Bottom line up front: If you eat here expect that 2 to 14 hours later, you will very likely be saying to yourself' "ohhhh, why did I choose to eat there?" or asking others, "where is the nearest bathroom?!" You will be asked to add gratuity of 18-20% on top of the "buffet experience" because they apparently don't change enough to pay a living wage to the servers at this location. The Buffet is not good and super expensive for the options and low quality. Fatty sausage and beef and bland kraut. They have the typical Buffett "fillers" you would expect like bread, potatoes, Mac & cheese. I remember this being so much better years ago, but things change. Beer is NOT included in the price although the Disney app can lead you to believe it is. One price of $49 for lunch in the app for the Buffett and no prices next to the beer... but the wine and liquors have prices listed. Really? Salad bar had salad, bean salad, tomato salad, and liverwurst. On one side, they had cheese soup (very rich) but was good with pretzel roll. I loved the meatballs and macaroni and cheese! My wife and I have been coming to Disney world since 2016 and really enjoy the World showcase at Epcot. This year, we wanted to try some of the restaurants located in the different countries so we decided to start with Biergarten. Upon entering this sit down experience, you kinda feel like your in a village setting outdoor courtyard. The decor, true to Disney expectations was pretty amazing and does give you some good things to look at. Food is served buffet style and is themed around German favorites but does include salads, but do not expect a "healthy" alternative. The wait staff is there to ensue your drinks are full and plates are cleared. Our wait team was very friendly, engaging and honestly felt like she was happy to be there. They do serve alcohol (beer/wine) but not sure about mixed drinks. Thru out the day, a Polka band comes out and plays music and does toasts with the guests. During our time there, it was pretty packed and everyone participated and sang along with the band with really added to the experience. This was a great experience and would encourage all to try, however, thou the food was fairly good, go for the ambiance and entertainment as well as a decent meal. read more

During our trip to the "most magical place on Earth" we only scheduled one big meal on the resort premises. Located at Epcot's World Showcase the Biergarten restaurant is (obviously) at the German pavilion. On a hot day we pressed our way through the World to get to the American Adventure attraction and then our reservations at the Germany section. Our son was crashed out in his stroller as we waited for a short time to be seated. We had a nice waiter who took our drink order but I'm the only one to get a beer. I got the pink grapefruit Hefeweizen which hit the spot on a warm, humid day. The restaurant serves a buffet meal of mostly German food. The food was hit or miss, but there was enough of the good stuff to make up for the bad. We liked the pretzel rolls a lot. The 'schnitzel' was just ok. Spaeztle was better, along with the sauerbraten. I also liked the tomato salad and the cucumber salad with dill. We had entertainment in the form of an oomph band that played some standards and also bells and alpine horns. We stayed so long that they started their second rotation of songs before we left. The desserts were mostly good too. At about $45/adult it's expensive but you can make the most of the buffet. Likely a better value than many of the Disney sit down restaurants. All in all, not bad. I LOVE the cucumber salad here! Potato salad was good but the potatoes were kinda hard. Fave items were the roasted chicken, potato pancake and mac and cheese. Mike really liked the salmon but I had too many other things I'd rather try. We also had schnitzel and spaetzle with gravy (Hunter's Sauce) but I thought there was a funny flavor to the gravy. Tried the Liverwurst (in the cold salad section) and was surprised to find I liked it. Go figure! The sausages were fine but I think I enjoyed the sauerkraut more. Again, go figure. Biergarten Restaurant has been a family favorite for many years and during our most recent trip in December 2021, we were thrilled to see its return after being closed during the pandemic and were even more excited to have it as part of this year's Dining Package line up for the Candlelight Processional. As one of the few buffets inside of Epcot, Biergarten Restaurant offers the full package of all-you-can-eat food, adult beverages, and entertainment. It is a great family choice that will get your money's worth to fuel up at the park and relax. Located in the Germany pavilion within World Showcase at Epcot, Biergarten Restaurant is the signature table service establishment for this country. Though I do think they accept walk ups if space is available, Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) are highly recommended to ensure you are able to dine here. Reservations can be made by phone, website, or the MyDisneyExperience app up to 60 days before your visit. As mentioned, this restaurant is a buffet. They do a good job of sampling German fare while still making sure their offerings are family-friendly overall. From sausages, different potato dishes, meats, other traditional German dishes and sides, and an array