I've debated writing a review since the tile work was completed in Dec 2025. We ultimately feel the…read morejob was done poorly and Aldo was very reactive, making communication difficult. He never once stepped foot in our home and the project was a complete headache for us. 2 installers were initially sent to do the job, they ran into hiccups and got behind on their timeline so another person was added to the job who was far from detail oriented. Then the job became a rush effort and the results shows. Tile spacers weren't used so grout lines are inconsistent with a variety of spacing, grout was poorly completed leaving some large gaps along the perimeter, some missed areas and multiple stains where tile was ineffectively cleaned before it was sealed. They installed tiles with chipped corners in highly visible areas while there was plenty of extra tile to work with, and the tiles are far from level. Yes, it's natural stone, we understand there are natural variations in tile thickness but a skilled installer would have done much better work. It's really a shame, and a very costly one. Aldo sold me on his expertise and being "the best", with his hard sell strategy - which should have raised a cautionary flag. Any questions I raised during installation or concerns I had turned into a heated discussion and being told I should do the job if I know so much about how it should be done. His bid was very detailed with numerous bullet points identifying each step that would be taken from demo to completion. If I asked why a step was skipped or appeared to be incorrect it would result in a wound up and defensive argument with him. He also stated that the bid is written with AI, so "there's extra details that aren't necessary". Really?! Then edit the bid before you send it along. So, here we sit with a forever floor that cost over $30k for apx 800sf - plus $3000 in electrical work for the heated floor thermostats, and we are deeply disappointed. We're stuck with it and what seem to be a few "f-you" tiles that are so obviously installed for a good toe stub - in very high traffic areas. (I guess that's how the installers say "f-you" without saying it.) I don't recommend this company. They got paid in full and we got a subpar floor.

Very disappointed with the end result!! Things started off fine but when it came time to install…read morethe tile everything went downhill. Couple tiles were not set properly - shower wall one tile protruding out and on the floor tile uneven height. There was not enough grout on the shower floor or the actual floor you could see the holes in it. We also had a shelf put in and everything they did looked sloppy!! Complained about the work and they sent someone to fix it. They did replace one floor tile and put more grout to cover the protruding tile did not fix but put a bandage on it. The guy that came to fix the problems did not fix everything. My husband had to grout the shower floor and floor himself because he did not want them back in our home. The guy that came to fix all the problems did not protect the new tile floor and just put the broken up tile and mortar right on top of new floor. Then he used our snow shovel to pick up the debris , yes that is right a snow shovel on our brand new tile floor!!!

First we hired Best to fix a cracked water seal pan in the upstairs standup shower...they fixed it to perfection while completely rebuilding the shower, the tiles, and the pipes. This time - we hired Best to do a complete bathroom renovation... I just continue to be blown away by the owner - Steve Best. His communication is what sets him apart from every other contractor. He's basically a customer's dream to partner with on a project. Rebecca at the office emails you for the admin side - keeping aligned with updates and transactions. Steve texts/calls you almost daily with the gameplan, the strategic approach, the agenda and schedule. I'm so thankful because unlike most contractors, Steve keeps everything on schedule - running daily - and makes sure his team gets to the finish line efficiently, quickly, and to satisfaction. Steve's crew works every day...and they put in a full day's work. They don't leave you hanging, they don't ghost you for days upon weeks without explanation and they NEVER leave a mess. They work super clean and always pickup after themselves. They start the job. They work at the job every day. They finish the job. All along the journey you're clued in, you're given timelines and reasoning...and you're a part of a collaboration with Steve to make sure the job gets done right! If there were a grade higher than A+ ...that's what I'd give Steve and his crew. HIRE THEM ASAP, you'll have zero regrets!

They followed through with what they said they'd do, were timely, reasonable costs and great work! Both bathrooms look gorgeous. Steve is a knowledgeable, helpful and friendly contractor. They know tiling for sure. We were able to buy material from wherever we wanted but if we needed recommendations they would always have them. We really have no complaints at all, we'd absolutely use them again.

The craftsmanship is flawless, every detail was done with precision, and the finished product completely transformed my kitchen. It looks even better than I imagined! Dave was wonderful to work with. He took the time to help me with every selection, answered all of my questions, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. I never felt rushed, and his attention to detail and commitment to making sure everything was just right really stood out. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and took great pride in their work. They kept everything clean, communicated throughout the project, and made sure every detail was perfect before they finished. I am beyond thrilled with the results and can't stop admiring my new kitchen every time I walk into the room. If you're looking for a company that truly cares about quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction, Cobalt Flooring is the one to call. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would!

We were shown samples of Mohawk carpet at our house and we chose "Homefront 3" (the highest quality) but we were deceived and forced to accept an inferior quality but same color carpet to be installed. We also asked them verbally and in writing many times to bring the same samples shown to us before at our house along with the carpet we chose to be installed first before the installation so that we can match what we chose and we would be getting, but this highly rude owner (David Simon) of this company not only refused to do so as per agreement but also compelled us to come to his showroom again and see the sample and the carpet there which made no sense because he could have shown us any thing to there which did not mean that we would be getting the same carpet we chose to be installed at hour house. But having no choice and paying half money in advance in cash (he preferred to be paid by cash) we went to his showroom and he showed a small (about 8X10 feet) piece of carpet of the same color with no manufacturer's specification on it which seemed lesser in thickness and quality, so we refused to accept it. At that point he started yelling at us and he was very disrespectful with my wife. When we demanded our money back, not only he refused to do so but also challenged us to do whatever we can. We left his showroom with disappointment and regret why we chose to do business with this company. Having no choice again, we decided to accept the inferior quality carpet he was trying to sell. So, my wife called him to agree with him, but at this point he was more ruder and dictatorial and said that he does not trust us (we are senior citizens) and if we have to install the carpet I do not know when it would be installed but if we agree to do so. you have to pay the remaining half money in advance in cash. This was another violation of the sales agreement (by way the the sales agreement this company wrote for us without our consent has no terms and conditions on it in case either party defaults or want to cancel or to seek amendment in it). We felt like a hostage at this point and kept thinking what to do to get out of this enforced mess on it. Finally we requested an attorney from a church to seek help. This attorney is a nice man but very old and retired an we did not know his license was inactive and not able to take this company to court. He was of no help and for some reasons spoke in favor of this mighty company and told us to avoid being sued by this company. Now it is more than two months this company is not only holding our money illegally but demanding more money and threatening to sue us because he knows it is going to cost us more to go to court, and when as matter of fact neither this company ever delivered and installed the carpet we chose at our house nor even followed the flawed sales agreement it wrote for us. For some reasons there are many reviews in favor of this company but please read the reviews of a few victims of this company specially when it comes the review Ms. Nancy S. She faced the same what are being made to suffer.
