The week before our wedding, hurricane Dorian hit the Outer Banks. The bad weather didn't once stop them from communicating with us and held a positive attitude about making our dream wedding happen. Tony was willing to meet us at our beach house since our scheduled meeting wasn't able to happen due to the island still being evacuated. We did a quick rehearsal and Tony answered all of our questions. The day of the wedding went smoothly with no bump. We also had their team provide lighting for our backyard and received so many compliments! His crew had the lights up early in the day which made it easier for all of us to finish our decorating. Everyone apart of the I Do OBX team was amazing to work with. Our arch was stunning and I still look at pictures of it! Thank you all for all of your hard work! It's truly a hidden gem tucked away in the edge of the water. To start, parking was easy and we grabbed a spot right near the door. Follow the road until the edge of the water and the restaurant is tucked right there. It's nestled at the edge of the marina which provides some great views while you're enjoying your meals. The menu is simple but each meal has its own flare - the southern vibe is present and done really well. We started with fried green tomatoes and the corn dip - both of which we slammed before I could even catch a picture. From there, we had tacos with the fish of the day (tuna), the French dip and the grilled cheese. Everything was amazing and perfectly crafted with care. We loved that the tacos were assemble your own too which was an added bonus. The sweet potato fries were also some of the best I've had and are made with fresh potatoes. Our server was kind and attentive throughout. She gave great insight to the menus and helped us select our choices. We also ran into the owners closer to the end of our meal and they were beyond kind. It's clear that this is a family run and deeply cared for place. All that love shines through in everything they craft. This place is a gem and a must go. We'd be back frequently if we lived closer!!

The entrance and location is a little deceiving being hidden away in a condo building with limited/ restricted parking. After being greeted by the host we were directed to the second floor, where a beautiful, well lit seating area could be found. We were placed at a table directly against a large wall of windows with a beautiful view. Menu was extremely limited due to the time of day we went (3:00-4:00pm) but there were still options. We didn't find anything that peaked our interested as is. But made a couple requests to sub proteins out or drop an ingredient and were met with nothing but grace from the server. Was happy for the challenge and they delivered! Food came out very quick and tasted fantastic. I ended up getting the "shrimp and grits" subbed the shrimp for chicken and found it to be very fresh, bold, and flavorful. Overall very happy with our experience here. Only negative was a very large/ noisy party of 13 that sat next to us, but that is of no fault to the restaurant or their staff.
