I have no comments about the owner's response. But, I do want to draw everyone's attention to 2 obvious points in the reviews: 1. The image that was posted on their social media(available in my review): They posted it on their instagram. You can see the burnt Tahdig and rices. Again, they posted it themselves. That is their "good" picture that shows the quality of their food. 2. The owner's reply to all negative feedback is "No, you are wrong"(please do look at them all). Just go through all the not so 5-star reviews to observe and analyze the way they listen to feedback and respect their customers. We could not recommend BiBi more highly for events/catering. We just had them do a 40-person outdoor reception on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle -- providing both appetizers and dinner. They were so communicative and responsive from the first time that we reached out in May, all the way through to the event in late August. They made great suggestions on the menu, even added in some items for free on the day-of, and delivered the food right on time an hour before the event with beautiful platters and other serving dishes. The food was spectacular -- breads, different types of hummus, kabobs, rices, some of the best roasted vegetable dishes we've ever had. We had at least 5 guests ask for their business card so that they could use them in the future. To top it off, the next day they even came into Seattle to meet us in a convenient location to exchange the serving platters, so that we didn't have to drive to Kirkland. Just amazingly nice and thoughtful people, and unbeatable food! We can't wait to use them again in the future. read more

Stumbled upon this place I would say it's lovely. And food is delicious!! Can't name what foods I got but It's all delicious and full of flavor. Best part is the Coffee. Hard for me to find Turkish Coffee that I love and they have just that. Will definitely be coming back for brunch. Oh and the little sweets they have are the cutest and delicious! read more

Very nice new Persian place in town. Buffet style but not all you can eat. $15 for one hot plate and one cold plate. Excellent flavors, and a decent variety. Since they are very busy preparing for a catering event, what was out wasn't as much as they usually do, but uniformly good. Tasty, well charred and not oily. Excellent Persian tea too! read more

AMAZING coming from an Iranian, this is the best Persian food in the area. Bibi is so kind and welcoming. We had cucumber yogurt and shirazi salad, chicken kabob and kabob koobideh, and delicious sholeh zard and Persian cookies. We will be back for sure! read more

All the dishes here are delicious with good portion sizes. My favorites were the appetizers including the hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel were so fresh and herby. It's unassuming and tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. Definitely a great experience for families. read more

The food is amazing, the spices are exotic, and the service is so friendly, that we felt like we were invited into the comfort of someone's own home and dining room! We had just about everything the buffet offers, in addition to the beef tenderloin kebobs (so tender, a fork can cut!). The food smelled and tasted so amazing, that we didn't even think of taking photos, until after the main course. Having never eaten here before I was looking for Persian/Middle Eastern food catered for a large group and came across great reviews for BiBi. I emailed and she was super responsive and flexible, and came through with delicious food. We ordered vegetarian food for 25 and it could have served 50! Every guest commented how great the food was - we get to enjoy so many leftovers and they are so fresh and flavorful. Especially enjoyed all the eggplant and cauliflower dishes! Oh WOW I didn't know what to expect because the hours were a little different and the location seemed underwhelming from the outside however, this is THE BEST Mediterranean cuisine I have ever had and considering that's my favorite type of food that's saying a lot! We got the we got the baba ghanouj chicken bowl, spicy shrimp, a traditional Iranian dish that was very sweet, but yummy and they even gave us almond cookies on the house and everything was absolutely incredible! I wish I could give zero. We ordered lamb kabob, which was chewy and tasted like unmarinated meat. We also got Eggplant Mirza, which did not taste bad but missed the egg. Their beet salad tasted good. I ordered fesenjoon stew, and it came with no meat. I asked them if it should have had chicken on it, and they said, "You should have added chicken!!!" It is like ordering butter chicken and then adding the chicken!! Fesenjoon's main ingredient is chicken. I asked to return it, and they told me we could fix it. After ten minutes, when the rice and stew were cold, they brought an unmarinated semi-raw chicken kabob!! I asked to talk to the owner, and this is the worst part of the story. They tried to justify and convince me I was wrong, but the woman was loud and rude!! She said "it is what it is!! I won't charge you for the fesenjoon", and I said it isn't a matter of money, and she said "yes, it is!!!" overall this is the worst experience I ever had in a Persian restaurant. read more

My new favorite Persian restaurant in the Seattle area! I'm a regular at the other Persian restaurants on the eastside and although I still love the others, I think Bibi tops them all. The meat is all organic and Bibi herself cooked for us. The chicken and beef were so tender and the roasted vegetables were so good. The eggplant and tadig were so good too. It looks like a lot of people do takeout but the interior is clean and modern with plenty of indoor seating. read more