of desserts, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Biergarten Restaurant. My signature favorites were the Chicken Schnitzel, Spaetzel, and the fish of the day. I couldn't stop coming back for more. For those who are also of age, their beer selection is on point. I read multiple reviews talking about the large number of food options in addition to those listed in the Disney app. I disagree. Our reservation was 6:35pm and they had already run out of potato pancakes. I don't eat sausage or pork (other than bacon), or red meat. They had salmon and chicken but both were overcooked. My favorites were the beer cheese soup with spatzle or pretzel bun. The soup was more of a cheese dip but I guess you could eat it like a soup. The cold cucumber salad and the potato options were good. The Black Forest cake was more of a Swiss roll. It was light but ok flavor. My favorite dessert was the cheesecake with berry compote. Definitely get a dinner plate when you go for dessert. The Mac & cheese was also excellent. It was in the middle of the two buffets in the kids section. Our waiter said both sides of the buffet were the same but the one side was out of cheese soup. The entertainment was good and authentic for a Biergarten says our German friend that was with us. My husband said all the sausages and meats were good/ok. For the price ($49/person) we won't be back. The price does include standard fountain drinks with alcohol and specialty drinks extra. They serve liters of beer which is fun. I ordered a wine flight to help decide which glass to order. Total for three people with alcohol is easily over $200. Our server was friendly and from Germany. We may have gotten a bit of better service since our friend speaks German. If you're a local try Hollerbach in Sanford. If you're at Disney for vacation, enjoy. I wasn't sure what to expect as it's a German-themed buffet aimed at the family audience, not so much a 'fine dining' experience. I have to say it was worth the price of admission. It's not the best food in a Disney park, but for the price, it's definitely a good meal. Not great, but good. I forgot to take photos of the food, but there was a good selection even for my wife who does not eat meat, but she does eat seafood. There were some good sausages, a couple of good potato dishes and the desserts were not bad. It's an unlimited buffet so you help yourself as often as you wish. The best part was honestly the live band, they were really fun to watch and they surprised us by actually playing the alphorns. We thought they were just decorative items on either side of the stage, but then they played a song with them. And they sounded great. If you're looking for a good sit down meal, in air-conditioning, you really can't go wrong here. Barely a setup up from frozen Hungry Man dinners. Plenty of food but it's pretty mediocre and worst of all every thing is over sugared. Every here is too sweet and full of sugar. We came here for an early Christmas family event and we had a great experience. We came to watch the Candlelight Procession at Epcot and got the dining package, meaning if we ate dinner at one of their restaurants, we got good guaranteed seats for the procession. This was our first time eating at Biergarten, but we regularly eat German food. The inside was super immersive and felt like you were in a little Bavarian town. The tables were set stadium style around a stage with the food served buffet style in the back. I was incredibly impressed with the food! Everything was the perfect temperature, looked beautiful, and tasted incredible. I tried the cucumber salad, pickled beets, liverwurst, pork schnitzel, salmon, roasted potatoes, pretzel bread, sauerkraut, meatballs, and beer cheese soup. For dessert, apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce. Everything was so good, I was sad to get full so soon! I couldn't even try everything they offered because there was so much! We decided to try the Biergarten as we realized we hadn't eaten here before and it was a slow day at EPCOT. Food was so good; I could not complain. Again I'm not a huge German food fan but I left this place stuffed. Sausage was amazing, Brats I didn't care for personally; they had a fried pork that I could have eaten alone all night. The creme de le creme though was the Peach Crumble (dessert area) & the Cheesecake - I was full and still made room for these two! Advice: start with that lol Price is well, it's Disney so take everything with a grain of salt. 4 of us; almost $200 I'll leave that there. But I will say that I left 100% satisfied. Never had German food before so didn't know what to expect. My sister made a lunch reservation. There were 5 of us and none of us had German food prior. We checked in and was told we have to sit with other people. We didn't think too much of it at that moment. We got seated and our server, Andy came to explain how everything works and took our drink orders. This is a buffet style restaurant so you will serve yourself. There were salads, sausages, pork, salmon, potatoes, etc. can't forget about the desserts! There weren't many selections on the food. With the price, I expected more. The food is alright. I guess I'm just not used to it. The only thing I liked were the potato wedges and schnitzel. For the desserts, I only enjoyed the cookies. Halfway through