Mountain West Pilates is such an incredible studio. I have been on a health journey and wanted to get back into Pilates Reformer and the first class there was with Eileen and I loved her class so much I ended up getting in touch with the owner Camie and did a membership for 4 classes a month. 1 class later which was one of my friends Jaidyn (ps her classes are killer & my personal favorite), Cory's classes are killer as well!! I ended up going unlimited and have been there since. I love the space Camie has created the atmosphere, teachers, students how everyone there is on there own journey and at there own pace. Plus there is fitness classes on the other side of the studio my favorite is Ariel Yoga and the teacher Cristina is so awesome. There are other classes like Mat Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Dance & TRX they even occasionally do sound baths and fun challenges. If you have been wanting to give Pilates a try I highly encourage you to check out MWP the progress I have seen in my body in the past 4-5 months has been insane. Never thought I'd be old enough to leave a review about "finding community" but here we are. I work from home for myself and during the pandemic many of my friends moved away. It's hard to meet people and build friendships when you're in your thirties, but it's not when you go to Mountain West Pilates. The studio owner has fostered an environment of acceptance for self and others, where never have I felt an ounce of judgement from anyone. Additionally, my core reason for going, which was to get back into shape for the sake of my physical, mental, and emotional health, has been fulfilled to the nines. There are so many different classes to choose from and a variety of top notch instructors who pay attention and care just as much about your fitness as you do. Going to class is my favorite part of my day most days. But Mountain West Pilates reaches beyond a warm welcome and an array of fantastic workouts. The community, the classes and instructors here at Mountain West Pilates are incomparable. It says a lot about a business when as a client you decide to work there. Camie has inspired me to take a path I had no idea I wanted to take. I couldn't ask for a better person to help me on my journey to lifelong movement & strength. I've never had an enjoyable time in group classes but this place has changed my life and mind. I love the instructors they help you feel seen and strong. The owner is the nicest person I've ever met. Clean and Beautiful Studio with friendly and personable instructor. Normally I'm a cardio junkie but when I treat myself to some Pilates my body thanks me by minimizing my overuse injuries.
