My daughter with special needs has been going to Beyond Speech Therapy for almost 3 years now and I'm so happy with the services she receives. She receives speech therapy and occupational therapy and we Are so pleased with how far she has grown. The Therapists are very knowledgeable and helpful whenever I have a question. This place is completely unorganized, just when I think it can't get any worse it does. Don't get me wrong, the speech pathologist my son did have was great but the office personnel can't get there stuff straight. For months they were charging me incorrectly and continuesly kept over charging, forgetting I had already made payments. Then I got smart and started noticing the trend and started making notes in my calendar. When they would tell me I didn't make I payment I would have to do a little research and show I did. In the end I had over $250 worth of credit from overpayments and my co pay was only $45. Them not keeping track of payments continued for a while until one day I changed my insurance which completely covers the payment and I had not had any issues after that. Unfortunately one day my sons speech pathologist put her two weeks in. I was told I would get a call once they hired someone. Didn't receive a call for months so I called in and they told me the hired someone but would call me next week to set dates. Got a call and was told that they no longer had a 5pm slot available. I told them that was fine I would take the latest they had but if one of the other speech pathologist opened up for a 5pm slot I would like to take it. They said it was fine and would put me on the list. Then I asked what day would he start and I was told that I would get a call in February once they had worked out the schedule. Meanless to say I never got a call this month so I called today and they told me they gave my slot away cause I asked for a 5pm only!!! I swear these people can't keep track of ISH. I'm extremely pissed off. read more

We have had very positive, professional experiences at Beyond Speech Therapy. The office is clean, friendly, and communicative, Katie Rausch(speech therapist) is knowledgeable, effective, and great with kids! (As a former schoolteacher & parent volunteer, I can spot this ability well.) Our son had trouble with "r" and BST helped him self-correct in just a handful of sessions. Beyond Speech Therapy is a great business. They bill insurance for their families. Many businesses have stopped providing a insurance billing service because it is difficult to deal with, many businesses just give their patients super bills to send into the insurance company themselves. The people at Beyond Speech Therapy are supportive and caring. We are always greeted with a smile. But the most important thing they have done for us is to treat our Grandson; in just 3 years they have brought him from basically speaking unintelligible to speaking clear enough for a stranger to know what he is saying. Beyond Speech Therapy has been the best thing for our daughter. She has been going for a little under a year, her speech has improved tremendously in that short time. Katie (Miss Katie) has been a blessing to our daughter, you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and her job. You can tell her passion is her job and she puts her heart into that. My husband has been going to Beyond Speech for about 1 1/2 years. I can't say enough about how kind his Therapist (Caroline) is. April (the owner) is always in his corner & works hard to make sure he is getting the proper & best care. The front desk staff is also so helpful & friendly. my review from 6 months ago was this: 9/2019: Always having issues with their billing system. more than once we have gotten a$1200 bill dropped on us. Their excuse was "this is for what the insurance has not covered". 1: we met our deductible in March ( its September) 2: our bill was $0 at the beginning of the year. 3:we would have to go to speech for two months before our bill would be this high. so why were we not informed of this sooner? 4:when we need to talk to them about the bill they CHARGE us for a consultation to talk about a bill that they messed up on. i wanted to add an edit/update 3/2020: FIRST i would like everyone to know that this review has absolutely nothing to do with any of the SLP's that we have had. They all have been so amazing with our son. With the help of the pathologists here and school he has made amazing gains. the SLP's would get a 5 STAR! now it has come to my attention that this review looks as if i may try to cause problems. on the contrary, this review is in hopes that something will come about the poor billing department. maybe some better training? but i know that my family's not the only one with billing issues. and since September of 2019 we have had more billing Discrepancies. i can only hope that there will be better training or programming in the billing department in the near future. unfortunately because of all of this im going to have to give a 1 Star. if and when things change i will be Happy to bump up the stars. read more

Office staff has terrible customer service. My son was going two days a week for a month until i was told i couldn't take him during that time anymore. I made that clear when I signed him up it was the only time that I was available to take him since I work full time. I was told I would get a call when something was available again. It's been over a month now and he will have to completey start from scratch again. Thanks for nothing. read more

I had to submit a healthcare fraud report due to their billing. They have sent three invoices stating I owe $100's of dollars in co-payments. I showed them proof of payment with bank statements, however they would not accept this proof. I went ahead and paid for both statements, feeling very uncomfortable both times. I stopped going due to the bad billing and received another invoice for co-payments, yet again with same dates of services that were previously paid with the first two errors. I'm not sure if they are intentionally making these errors or not. However, I do have major concerns given that I did show them proof of payment and they did not accept it AND sent me another invoice stating I owe $105 dollar. I made our speech therapist aware of this and all the sudden my daughter is not in need of speech therapy anymore and is at age appropriate level. Very disappointing, considering this is the only speech around for our kids. read more

My two grandchildren had speech issues. One also has autism. The speech therapists guided them to 'connect the disconnect.' I had no idea that speech did not come naturally to a child. The therapists were so encouraging that all would be OK. One is now in kindergarten and the other is in preschool, both are interacting with everyone! I am so very grateful to the speech therapists in helping my grandchildren find their voice. THANK YOU! read more
