The play, cast, crew, and gorgeous new facility did not disappoint. The seats were extremely comfortable and spacious, which isn't always the case at many Broadway theaters. From the entrance way to the stage, everything was planned out really well in look and feel with a lot of attention to detail to make the venue special. The play itself was outstanding. The cast and crew were amazing and the intimate feel of the theater size and seating made us feel like we were sitting on the 50 yard line (even though we were slightly up on the second floor). I am a huge fan and I've only been once so far with my three-year-old daughter. But compared to…read moreanother dance school we've experienced, it was like night and day. The three-year-old class had ballet bars set up in the center of the room at the perfect height for those little girls. The class size was small (about 7) with two teachers. Each girl received individual attention while the instructors worked on their steps. Parents remained outside the room with only a small, one-way mirror to observe the class. Even during shoe changes, we weren't allowed in. I was way okay with that! The instructors made sure the girls had their tap shoes on and tied before starting the second half of class. Along with cute foam circles to make sure each girl had her own spot along the bar or along the side of the room and personal instruction, there was a time for some free dance with the lights dimmed and small sparkly tree branches to hold and twirl. It was awesome! You can tell Jennifer Hansen is serious about her academy and her dancers. We are loving it!

They don't keep accurate schedules (we've shown up multiple time only to find out the class times had changed). They don't bill timely or correctly. No matter who you speak to they love to express frustration and blame someone else (usually the owner, which is probably correct). Frankly I don't know why someone with a first grade education and some basic communication skills doesn't hire a few dance instructors and put them out of business. We are done with it.

The teachers are amazing everybody that works there has been nothing but kind to us. It feels like a family. We used to belong to a different dance school and we were not treated well. So it's nice to be at this dance school where we are treated like a family it means the world to us and our girls are very happy.
