We had the opportunity to work with Joe and Ana on both sides of a transaction. When we were looking for a cabin they did thorough research and helped us identify a great investment property. When we were selling our cabin a few months back, they helped identify a buyer, off market, that provided us the opportunity to not inconvenience our renters. We really appreciate their clear and consistent communication as they always kept us informed of what was going on during escrow. Joe and Ana are experts in the Big Bear market and provided guidance through the entire transaction. I would highly recommend using them and their expertise when buying or selling a property on the mountain as we will again as well. read more

I highly recommend Big Bear Team Realty! It was an absolute pleasure working with Joe and Ana, who were both friendly, professional, helpful and acted with the highest integrity. I sold two properties with them. Joe is an excellent negotiator, and gave me frequent updates and helpful advice. Very highly recommended! read more

My wife and I were in the market for a vacation rental when we found Big Bear Team Realty and were referred to Jaime Page. Since we were from out of town, Jaime offered to show us up to twenty properties in a single day. That's a lot for anyone, but Jaime was willing to accommodate. We drove up the mountain midweek and ended up touring twelve homes. Jaime made the process totally stress free. She didn't pressure us into seeing any specific property, nor did she make us feel awkward about wanting to leave a "no" property quickly. She was completely honest about the good and bad of each property. We found her knowledge of vacation rentals and local ordinance especially helpful in our decision. Eventually, we found a perfect home a short walk from Snow Summit. After a couple days, we called Jaime to make an offer. Once the offer was accepted, Jamie made the whole process from escrow, to inspection and closing as easy as it could be. No pressure, no stress, no crazy negotiations. The whole process was as easy as can be. If you're looking the best agent, we would highly recommend Jaime. She's friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. You won't find a better agent in Big Bear! read more

Our friends recommended Joe and Ana about 5 years ago when we decided to buy a second home in big bear. Ana is so sweet and Joe is super knowledgeable, especially with big bear and the rental industry. He was always available when we needed to see homes and very patient and low pressure, which we liked. Fast forward to 5 years later...When we decided to sell that cabin, Joe and Ana were our first choice! Joe knew exactly what to price it at and he had the timing perfect! We ended up getting a bunch of offers and we struggled with picking the "perfect" buyer-it's an emotional process!!. Joe was so patient with us and talked us through it and we could not be happier with how it all went. Thanks Joe and Ana! They will always be our first choice to buy or sell! read more

We met with Joe and Ana a couple weeks ago to tour investment properties in Big Bear. Prior to us going up there Joe/Ana sent us a list of properties within our specific search parameters that they updated daily. We were able to narrow down the houses online and input personal notes for Joe/Ana so that they could help us narrow our search as well. This was very helpful during this process as it can get overwhelming looking at all the different properties. When we toured Big Bear properties with Joe he was very prompt, professional, and informative. He would give us the histories on the properties and explain why they had varying price points (the good, the bad, the ugly!). Ana even called him while we touring and provided us with a couple other vacancies within our search parameters that had just hit the MLS that day that we were able to add to our tour. They are a great team and they were really helpful to us during our search! read more

We recently purchased a home in Upper Moonridge. We were referred to Joe and Ana by a friend who had worked with them on multiple purchases. Joe and Ana were incredibly responsive throughout the process, usually getting back to us within an hour. They offered pragmatic advice throughout and never tried to oversell or direct out of alignment with our interests. I mentioned to a realtor friend in LA a couple of the choices that Joe made during the offer phase, and she was impressed with his judgment. But I think the best part of working with them was the landing board they provided for becoming a part-time resident of the community of Big Bear, providing tons of information about utilities, restaurants, services, tips and tricks--it felt like having a personal concierge! We intend to work with them again. read more

I've worked with Joe and Ana on several real estate transactions, as they've helped me buy/sell my personal homes. I've also worked with them (I'm a real estate Appraiser) on appraisals and they're attentive, easy to work with, and so competent in their work. It's a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend using them for your real estate needs. read more