our meals, the host brought 2 other people to join our table. We thought it was a bit odd because there were tons of other unoccupied tables. We didn't mind too much at first as they didn't cause any problems but one of them got so drunk a bit later and ruined my brother's meal. He wasn't too happy about that. The Biergarten is a mainstay at Disney's Epcot, and for good reason. It is a buffet of traditional German foods, set in a restaurant/stage that looks like you are in the old country celebrating a small village festival. The cherry on top is the band that plays German favorites and even pulls out less commonly seen acts like the long horns, xylophone and cowbells. This is my second time to Biergarten, though to be honest, I don't really recall going there when I was younger. I liked everything about it this time around,...perhaps too much! I definitely overindulged in the buffet and needed to lie down and digest properly after dinner. But who can blame me? Sausages? Kraut? Spaetzle? Meatballs in brown gravy? Sauerbraten? Who can resist? German food is a top three international cuisine for me and the part of my heritage that is German was definitely enjoying themselves! Ok,...so maybe the Spaetzle was a little harder than it should have been and the same with the Sauerbraten. It is buffet food that is made in mass quantities, so I think it can be forgiven unless you are one of these really picky Yelp critics. Overall, it was great! The show is good,...a little loud, but good and definitely gets you into the mood. I really enjoyed our dinner there and would definitely go back on my next Disney visit. Wow! This was an experience. The inside of the restaurant is wonderfully themed from top to bottom, and the scenery that looks like buildings and skyline makes the whole place just feel larger than life. It's a shock when you walk in for the very first time. You'll find yourself looking around at everything for a while. The server comes up to you and takes your drink order. He or she will give you refills and take your plates away for the rest of your visit. Also, quite a few times a day, there will be a German band that gets up on stage and sings traditional German songs and they invite everyone to come on down to the dance floor. It really is a spectacle. As for the food, I had no idea what to expect. I half-expected just rows and rows of sausages with sauerkraut, but I found a lot more than that. I'll go over my top five and mention a few things to avoid. Numbers 5 through 3 were the Cheesecake, Meatballs, and the Pretzel Rolls. I couldn't get enough of these items. It's nice to have nice creamy cheesecake to cut through all the rich, German food. The meatballs were moist and flavorful all the way through, and the authentic pretzel taste was really nice to come back to after that fad a few years ago where every restaurant under the sun wanted to put out their own pretzel bun. Number 2 is the Oven-roasted Potatoes. These were all super crispy on the outside and cooked very well all the way through, even though the sizes of each potato chunk varied from one to another. Salty and peppery and delicious. Number 1 is the Pork Schnitzel. It was lightly breaded to add a crisp to the outside of the nice tender pork inside. It was akin to Chicken Parmesan. My favorite thing I couldn't get enough. Things to avoid. Maybe the potato salad. It was just uncooked and strangely textured. Looking at the rest of what I was going to say, I think I'll just leave it at that. The rest of my opinions are probably just that, opinions, and I don't wanna put them down. Someone has to like Spätzle out there, I'm sure. But I refuse with the potato salad. It was just bad. Overall, this was a five star experience that was truly memorable and I would come back in a heartbeat. I have to try all the other Disney buffets first, though. There is no outdoor dining and the whole experience is indoor. The music performance is entertaining but the food didn't justify the price. Although there are various types of meats served, they're not too distinguishable from one another. They're all one-dimensional and mostly just salty/dry. The desserts were pretty good though! It's about $50 a person, but an order for one person could easily feed two. The protein is really filling - add that to the beers, there's no way that one person could finish her portion. I think they price per person, but if you can avoid it, one order is enough for two. I've come to this restaurant many times before and it tends to be more hit-or-miss in recent years. The Biergarten Restaurant is a buffet restaurant in Disney Epcot's World Showcase Germany section. Right off the bat you need a park ticket to get in so if you aren't planning to go to Epcot, this place isn't for you. The pros: If you are looking for good German food, this restaurant offers up all your favorites - variety of sausages (wursts), sauerkraut, schnitzels and of course good beer. Kids will find food to eat as they have a kids section with spaetzel (like a German pasta and butter), macaroni and cheese, and "hot dogs" plus a very good dessert section. If you catch it in time, there is also a fun and lively music show with your typical German music. It is really fun to watch and they get the whole crowd going. The cons: this last time we went we missed the show entirely. We were