This is a great place to come to get your shopping fix. Firstly it's easily accessed off the M40, making it a shortish drive from Birmingham, London and in and around the Chilterns. Now that they have built the multi-storey bit of the carpark, parking is relatively easy, although first thing in the morning is always the best time to find a convenient space.
The layout is along a central spine, with a small square in the middle, and another at the end furthest from the main part of the carpark. It's not covered, so can be chilly in the winter, particularly if the wind is blowing up or down the spine. However, the shops are close together, so it's just a case of dashing from one to the other.
There is a mixture of fashion, home accessories, jewellery and accessories, menswear and food outlets. Brands range from the discount Books etc to mid-market Monsoon, relatively affordable designer such as DKNY, Nitya and the like to the more brace-yourself designer spends.
There is a Cath Kidston shop, L'Occitane, Molton Brown, Monsoon, DKNY, Tods, Nitya, Elle, Clarks, Timberland, Villeroy & Bosch, Links of London and Carluccio's deli to name a few. You'll also find a Pret A Manger, Starbucks, a snack shop and a restaurant attached to the Carluccios.
Sale time is fabulous, but I echo my earlier warning of going early in the day if you don't enjoy crowds! read more