I feel so lucky to have been blessed with Joe and Ana as our real estate agents in Big Bear. We had a property in the Poet's Corner of Big Bear for 22 years. It reflected pride of ownership and had a great "vintage" cabin look. Unfortunately parking was difficult and the property had 44 stairs to the front door from the street. Joe came to the property and was on time and very clear on what his initial impressions were. He set a recommended purchase price that exceeded my expectations. Even though our cabin was not a high dollar property and we were not planning on purchasing another mountain property, Joe and Ana provided such a high level of service. They are such an amazing team. If Joe was in a meeting or unavailable, Ana was so quick to jump in with a response or address our concerns whether morning or night. We encountered issues with the inspection of our cabin during escrow and Joe was hands on and helped keep the deal moving forward to achieve success. A week after escrow closed, we unexpectedly located a mountain property that we were interested in. I reached out to Joe and he secured a showing for us. We would have made an offer, but Joe mentioned he may have another listing coming up 2 blocks away on the same street. It was exactly what we were looking for and after having a place in Big Bear for 22 years, we know this is our dream property. Thank you so much to Joe and Anna for helping us achieve our mountain dreams. I can now walk to Snow Summit and see my driveway from the slopes and I have Joe and Anna to thank. I would never have been able to make an offer on this property before it hit the market if Joe and Anna had not been my agent. read more

We just closed on a great house up in Big Bear and Joe and Ana went many extra miles to get it done. Throughout the process they were beyond helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and most importantly - a pleasure to work with. We visited Big Bear from our home base in LA several times looking at properties. Each time they were super prepared and were showing us homes that matched our criteria. Because they live in Big Bear and have several rental properties of their own, they have been an incredible resource of knowledge to us guiding us every step of the way. It's been a few years since we've purchased a property and this time around, July 2017, escrow was a complete pain in the butt. But Joe always had our backs. He looked out for us at every step, making sure we were protected and was a great partner and problem solver when things got complicated. And they did. BUT - with Joe & Ana's help, we solved all issues and closed escrow just a couple days ago! I couldn't recommend Joe more. He was awesome. Still need to pick his brain a bit on local vendors to get our new property rental ready. So don't let me down now Joe - or I'll change this to a 1 star. ps - just kidding about the 1 star pps - maybe not kidding ppps - kidding. you guys are the best ;-) read more

We just closed on a great home in Big Bear Lake this week, represented by Joe and Ana. We had been casually shopping for a couple of years, but when a tenant in another of our rentals gave us notice we decided to sell that place and went into high gear shopping for a replacement property. Five stars is not enough to express how happy we were having Joe and Ana as our agents. They are smart, conscientious, and intensely informed about the intricacies of the Big Bear market. They work fantastically as a team, with Ana following up on my call or email when Joe was caught up in something or out with clients. Upon first meeting we instantly felt at ease and comfortable with Joe, and that confidence only got stronger when we were in the thick of the sale. Ana is lovely and charming, but also a powerhouse who chases down every detail and overlooks nothing. Our particular purchase had some complexities, first because it was a 1031 Exchange transaction, which have stringent restrictions. Coupled with Escrow companies in BB being under a lot of stress due to a very hot market at the time we purchased, we had a rough few days leading up to our closing. Joe and Ana were there for us through it all. Joe has some kind of secret access to back-channels and personal cell numbers, because he made things happen when we couldn't get much motion from the Escrow company ourselves. He even paved the way with a personal contact at the title company to make certain we closed on the right day. They are the ones you want in your corner when things get a little crazy, as sometimes happens in a fast-moving market. We own a beautiful home in Big Bear now thanks to them. read more

Can't say enough great stuff about Joe and Ana. They are super responsive and helpful. In fact, I'm not sure we would have gotten this property without their assistance as they went above and beyond. The property came on the market on a Saturday evening and we didn't have availability to get up there to see it the next day. We were pretty certain it was going to be snatched up quickly and Joe offered to go stop by and take some video for us of the inside and the surrounding neighborhood. It was enough to help us decide to go forward. They also helped connect us with local resources that would help us to be able to close quickly. Overall - they are a great duo and so easy to work with! We highly recommend! Thanks for helping to make our dreams of owning a little mountain cabin come true! read more

