Excellent Chinese noodle place that is a new branch of the same restaurant in OKC's Asian District. Great beef noodles, rice dishes and other entrees. Great service and cool atmosphere. Recommended!

Updated review -- 3 stars…read more I came back and tried the Spicy Curry Deluxe Tonkatsu Ramen. The dish itself still had good flavor, but there were several things that disappointed me this time. First, this is a Chinese restaurant, so I understand that the noodles aren't necessarily going to be traditional Japanese ramen noodles. The noodles they use are different, and that's something I can accept. What I can't overlook is that the menu specifically advertises fish cakes, and there were no fish cakes in my bowl. The egg was another issue. The menu shows a half egg, prepared more in the Japanese ramen style, but I received one whole, large hard-boiled egg. It was also extremely cold in the center. It seemed like an egg that had simply been refrigerated and then dropped into the hot ramen rather than being prepared specifically for the dish. Unfortunately, I also got sick after eating the ramen. I can't say for certain what caused it--it could have been the egg, the amount of oil, or something else--but given the condition of the egg, it definitely made me question the preparation. The biggest disappointment was the lack of attention to presentation and the details of the dish. The ramen tasted decent, but it felt more like the ingredients were being assembled for convenience rather than the dish being prepared to be the best version it could be. I previously had this restaurant rated higher, but after this experience I'm dropping it to 3 stars. The food wasn't terrible, but missing advertised ingredients, the way the egg was served, and getting sick afterward make it difficult for me to rate it higher.

I've been meaning to try this place and finally had the chance to stop by. Staff were friendly, but…read morethe ordering system wasn't clearly explained--you order first at the counter and then go back to pay after eating, which felt a bit slow, especially with lots of takeout orders. I ordered the bún riêu (crab noodle soup). Portion size was good with plenty of toppings, but the broth was bland and lacked depth. The grilled pork bánh mì was flavorful but could've used more meat. Pork egg rolls were decent. Overall, glad I tried it, but I wasn't very impressed. Might've ordered the wrong dish.

You…read morehave the traditional appetizers, vermicelli, egg noodle, glass noodle, rice platters, pho, and Vietnamese baguettes. I would recommend to come here for their special dishes such as Bun Cha Ha Noi, Bún Đậu mắm tôm, bún riêu, bánh khot, and bánh cuốn. Bún Chả and Bún Đậu are traditional northern Vietnamese dishes which usually come with grilled meats, vermicelli, vegetables and served with fish sauce. In Bun Cha, use lettuce to wrap these ingredients together whereas Bun Dau typically comes with wraps. I tried the Bun Cha and it was great. The mints at Cafe Ti Bo were super fresh. Bun rieu and bánh cuốn are more readily consumed dishes, no wrap or additional work needed. Bánh khot is like mini "bánh xèo" so if you like bánh xèo then this dish is a good alternative. The prices of these dishes are quite fair, $13-14, with good portion size. The kumquat and coconut juice was good but it did have a distinctive smell of pickled kumquat. The "che ba màu" which was their only dessert was excellent. With so many dishes left to try, Cafe Ti Bo is on my return list.

You're in the middle of the week just finishing up one customer visit on the heels of another with a lot to do in between. I normally adventurous wanting to venture out and try a restaurant the night just calls for staying in the room and ordering something in. Today was one of those days for me. I ordered delivery. The last time I was in Oklahoma City was in 1999 passing through on the way to Fort Worth, Texas for a Habitat for Humanity trip. So I don't have a lot of experience with the local dining culture. A quick read of a few sites said that aside from barbecue Asian food was a stand out in the area. So I looked for a good Chinese place and saw one with braised pork belly which caught my attention. I heard that with a hot and sour soup, which is one of my favorite soups when it's done right. Today it wasn't done right. It was just really bland. I normally like it spice here and to be honest it just didn't have a lot of flavor all around. I ordered some cream cheese wontons because, why not? They were OK. They were fried well and despite being delivered, were still crispy And the cream cheese inside of it was good, it would've just been nice to have a little bit more filling. I was really looking forward to the braised pork belly. The portion was ample and the sauce had a nice aroma to it. The pork itself was rather bland also. The preserved vegetables that came along with it had a nice Taste to them, but it didn't add much to the dish overall. All in all, the meal was so so. I wouldn't order from the place again and looking forward to my next eating adventure here tomorrow evening.
