On the other side of the shop they serve the best soul food I've tasted outside of my mom's kitchen. I ordered, which was full of shrimp, crab, okra and it had a huge crab claw in it. The good: The lobby was clean and well lit. Free soft serve ice cream cones. The chicken is super crunchy so if you live for the crunch, they've got you covered. The chicken sandwich is huge! And the wings are also pretty big. Those chickens must work out in the gym! The bad: Customer service is a joke! Drink stations unstocked. Dirty kitchen and kitchen staff with sagging uniforms!! Chicken seasoning is bland Spicy chicken is just a dry seasoning shaken over regular chicken. When we first arrived, I walked into the building, the temperature was freezing! Between the air conditioner and the ceiling fans, it was cold enough to hang beef in there! Most customers were shivering. The cashier could barely take our order without looking back at her phone. When I informed her that the tea dispensers were empty, she told me they were out of tea without even bothering to go and check. Another customer overheard my conversation and told me that she had just said the same thing and someone took her cup to the back and brought it back full of tea. Additionally, the fountain drink dispensers were low on flavors so the drinks were almost flavorless. At least the lemon aid was decent. While the chicken pieces are large, the flavor is not. The regular chicken is pretty bland and needs a bit more seasoning in the recipe. The "spicy" chicken wings and sandwich are just regular chicken with a super salty, slightly spicy seasoning shaken over it after it's put in the container. My order had so much just dumped on top that it pooled in the bottom of the sandwich container. Similarly, the wings had none of the seasoning on the bottom side. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed another lady who was quite dissatisfied with her order and was nice enough to show us what she ordered. Let's just say, I'm glad I didn't order the fish! They opened one in Florida and when we visited we were just not as impressed and decided we probably wouldn't go back unless it was the original one. While on vacation again, we noticed Vicious Biscuit on the map and decided to give it another try. I'm so glad we did because the food was spot on and delicious. I got the Vicious and my husband got the Flame Thrower. The biscuits are buttery, flaky, and flavorful. Both of ours came with a cheddar jalapeño biscuit and they were exactly as we had remembered when we visited the OG Vicious Biscuit. The chicken, the cowboy candy, and gravy on mine were perfect. The chicken, cowboy candy, and candied bacon on my husband's were equally excellent. Great job on making us wanting to visit again! Vicious Biscuit is once again a stop we'll be looking for on our next road trip!