We bought our second home in Big Bear Lake with Joe and Ana as our realtors. In a market saturated with realtors, sometimes you get lucky and you find representation like Joe and Ana- who will go the extra mile for their clients. Joe showed us 10-15 homes, we bid upon (and lost) on two of those. Because we live in San Diego, we couldn't get up to Big Bear every time one popped up on the market- it would get snatched up before we even had a chance to view it. Under those circumstances, Joe went and looked at homes on our behalf and sent us a video of it to decide it's worth the drive for us to come view it and make a bid. We relied heavily on his opinion and general knowledge. And we were not disappointed. Third time was a charm but we had to act fast and we would have been unsuccessful without Joe's hustle. The Kovich team is incredibly responsive. They were quick to answer all of our questions and knowledgeable enough to point out important facts about the homes and areas we viewed that we wouldn't have otherwise thought of. The Kovich's want to put you in a home that is right for you above simply making a sale. Other realtors we have used were not as attentive and none of them checked up on us after we closed escrow and all paperwork was complete, except for Joe and Ana. Because we rent out this second home on VRBO, the Kovich team also went out of their way to set us up with important contacts as well as facilitating the VRBO transition from previous owner to us (which was a major headache). This is a local team, they know the area intimately; they are straight forward and honest as well as genuinely, authentically, nice people. read more

"An honest real estate agent, if that's who your looking for then use Joe Kovich. He always made himself available for us told us the truth good or bad, never tried to oversell or push us towards what we weren't looking for. He is very knowledgeable about the area, and it was a blessing to have had Joe as our agent." And his wife Ana what a wonderful couple she was so helpful and a big part of why our experience was so good thank you so much to both of them. read more

Joe and Ana are exceptional. They helped us purchase our cabin in 2014 and again in 2019 when we sold it. They are very responsive, understanding and knowledgeable. If we buy another property in Big Bear Lake, we'd happily use their services for a third time. Thanks you guys! read more

We had Joe and Ana list our property Dec. 25, 2019 and escrow closed February 3, 2020. Yes, that's just 5 weeks! We fully expected this to take much longer and I'm not saying everyone will get a cash offer as we did but it's clear these two will do everything they can to sell your property quickly and easily. They responded almost immediately to all our texts and emails and we were selling a property held in 2 separate family trusts so it wasn't a simple situation. Everything was done electronically through docusign and couldn't have been easier. These two rock! read more

I had an opportunity to work with Big Bear Team Realty this summer and both Joe and Anna were amazing and a dream real estate agents. I chose them because of their stellar personality and expert knowledge in what they do. They are trustworthy, patient, flexible and extremely accommodating. They have helped me in every aspect of the process. Their extensive and thorough information, has helped me make the best decision. They made the process of buying a cabin fun and easy. They didn't rush me just gave me all the information I needed to make a choice. They even went out of their way to talk to inspectors or ask the right questions since the whole process was new to me. I am truly happy with my new home in Big Bear and so grateful to them!! Thank you so much guys!! read more

We worked with Joe and Ana to sell our cabin in Sugarloaf (Big Bear area) so we could do a 1031 exchange on a property out of state. When Joe told me the value of my cabin, I honestly thought he was joking. He gave me a value of $50,000 more than I had expected. Joe and Ana listed the cabin and had an offer in within four days of the listing and closed escrow within 45-days of the open. My wife and I are not local to Big Bear so Joe and Ana basically took care of everything for us. The process was smooth and Joe and Ana explained pretty much every step, and they maintained a high level of communication through the process. Joe and Ana are familiar with the area, they know the current market, and they make the process a lot easier for both buyer and seller. I highly recommend Joe and Ana for your real estate (purchase or sale) needs in the Big Bear area. read more

We worked with Jamie Page. She helped us find a great property to be both a secondary home and vacation rental. Despite being from out of town, she was able to help us find the property that was perfect for us. We bought sight-unseen based on her word and pics and videos she sent. We went into escrow while away on vacation. When we showed up to see it for the first time, it was just as described. Exactly what we wanted. We are so grateful for her help. There aren't enough stars on Yelp to give her the review she deserves. read more

Joe helped my husband and me find a vacation cabin in Big Bear. He was wonderful to work with, very patient with our schedule and accomodating of the fact that we live out of town and could not always get up to Big Bear to view houses. We looked intermittently for about 9 months, stopping and starting as we got busy with work, and Joe always remained responsive. When we settled on a house we loved, and wanted to put an offer in immediatey, but could not get up to Big Bear to do it, Joe very patiently skyped us through a thorough tour of the interior and even sent us videos before we could schedule the skype tour. We ended up putting in an offer without seeing the house and closed escrow a month later. We love the cabin and could not have done it without Joe. read more
