Great experience! Walked in here toying with the idea of picking up a bike for the first time. I was greeted with a warm welcome and was asked if I needed any assistance. After that short interaction I knew they were going to get my business. Fast forward past a long conversation of what type of bike I wanted and for the type of activity. After a couple options, a lot of back and forth on how much I should spend I finally pulled the trigger. I ended up paying alittle more than the budget called for but I knew if I was going to stick to this hobby I wouldn't need any upgrades or modifications for a long long time. Over all I was very satisfied with my experience and highly recommend this shop for your MTB needs. I'm not a cyclist, but enjoy riding for fitness, and pleasure with my wife. Following recent back surgery, I was anxious to get moving again. My surgeon emphasized low impact, so the possibility of running at this point were ruled out. Thoughts of getting back in the saddle were very appealing. I got my bike out for an intial ride to see how it would go. Right off I could tell there were issues with my balance, as well as back pain. I had read about various wind trainers, and was considering going that route. My bike is Cannondale F5 that I've owned for 13 years. About a year ago I had Shaun swap out my knobby tires for something more road-like. Looking for some guidance, I was met by Greg. After discussing what I was trying to accomplish I decided on the Saris fluid2 trainer. Great piece of gear! The proved speed/cadence sensor connects with my Garmin Forerunner effortlessly. As unbelievable as it may sound, we do not have dedicated wifi, so Greg even researched some viable riding app options for me. Due to continued back pain, I asked Him about tweaking my seating position, which I felt needed to be (although not as cool looking), more upright. After maxing out the adjustment on my current stem with no real improvement, he had me bring my bike back. While sitting in the saddle and holding the position I was looking for, Greg used his calibrated eye to calculate we would need a 5" rise. With the possibility of having to install new cables and current COVID-19 induced lack of parts, I expected to be without my bike for at least a couple weeks. All the parts were found locally, It was done in like 24 hrs! He hit it out of the park! The difference was amazing! No more back pain!...which allowed me to start logging some miles. So then I began experiencing some different pain. Back at the shop, Greg schooled me on seats, as well as riding shorts (which I thought I'd never wear). Now, a 2+ hour ride can be done without pain from those controllable sources. Greg's wealth of knowledge and awesome people skills have enabled me to go farther than I expected with my training. My opinion....Shaun, along with his staff, have developed the type of shop/customer service that makes you feel like you are valued, and proves it with their courteous expertise. Whether dropping 3k on the latest Specialized offering, or a few bucks on a tube, they all (Shaun, Greg, Nico, and JT), set the bar high. read more

Such a great group of professionals! I walked in and was greeted by a very nice young man who was quick to drop what he was doing to see how he could help me. I came in believing my son's bike needed an entirely new tire so that's what I asked for. They put the bike up on the inspection rack and Greg was kind enough to explain it was just the valve that was out of place. He explained how the "slime" worked, popped the valve back into place, pumped the tire and asked if there were any other problems. Then he went on to converse with my kiddo about his Spiderman coat, which made my son an instant fan! They could have made a profit off of me but instead just genuinely wanted to help get another bike back out on the road. To me, that's the difference between a salesman and a professional. They helped me with my stroller tire because it had gone flat and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. I brought my tire in and I was out in a few minutes only cost $13 less then what I cost to get a new tube shipped to me. Will be going back there to look at bikes. read more

I had it in on an early Saturday. I was immediately greeted, and started to ask a myriad of questions as I looked for a road bike. I have been mountain biking for six months, but I've recently gotten into triathlons, and needed some professional help in deciding what to buy. The business has mostly specialized bikes, and that was a little disappointing, but at the same time they had a broad spectrum Of models. I started initially looking at the competitive bikes which were in the 2 to 3000 range, but they didn't have the right components, i.e. this breaks, available for me. Plus as a new triathletes I really wanted something basic. After going back-and-forth for an hour I came to the conclusion to buy the specialize Azzer Sport for $899. I looked online and that price was fair, plus they sold me very nice mountain biking shoes with clips set up my bike, put on my cages for my water bottles, change the stem of my handlebars to make it more comfortable, and all-around were very supportive. So far I have put in two days and 30 miles of writing, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you very much for your service! read more

I couldn't find a working air compressor at any gas station around here and when I paid for one it didn't put air in my tire. Idk. But when I came to them they were super nice and chill. They put the air in my Bike tires and they didn't charge me. Truly grateful. read more

This is a top notch bike shop. Being a Marine and having been to shops all over the country this place rates up there with the friendliest and most helpful place I have been. The mechanic Joseph is very knowledgeable and went out of his way to do the repairs on my bike while I waited. The shop managers answered all of my questions and made me feel at right at home. This was my first time buying a road bike. I checked out 4 different shops and did a lot of research for a Specialized bike and Bicycle Gallery offered the same price as the other stores (MSRP), but the fitting was free (a store in Wilmington was going to charge $200), free service for a year, a lifetime warranty on the frame of the bike, all accessories installed and the staff (Jeff) was awesome. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the merchandise - from the bikes to the water bottle holders and computers. I appreciated that he informed me of my options without making me feel pressured in any way to purchase. During the fitting, he also took the time to swap out a component on the bike and didn't charge for the upgrade. Also, all of the accessories I purchased (water bottle holder, bag, repair kit & computer and I will be purchasing clip in pedals) were/will be installed for me. He even put the bike in my car - white glove service. They offered a discount on clothes with the purchase of the bike - not sure if this is everyone or just a deal they had going. Bottom line - super friendly, knowledgeable and offer exceptional service with a large inventory. read more