I walked in this place without any expectation BUT this is THE REAL ONE. Bibi bowl with beef tenderoin I got was soso fresh and juicy and the portion was A LOT. The price was 18$ but it worth more than that I promise. The server a guy who wears glasses was so nice and kind, and I thought he was a owner but he is not. He gave me some desert (I guess it's healthy version of cookies) for free and it even takes SO GOOD as well as the bowl I got. That's a ridiculous response by owner . I had already purchased mine and the to go order at the same time . I didn't imagine that the ingredients were so gross that the grain of stone in my salad was not an exception but all over the rest of the food too. I wish I had returned the entire food. I will never set foot in this restaurant and will spread the word too . Terrible customer service and complete lack of care or a countability and wreckless food prep is the fact . And by the way, we have kept both the rock and the broken tooth and offered to show you if you are so much in denial . BiBi delivers on all accounts, the kabobs are fork tender, the rice is fragrant and soft. The beef is organic and sourced from Oregon. Second time my wife and I have visited. First time was for dinner and this time we brought the kids on the weekend for lunch buffet. The food is absolutely delicious. Bibi cooks better than my middle-Eastern mother-in-law, who cooks great. The food really tastes like a home cooked meal and each time we go, we find ourselves wondering why we don't go here more often. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are really well-balanced (in terms of spice but also salt, sour, sweet, etc.), and texture and consistency is spot-on (especially the meats)... But, it's the heart by which everything is made that makes all the difference. It's hard to explain how much the owner (Parvin) and her family (especially her son), make the experience worth the visit, choosing them to cater, or just takeout... If you have a special request or never heard of barberry and sumac, or just need advice on how to pair flavors so it's exactly what you want--they are so very gracious and patient... I placed an order for a belated Mother's Day. We order ghormeh sabzi, khoreshte bademjoon and Persian rice with potatoe tahdig. The lady who took my order was incredibly sweet and she even made an exception to make our order on a Monday which is when they're normally closed. Unfortunately, the quality of the was below that of exceptional. Ghormeh Sabzi - While lamb shank was cooked perfectly, the herbs were chopped in credibly large and hadn't stewed long enough making it bland and undesirable Khoresh Bademjoon - The eggplants weren't cooked properly and the khoresh was incredibly bland Persian Rice with Potatoe Tahdig - The rice was hard and undercooked and there wasn't any tahdig at the bottom rather there was just lumps of potatoes. She loaned us the pots and pans she cooked the food in for us and asked us to return them. When we returned them and brought up our concerns it wasn't taken well. She told us that this was the first time she received any complaints, she was disappointed at us for returning the pots late because she's been looking for them, she claimed that she told us that the rice needed further cook which I don't recall her telling me that. I was really looking forward to spending Mother's Day with two amazing mothers that have worked very hard. On this day, I really wanted to support local Iranian businesses and enjoy their creations around our family. There are countless reasons why some dishes come out undesirable and our goal were not to get a discount or our money back but rather raising these concerns to the owners so they can take this constructive criticism, use it to their advantage and grow as a business so we can continue to support them in the near future. Unfortunately, it wasn't well received. There is always room for improvement and constructive criticism shouldn't be taken personally. OH MY G-D Y'ALL. This gorgeous place is a must-try. Don't even read this review, just GO. NOW. Nonetheless, I need to gush about this slice of heaven: Upon walking in, the layout is open and modern, but not harshly so. I longed for a simpler, less pandemic-y time, and imagined eating in the adorable sunken dining area in front of those big, bright windows. Someday... I have to say, since I moved to Seattle from Houston, the food here has been largely mediocre -- huge prices, tiny portions, and criminally bland (I'm a food snob, what can I say?) This is NOT the case with BiBi. In the five years I've lived here, this is hands down my favorite restaurant. I'm a gluten-free vegan for health reasons, so restaurants are always tricky. The kind person who helped me order made certain that the vegetarian BiBi bowl I ordered wouldn't make me sick. Because of COVID, I didn't immediately get to see the treasure that awaited me...I opened the sizeable takeout container and it was BRIMMING -- I said  b r i m m i n g  --  to the very tippy top with the freshest, well-seasoned grilled veggies, salad, rice, hummus, and in-house pickled cabbage. The box was so full, it was heavy! The variety and crispness of the veggies was unlike any other place I've tried up here. I felt spoiled, y'all. It's like a farmer's market buffet in a box -- easily two meals, so don't think that the price per dish is like other skimpy Seattle restuarants where the portions are lacking. It's honestly a steal for the bounty and quality of food you get for the price. Another bonus: I was informed the ingredients are organic -- you can certainly tell from the quality of the produce! I somehow feel lighter after stuffing my face. Good food makes you feel good! I munched happily and decided that I needed more of those perfectly grilled veggies, so as soon as my friend and I finished lunch, we parted ways and I walked immediately back to BiBi to get my fix. (I also wanted to get my dear lady her favorite Mediterranean dish, lamb kebab.) I admitted to my new friend behind the counter that I didn't eat meat so I wasn't sure what doneness lamb usually is, especially because it had to be reheated later -- they totally understood and gave me advice on how to correctly reheat the delicate, Oregon-imported lamb so it wouldn't become a chewy disaster in the microwave (pan sear, folks!). They were so generous; unprompted, they gave me more of that delicious rice and provided me with a big container (not one of those pathetic little salad dressing containers!) of tahini sauce to go with my off-menu request of "a huge thing of those grilled veggies that go with the BiBi bowl, please." 10 minutes and several containers later, my new best friend had to help me coax my now-inoperably heavy bag into another bag -- one bag could not contain the future feast. I had quite the spring in my step as I walked home with my delicious treats, onlookers be damned. It's been so long since I had restaurant food worth the price tag up here, so you know I've got to celebrate. As a vegan of 10 years, you know a restaurant is special when they can cook vegetables perfectly. There's a certain mastery in executing a veggie blend where each component is *perfectly* cooked and seasoned -- this is deceptively difficult and very few places can execute this correctly. I still can't cook squash right after all these years, but here there's onions, squash, many kinds of peppers, (and more!) harmoniously vibing together -- and not a single mushy or stringy bite to be found. Iconic. If the vegetarian BiBi bowl is this good, you KNOW everything else on the menu has to be outstanding and well worth every penny. The culinary mastery that is evident in these dishes make BiBi a must-try. I'm sure you'll be instantly hooked, just like me! (Is this the first time I've eaten here? Yes. Did I buy 4 dishes, 2 for myself in the same day from here?...Yes. Do I have any regrets? Only that I didn't order the beets.)
