I thought it would be a small salad, like Olga's does, but no, it was full-size. And the gyro was stuffed with meat. After finishing the salad, I could only eat about half of the sandwich, so I took the rest home. The server (I didn't get her name) asked if I wanted a refill on my iced tea -- and then, she asked if I wanted it to go, which was perfect. And she saw the coupon I had with me & she automatically took off the 15% from my bill. I don't think many people know this restaurant is here or open, though; I was there around 2:00 on a Thursday, and there were only other tables occupied, and they were finishing up, leaving me alone for a little while. Leo's is so generous with the chili we can take half off the dogs and make chili fries. They have a very impressive menu featuring Greek and American dishes. After taking a bite, my husband became sick and vomited. We contacted Leo's immediately to explain what happened and request a refund. We were initially told they could not refund our card but could offer a store credit, which we declined. A manager then told us they would provide a cash refund instead. Although I thought it was unusual that they couldn't simply refund the original payment method, I agreed. When I returned later that same day to collect the cash refund they had promised, they refused to give it to me because they were upset that I had shared my experience in a local Facebook group. The spoiled food was concerning enough, but refusing a previously agreed-upon refund because a customer publicly shared their experience was even more disappointing. I would have preferred for the situation to have been handled professionally and for the resolution they offered to have been honored. I've filed a complaint with the Oakland County Health Dept and the BBB.
