I feel so lucky to have been blessed with Joe and Ana as our real estate agents in Big Bear. We had a property in the Poet's Corner of Big Bear for 22 years. It reflected pride of ownership and had a great "vintage" cabin look. Unfortunately parking was difficult and the property had 44 stairs to the front door from the street. We just closed on a great house up in Big Bear and Joe and Ana went many extra miles to get it done. We just closed on a great home in Big Bear Lake this week, represented by Joe and Ana. We had been casually shopping for a couple of years, but when a tenant in another of our rentals gave us notice we decided to sell that place and went into high gear shopping for a replacement property. Five stars is not enough to express how happy we were having Joe and Ana as our agents. They are smart, conscientious, and intensely informed about the intricacies of the Big Bear market. They work fantastically as a team, with Ana following up on my call or email when Joe was caught up in something or out with clients. Upon first meeting we instantly felt at ease and comfortable with Joe, and that confidence only got stronger when we were in the thick of the sale. We bought our second home in Big Bear Lake with Joe and Ana as our realtors. In a market saturated with realtors, sometimes you get lucky and you find representation like Joe and Ana- who will go the extra mile for their clients. Joe showed us 10-15 homes, we bid upon (and lost) on two of those. Because we live in San Diego, we couldn't get up to Big Bear every time one popped up on the market- it would get snatched up before we even had a chance to view it. Under those circumstances, Joe went and looked at homes on our behalf and sent us a video of it to decide it's worth the drive for us to come view it and make a bid. We relied heavily on his opinion and general knowledge. And we were not disappointed. Third time was a charm but we had to act fast and we would have been unsuccessful without Joe's hustle. The Kovich team is incredibly responsive. They were quick to answer all of our questions and knowledgeable enough to point out important facts about the homes and areas we viewed that we wouldn't have otherwise thought of. The Kovich's want to put you in a home that is right for you above simply making a sale. Other realtors we have used were not as attentive and none of them checked up on us after we closed escrow and all paperwork was complete, except for Joe and Ana. Because we rent out this second home on VRBO, the Kovich team also went out of their way to set us up with important contacts as well as facilitating the VRBO transition from previous owner to us (which was a major headache).
