    Pancakes con frutti di bosco

After almost a week in Italy, us silly Americans finally stumbled upon a non-traditional Italian breakfast. I dined on the Pancakes con frutti di bosco and ate every, single bite of those deliciously fresh fruits and polished off the sweet, powdery pancakes. Who puts fresh hot chocolate, whipped cream, and syrup on their pancakes? I DO now! What an incredible brunch! I highly recommend this to tourists!

Great gelato and WiFi. Beautiful spot and family friendly. Chocolate pistachio and hazelnut gianduia were insane. Jet black also really good unique flavor. I am Team Bianco Latte.

Loveeee this place. Went here twice when I was in Milan. The vibes are so cute, food is delicious, and staff members are so friendly. I got the carbonara pasta and a prosciutto crepe here and they were both chefs kiss

    Excellent service and friendly staff.

    Morocchino

Came here on a Monday afternoon and chose one of the tables in the dining area. I ordered a morocchino and my girlfriend had a matcha latte. My sweet tooth got the best of me, and we shared a "lattino pistacchio" (a type of pudding with pistachio cream in the center and diced pistacchios on top. I can't get enough of the pistachios!) The ambiance is relaxed--there was a gentleman working on his laptop at one of the corner tables and another having a business conversation. The waitress and cashier were polite and brought us our food without much delay. The restroom was clean enough; it seems that restaurant restrooms in Italy aren't as ornate as those in America. It's a nice cafe/eatery in downtown Milan and I'd be happy to come here again and try out more of their desserts.

Enjoying two scoops o' yummy in the gellataria portion of the restaurant.

I went here twice on my visit to Milan. The first time was a gelato emergency. I had a two scooper and one of their delicious bakery cookies. I was served with a smile and it was gelato, after all, so it's hard to screw it up! We decided to go back for a meal because we were sucked in by the adorable decor and cute shop out front. We waited quite a while to get in and the line up seemed haphazard, but once we were seated and had a glass of wine we began enjoying ourselves. My mom and I each ordered gnocchi - mine was pomodoro and hers was "basil cream" (pesto cream). The plan was to share but hers won the taste-off so I had to beg for bites. The pomodoro version was a little tomato-pasty rather than tasting of fresh tomatoes. The pesto was pretty solid though. Gelato made the meal again. So I'd say this is worth a stop for the ambience and some fun, gorgeous desserts, but the hassle for the sit down wasn't necessarily worth it. Two stars for the restaurant, four for the gelattaria.

Delightful lunch service with carbonarra, gelato, and cappuccino.

Nice little lunch spot convenient to Central Station (about a half mile south). Quick stop for pasta and sandwiches at lunch with Gelato for dessert (of course). Would definitely go back. Meals come served on charming trays and Gelato is served with a side of fresh whipped cream and dark chocolate sauce. If you like ice in your soda you'll need to ask as they only bring bottles and the glasses are already on the table. The carbonara was perfect, and the pasta tasted home made. The chicken Milanese was only Luke warm, and not particularly special but the delicioso (ham wrap) was fresh and flavorful.

This is the perfect place for breakfast. Variety of coffee drinks and pastries to start off the day and great prices too (€1.50 cappuccinos). They also have a cute little shop inside the restaurant full of different kitchen items, from decorative to edible. Was so impressed with their breakfast decided to try it for dinner one night and this experience was a bit disappointing. My meal tasted like they just poured a can of tomatoes on top of some pasta and warmed it up. It had no flavor what so ever! My friends had ravioli and pesto pasta which I tasted. Theirs were much better than mine but still nothing worth bragging about.

Fried chicken. Looks like a small plate but you will get a food coma if you eat everything they give you

The ice creams are really delicious. Recommend it without moderation. But... The service and ambiance are like the cream: ice-cold.

So good!! Clean, bright corner shop with an outdoor patio you can sit and enjoy your treat (if you…read morecan find a spot). Pay up front at the register then take your receipt to the counter where they will fulfill your gelato dreams. ;P Prices were good too (considering we paid a Euro more for a smaller "piccolo" cup on the Main Street around the corner) especially given the higher quality treat at this place. Our two scoop piccolo cups and cones cost us 4 Euros each and they are generous with the scoops. I got their specialty pistachio and coffee flavors and oh wow!!! My son got the lemon and watermelon and those were both really tasty too. Husband chose the Dubai chocolate and cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed those. We can't wait to come back again tomorrow and the next day!!

Vanilla Gelati Italiani is near the Duomo in Milan -- very convenient if you're wandering around…read morethe cathedral and need a cold reward. They make their gelato with quality ingredients and classic Italian technique, and they've got all the flavors you want, from pistachio and hazelnut to refreshing fruit and even vegan options. The shop itself is simple, with a few spots to sit outside if you snag (but outs table service) for easy people-watching in the heart of the city. It's great on a hot day after exploring the Duomo area. I'd recommend it as a quick sweet stop, great flavors, a friendly vibe, and to take a breather to cool off with something delicious.