there for a whole hour and didn't get to hear any of the music - which is really what makes this place worth going to for the price. That was very disappointing. Also, if you are a party of less than 8, expect to be seated with strangers. For adults, this may not be a big deal, but with kids, it may make the kids uncomfortable sitting next to complete strangers. Once the music starts, everyone is singing and no one cares, but if you hit it when there is no show... it can get awkward. The food is top notch, abundant German cuisine served buffet style. Our waitress was German, extremely pleasant and very efficient. Since I am mainly German, this restaurant really reminded me of my ancestry. The live oompah band was amazing and really made for a fun experience. My only "complaint" was that they only performed for about 20 minutes and there were no authentic German dancers, like they have at Busch Gardens. Biergarten is such a fun place to go with the whole family for dinner! The food is served buffet style. There is a massive selection of German salads, noodle dishes, meat, side dishes, entrees, desserts, and even a carving station. The baked mac n cheese and Schnitzel are my favorites. The food is very good, some of the best that I've had inside of a theme park! It is served fresh and hot. There is also a decent beer list and they serve flights! While the food is great, I think it is the decor and atmosphere of Biergarten that truly impresses me. The restaurant is decorated to look like a German outdoor patio restaurant. The ceiling is a fake night sky with stars. There are lamp posts, fake German shops and cafes along the side of the restaurant and a cobblestone ground. There is a stage in the middle of the restaurant with a German band playing German drinking songs. Lots of families get up and dance to the music. It's a very enjoyable experience! read more

My favorite buffet in Disney (I've only been to two)! The entertainment is super fun, even when it's half full at 2pm. The food is very good, with all your traditional German favorites. I really enjoyed all the cold salads, including sliced cucumbers and a kraut slaw. The salmon is very good and the schnitzel must be eaten with the Holstein sauce! A really fun show and pretty good food. Disclaimer up front, I don't eat pork. Pretty much 80% of the meat here is pork or has pork in it. Wiener Schnitzel? Surprisingly pork. Meatballs? Pork. Sausage? Well duh, pork. So basically I was able to eat the Chicken and the Salmon, which I pretty much figured going in (although I had been optimistic that the Wiener Schnitzel wasn't pork). Lucky for me, that chicken and salmon was awesome and there were tons of sides so I didn't leave hungry. They seat you in tables of eight so you have to wait for your entire party to be seated. There was just two of us so we were seated with a group of four and another group of two. THE FOOD: Like I said earlier, the chicken and salmon were good! There is a lot of pickled flavors with the sides. I got kind of sick of it and ended up carb loading on the pretzel bread, regular bread, and mac and cheese. You need to try the mac and cheese! There is cheese baked on top and it is amazing! I got seconds. THE BAND: The food was between a 3 and a 4, but the band is what makes this experience. They are talented! There are many different instruments showcased during the performance and every one was fantastic. The band gets a five! This is a quicker meal since you don't have to wait for your food to be cooked. Since it was so pork heavy this will probably be a one and done for me, but if you eat pork then you'll probably enjoy this buffet. read more

All the stars are for the wait staff and jolly band. They were lovely and the decor (Bavarian village with a water mill) was fun. Food was underwhelming and I basically hate a buffet anyway - but they did keep it turned over, cleaned and hot despite the best efforts of little kids with no buffet etiquette to try and make it messy. I would have preferred fewer, better dishes. Everything was represented, but didn't come together for me. Basically noshed on the pretzel buns and flight of beer (nice!). Glad we tried it, but Liberty Jnn is the only sit down I would redo in terms of food itself. TIP - place had cleared out by 8. If you want the fun sing-along crowd, go a bit earlier ;) read more

Great food & amazing entertainment ! It's care to enjoy family style food; appetizers salads, main meat plate with sides & all you can eat dessert plate. Comes with fountain drinks; alcohol is extra. They have the best beer in all of Epcot in my option. During COVID: all parties are spaced apart and sanitize after every party The entertainment is so fun pre-Covid would be a party place to be for dinner. For the appetizer salads I loved all of them; potato, macaroni salad, and tomato and cucumber salad. For the meats: The sausages were very good but I personally love the meatballs. Highly recommended the meatballs & the roasted potatoes The macaroni and cheese was very good. I personally don't like sauerkraut but it was pretty good. For dessert; cheesecake with berries, chocolate forest cake with cherries, cookie & Apple strudel. In my option the cheesecake with berries is the winner so light and delicious. Overall had an amazing experience would recommend to others. read more
