A friend and I reserved a couple of spots in the salt cave to meditate and relax before dinner. It wasn't quite the experience we were hoping for. On arrival, 15 minutes before the session, the front office area was somewhat chaotic with staff + owner hurriedly putting up oversized holiday decor with a 15 foot ladder in the entryway. It felt like an odd time to do that when clients were coming in for a restful experience. Check-in was seamless and easy, though. Staff were all very friendly. As I settled in to prepare for the session, there was a lot of noise from the check in area that distracted from the initial experience. When the salt cave session started, it was again difficult to relax as the motor that generates the NaCl aerosol into the room was making quite a racket. I finally got up to let the staff know, but they said that's just the way it is. This wasn't relaxing white noise. This sounded like a belt on a motor that was at its end. It was very distracting and made it difficult to enjoy the experience. When the session time was up, a staff member abruptly opened the door and announced the session was over, and to leave quickly so the next session could start. (!?) I'd like to suggest incorporating a chime or gong into the sound system or have a staff member use a chime to gently bring clients back to awareness (if they were able to block out the motor noise). Overall, the salt cave is gorgeous and absolutely has a grounding presence, but some of the interactions were really clumsy and distracted from the potential of what this experience could be. I also found all the products for sale (crystals and essential oils) and plastic oversized holiday decor as indicators that this is more likely a commercial venture than holistic healing. That's fine, but be advised.

I've been attending classes regularly since November, and I highly recommend Mindpose…read more -kind, friendly teachers. I'm substantially larger than pretty much everyone in the studio, but the instructors are kind and welcoming, and offer alternative poses when I'm unable to get into the first option. -excellent instruction; I have seen huge improvement in my ability to get in to poses that were challenging when I first started coming, and that's because of the great cuing by the teachers. One experience that stands out was a slow (endurance-based) class taught by Nic, the owner. He cued it in a way that made me feel grounded and centered, and better able to balance by the end of the class. It felt like a huge stride forward in my practice. -I've also spent a lot of time in classes taught by Laura and Adam, who are fantastic; I love their wise insights and their encouragement, as well as their expertise. Each class is different. I feel more able to handle my life during this time (I'm writing during the pandemic) because of yoga. -They offer free beginning classes Monday nights--I took one to start with because I had never done heated yoga before. I'm used to the heat now. -I've attended their slow class, which is an endurance based flow; their flow class, which works up to a breath to movement pace; Root, which is a sequence of poses repeated the same every time; and their deep class, which is a relaxing yin yoga class. So glad they are here! Yoga is getting me through the pandemic.

I am so happy there is a place in Lindon, close to home that offers yoga classes. I went this…read moremorning to the free yoga class at 9 am to try it out. Amanda was very friendly, greeting everyone as they arrived. Anyone who didn't register online, was asked to fill out the waiver on the iPad. Since I registered earlier I only needed to check myself in. They have a couple areas with black storage containers to place your belonging. They lock the doors while yoga is in session so no one can come in, but you can leave if needed. It was nice that she told us to pick up a couple blocks and strap as you walked into the class. It was a 60 minute FREE mindpose SLOW class in a heated room. It filled up quickly and started promptly at 9 am. The music was a little loud at first, but someone asked her to turn it down so we could hear her since the room was full. Loved the class; however, there was one set that by the third pass at the moves it was way to fast for me to follow since it's been years doing yoga. I wasn't able to follow, except the first two and end poses. Other than that, I was able to hold the majority of the poses and I loved the leg stretches towards the end. I'm hoping to go to this one a week to help with my running and mountain biking. The class ended with a nice cool towel with a slight lemon scent that was placed on your forehead or your shoulder.

I came to Karve wanting to be more toned, become strong but not bulky, get better posture, and to have a workout that challenges me without being high-impact or rough on my joints. All of those wishes have come true with Karve, and I have lost extra weight as well. It has also significantly increased my core strength-- it shows in the way I do other exercises, my posture, and how my clothes now fit better. Every day is a little bit different and each instructor has their own teaching style, so the workouts are never repetitive. The environment is so supportive and I always look forward to seeing familiar faces in class. I drive all the way from Provo to Lindon to attend these classes because they are simply that stellar. The owner Brooke is also really nice and she has done an incredible job creating the perfect workout environment.

However, I will say that the number of calls, texts and voicemails you get from them are quite bothersome. They kept trying to contact me to signup for a membership, and even wanted me to confirm that I'm coming to my class even after signing my waiver. It was a little too much and overwhelming for me. Their price is around $200/month for unlimited Pilates. They also offer other options for payment. One which is $89 for 4 classes. Also, don't forget your initial enrolment fee that costs like $140?! I'd say this is quite expensive as a workout, but if you're really invested in Pilates, it might be worth it!

When it first opened, it was fantastic -- welcoming staff, community events, clean facilities, and a great overall atmosphere. Since the new owner took over, everything has gone downhill. There is rarely any staff present, making it nearly impossible to bring guests or get assistance when needed. You can't purchase merchandise or basic items anymore, which shows a clear lack of basic operational effort. Multiple pieces of equipment are broken and remain unrepaired, and the facility itself is noticeably dirty. It feels neglected and poorly managed. It's obvious that there is little to no pride or care being put into this business anymore. I can no longer recommend this location to anyone. It's truly sad to see what was once a great gym deteriorate so badly. At this pace, I would honestly be surprised if this location is still open a year from now. Update 4-12-2026 Still no staff getting worse, still broken equipment and supper dirty!!! Notes ask for someone to reach for weeks!
