My daughter was part of the showcase last year, and it was such an amazing experience. Everything was so beautifully done, organized, and professional, and seeing her up on stage was so special! Becky is absolutely wonderful, and we have loved every teacher we've had. They are so patient, encouraging, kind, and genuinely care about the kids. My daughter looks forward to going to ballet every week, and I love seeing how much her confidence has grown along with everything she is learning. The owner is also incredibly sweet, professional, welcoming, and always so polite. You can tell how much love and effort goes into the studio and creating a positive experience for both the dancers and their families. We felt welcomed from the very beginning, and after two years, I can confidently say we've found our forever dance studio! We are so happy to be part of the Stage Door family and can't recommend them enough!

Unfortunately, I had quite a negative experience with Tania at A Place To Grow Preschool. My son…read morewas "kicked out" after only 2 days of being at the preschool from essentially acting like a normal 3 year old. Yes, 3 year old kids can be nightmares (and mine is no exception), but receiving a TEXT from the teacher saying he couldn't return after only 2 days seems absurd. I asked her if he could have another chance. NO. I asked if I could observe the class and his behavior. NO. I asked if there was anything else I could do because I had to work from home and I depended on those 3 hours to get work done. NO. My experience with the school was entirely unprofessional and disappointing. There was ABSOLUTELY clear favoritism shown to some students versus others when I would drop off and pick up, which was very frustrating to see. A side note: Children often act out when they feel uncomfortable or unsafe in a situation. Obviously I wasn't there during the class, but I think that is something to think about when choosing a preschool for your own child.

My daughter was incredibly excited to begin therapy here. She attended for several months, during…read morewhich her therapist repeatedly canceled her appointments the same day they were scheduled to occur. Of course, the inconvenience this posed to both my daughter and myself was never considered. However, when our family suffered a sudden death, and my daughter needed a same-day cancelation, this organization hit her account with a $75 charge. Policy or not, this is bad business practice and goes against everything this company claims to stand for. We expected understanding. We expected support. Instead, it was all about the money they felt they were out. This also happened to be the time my daughter let them know she would be discontinuing therapy at Courage Reins because she felt they were not adequately paying attention to or addressing her mental health needs. While we were told repeatedly this charge would be refunded, it was not, and both our calls and e-mails were ignored. Never mind the likely thousands of dollars they billed our insurance, they felt entitled to an additional $75 as a punitive measure when our family suffered a loss we could not have anticipated. Beware. They pretend to care about the mental health of their clients, but it's really all about their bottom line.
