Every time I go to book an appointment I don't recognize any of the names. then when I go in for my services, I am overcharged and left with horribly executed nails and disappointing pedicures. I came here with my boyfriend as a surprise for out & I got a dip powder manicure and regular pedicure, he got a manicure and regular pedicure. When we first got there we felt so rushed. We were picking colors for me and we kept getting asked if we were ready to go to the back every 2 minutes. The pedicure was great! The women who did it were amazing and friendly. However, I'm not happy with my manicure. My nails are rough, uneven and not shiny at all. Usually when I get dip powder, they bring out drills to file the nail down and even them out but they used a normal file and did it by hand.. I feel like I would've been better off doing my nails at home. This salon is under new ownership! All previous reviews are for employees that are no longer at this business, as I found out today. I looked on their website to book an appointment, all the previous owner's employees are still listed for booking as of this review, as are some of the previous owner's prices. My appointment for a full acrylic set was scheduled for 1:00. The colors they had to choose from were sparse so I told the technician I would paint them myself, and asked for medium coffin shaped nails. One hour and four minutes later she is finally finished applying the acrylic powder. I had expect to be done with my appointment at this point. I'm looking at my nails, which are the wrong shape and extremely thick, and decide that I can't sit in their uncomfortable chairs any longer. I'm already going to have to fix my nails, let me pay for what she has done and go. I didn't complain, I told her that I couldn't sit any longer & wanted to pay. At which point she charges me $85, which I refuse to pay. I told her that isn't the price on the website, besides my nails look terrible. She calls the owner who quotes me $55, which is still not the price on the website, but at this point I just want to leave. I agree to pay the $55, but they now won't take my money until the owner arrives. I didn't have exact change so I couldn't just walk out. This employee held me hostage with the threat of calling police for nonpayment. So I call the police and explain that I am trying to pay but they won't give me change so I can't leave. The owner arrives before the police, at which point she explains that they she just bought the business and are having problems changing the website, as if that is my fault. She looks at my nails, see the pictures, and tells me that Miracle has only been doing nails for about a year and it takes her an hour and a half to two hours to do a set of nails. I WOULD NEVER MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR NAILS FOR TWO HOURS! I can do them myself in that amount of time. I am in tears, begging the owner to please let me pay, over and over so that I can leave. I just wanted to leave and it's like they wanted to fight with me. At this point I've been at the salon for an hour and half, I'm crying, my nails look like garbage, and the owner finally takes $55 and asks if I want her to finish my nails. Never did anyone apologize for the different prices, also they had no prices listed inside the salon. No one apologized for refusing to allow me to pay and leave yet threatening to call the police if I left and didn't pay. Save yourself time and energy, do not go to this salon. Look at my nails. We all know that no professional nail job should look like this at any point. Much less cost someone $55, an hour and a half, and tears. read more

I have been to Beyond nails multiple times and in the past the service and quality of services has been great! Recently it seems like they have hired new staff without training them properly. The past two time I have been in the technicians have forgot to do parts of the service, ie: today I asked for a manicure and the technician did not do the massage or wax. Be sure to read the 'menu' before they charge you for services they did not do. Both times the technician has done a non-existent to very poor job with the cuticle clippers. I was also charged for a third glass of the 'wine' without being told that was their policy. I was impressed when I first started coming here but it seems like the owners are not making sure the staff knows what to do. If I am going to pay $60+ dollars for mani/pedi I want a good quality experience. Probably will look for another salon. read more

