Here is how they left my kitchen floor. (see pictures) The installer left gaps in four places that started to break away from the traffic. Apparently, the box of extra flooring they left us was damaged and they couldn't replace it so we asked how much to replace, and we found out that flooring has been discontinued and no other flooring would fit with the existing floor. They could only find 3 different colors of that brand, and this is what we are left with. One side of this dark floor is higher than the rest of the floor and we have already tripped on it. When I called Chris (the salesperson) back after he told my husband he could no longer help us, he was very condescending. Chris was supposed to bring by some samples for us to look at after quoting us a price of $1200 to get the kitchen floor replaced, and yet again he didn't bother to do that. Very poor install, after contacting Bob's they refused to send someone out to correct their mistake, This was for an Unused guestroom, so we didn't walk on it for many months after the install. After we had a guest, we noticed the carpet waves. Other carpet can go many years without moving, if at all. One year in, and it's completely loose. Very high-end carpet in new home, not acceptable. read more

Stay away from this company, especially James, their sales rep. I called at 10am at opening, he was already on phone, waited one hour. Called again at 11:17am, James answered and said he would call me back after he converses with customers in store. 4:50pm, I finally get a call, but that was after requesting another quote online. Claims he was busy, but promised to call me back after he was done with the customer that he dealing with at 11:17am. Stay away from this company. I was a previous customer was treated like garbage. No call back, had to call multiple time to get help, was pushed away with "will call you back" but never happened. What a shame that you treat previous customers like this. read more

We purchased carpet when they had their water damage sale. They came out, a little late, after they called us for instructions on how to get to the house. (Firs thought was, does your company use GPS?). They came late in the day. Had to go back to the shop to get more carpet tape. They returned, and got the job finished. No complaints. Carpet looks nice, and I will use them again for when we want to replace the inside carpet. Only complaint was: They said they would return yesterday for a repair inside the house, and never showed up or called. Strange, but maybe they didn't have the part. They are very nice to deal with, and took the old carpet away. read more

Moving in with my boyfriend in less than two weeks. Needed carpet ASAP because prior owners of my bf's house had cats and urinated on the carpet. After several attempts to clean the carpet the smell just wasn't coming out. Contacted & spoke/met with other companies that just couldn't get the job done in time and were asking for a ridiculous amount of $ for such a small area .In a panic Big Bobs was my last attempt. Chris saved the day literally! He went above and beyond to make us happy so effortlessly .He was fun and easy to work with and listened to our needs. *UPDATE* I was contacted by Customer Service who did everything they could to resolve the issue. They mentioned they will try to have more staff on-site to answer phones. Besides getting ripped off, I was unable to contact anyone after calling multiple times. I knew the square footage I needed but was "assured" by the sales guy that I needed more - now I am stuck with a significant amount of leftover carpet when I could have saved $100. I keep calling at all times of the day and can't get through to anyone. Very frustrating experience. read more

FYI Before you buy read this review. My Airforce Vet husband and I purchased Shaw flooring from Big Bob's Flooring, Lindsey the installation manager and his crew installed the floor in our basement. It was the worst possible installation. The floor is coming up, we have tried contacting the store manager Paul. They don't care that our basement floor is UGLY only because of their installation of bad work practices. My husband sent them pictures within a month of the flooring installation and again 3 mos later. RUN away FROM BIG BOB'S FLOORING. read more

I'd give them negative stars if I could. Our salesman was very nice, but that's were the positivity ends. The installation guys showed up and immediately began opening all the doors in our house to see where they could shove our furniture. We were told by our salesman to move out as much furniture as we could and they could move the rest from one side to the other as they did the floor. We told them not to open the doors since we had our pets locked up in those rooms. That didn't stop them from doing it anyway. They put the wrong color of quarter round in one room. They didn't even bother to put quarter round around our fireplace, they just filled in the gap with bright white caulk. Which stands out epically with the grey flooring and brick fireplace. They ran out of flooring in the middle of doing our bedroom and said they'd call when they got more in to schedule a time to finish the job. Several years later and that still hasn't happened. We had the supervisor come out to look at the stuff they didn't do right and he assured us it'd be fixed. That never happened either. So we have a partially finished floor that we paid full price for and damaged personal belongings. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! read more

I had never been treated with such disrespect as I was in this place. A salesman named Roger was unbelievably rude. Saying how sorry he was about my lack of social skills. Decided to give the place a second chance and stopped in to buy some carpet for a small application. Paid in advance, came to get the carpet and it wasn't cut to specs as promised. After getting a run-around with the sales guy, I didn't feel like messing with the place any longer, took it and left. I'll just cut it myself. Big Bob's can forget even being an option for any future projects I have. So many better options in the KC metro. read more

Horrible place to buy furniture! Bought by furniture and paid in full on the same day February 18, 2015 and as of today May 7, 2015 I have yet received my furniture and every time I call them they tell us it has been shipped. I placed an order for carpet and laminate. After the carpet installers installed the carpet I seen what appeared to be black stains / marks on the carpet. I called the store and was told to bring it in, I told them it had already been installed. They said they would come out and take pictures of the stains/ black marks ( carpet dye stains). They NEVER showed up or called. I'll NEVER buy from them again! Lowes and Home Depot do a better follow up. Big Bobs is in a hurry to cash your check/ credit card and once your out the door , you're on your own. read more

Decent sales people, however their products are not what they say they are. Recently purchased a sectional and after waiting for a month for it to get it in, it finally arrived. Well all but one piece. They told me is was on a 4 to 6 week back order. 3 months later it came in, and instead of delivering it to my house, I had to go and pick it up. If you finance through their lenders be aware that the lenders they use are crooks. They don't send out monthly bills, you can only pay in person, send a check in, or pay over the phone. The lenders have horrible customer service. The couch already has a broken spring and I have been waiting days on a call back about their so called life time warranty. I will never buy from Big Bobs Outlet again. You can find better deals else where. read more

I purchased a dining room set during the liquidation sale. The furniture was delivered in 2 days, the delivery people where so nice, and I just love my furniture. I had shopped around for two months and the sale price was much lower than the same brand elsewhere and online. Thanks Big Bob's! read more