Let me start by saying I am over the moon with my nails. I absolutely love them. Au is an exceptional business owner. The ambience was lovely. Relaxing. Even with my wait, which Au consistently apologized for, it was one of the most relaxing services I have ever had. Now on to my actual nails, it is hard to find anyone here in Little Rock that can do the latest trends. Not only did Au and her staff do it, but they hit it out of the ballpark. Reasonably priced for the level of work you're getting, a tad low in my opinion. Then throughout the service I was asked was everything okay and Au and Savannah listened. Perfect. The other technicians are just as good humored and hard working as the owner. They are also open later than some other places which is great if you can't make it in until 6 pm! I just got my nails filled at this place. First she burned me with the instrument and when I said something she blamed it on my nails being sensitive. I told her it was my skin that she hurt and she apologized. She left my nails entirely too thick. There is junk all underneath them. My hands are a mess from all the product she used on me. This is the best nail salon I have ever been to! (Have been to nail salons in at least 4 other states.) I live north of the river and drive to Little Rock for my pedicures at Beyond Nails & Spa because of the exceptional service, atmosphere, results, and value. When you walk in, there is a light, airy atmosphere that smells normal, not like a chemical company. Then you are greeted by the friendly owner (pronounced "Ow") or her equally friendly staff. Ow is an amazing businesswoman who knows how to make her customers feel welcome! She has a gift of remembering returning customers' names. During the greeting and station set up, you are offered a beverage, which is a classy touch. There are always plenty of staff and stations for pedicures, manicures, and gel nails. The pedicure stations have nice massage chairs. They use liners in the foot tub and everything is always very clean. It's also easy to get in and out, whether you have an appointment or not. (During peak times, I sometimes call to see how busy they are.) Either way, I always feel like I get VIP service at a reasonable price. The basic pedicure is the best basic one I've ever had, and the deluxe is super indulgent! (Y'all, your toes will look amazing and your feet and calves will feel and smell amazing after!) I have also had amazing manicures here, but I'm not so much into manis except for special occasions. How did I find out about the place? I talked a friend into going to a "posh" spa in west Little Rock to get pedis, and she wasn't happy at all with the service, quality, or price. She told me about Beyond Nails & Spa, and we went there the next time. I haven't been anywhere else since, and that was over 6 years ago!!! Have to give special commendation as to how kind and accommodating Ow and her staff have been to my beloved friend who is blind. They made her feel like a princess! Not happy with the outcome. I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes in here with my teen daughter getting pedicures by two girls that weren't Asian who had no idea what they were doing. They mixed up our polishes but we were so ready to get out it didn't matter. The polish job wasn't great. The massage wasn't great. The one girl didn't even know how to wrap the towel on the leg. I hesitate to write a negative review but I hope that the management will get the message and try to improve. I have been going here for years mainly for gel manicures. First, I noticed there is high staff turnover. Most of the nail techs there are quite young and some are inexperienced. The last time I came in I had a color in mind. It was a new-ish OPI color. Unlike most places, you can't pick a bottle or at least match a sample to a bottle. Here you are given a basket of colors on a "wheel of nails" to chose from. I showed the nail tech a picture of the color with the name from my phone. She looked perplexed and asked the owner who shrugged her off. Apparently they did not have it. I turned to the wheel and selected a color that I wasn't truly happy with. The past 4-5 gel manicures I received here peeled off in less than 5 days. The place is dark and seems dirty to me. They do not tell you to wash your hands before they add the base coat either. The place is always packed and the owner has a big personality, she's funny and I think he has a loyal fan base. I have just been disappointed here and I have since found a better salon in Little Rock. read more

As a man, my wife always tried to get me to go with her to get a pedicure. Well, for Valentine's Day she talked me into it. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but everyone there was nice and friendly, and they all worked so hard to make our time there enjoyable. They offered us drinks before they started. We had the deluxe pedicure for $40 and my wife said it was better than most of the others she has had, and at an excellent price. The deluxe was like the regular but also included a paraffin wax finish which was very nice. The place was clean and used plastic covers in their foot tubs, which was more sanitary in my eyes. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to get a manicure or pedicure, but please make sure to have plenty of time. We got the pedicures, and my wife got a manicure, and we were there for over 2 hours. Well worth the visit and prices. read more

We both got the deluxe mani pedi and it was amazing! For that, I would go back. They don't serve wine but they will let you bring in your own wine and that's really nice!
