I accidentally stumbled upon Beyond Chiropractic. What I found was a treasure! I went there for just back issues, but found relief for other problems too, my knee and hip ( old injuries from the past). I didn't give much thought to the name " Beyond Chiropractic," but now, I have experienced the concept as a patient. They go beyond just chiropractic services. I received massage, physical therapy, laser treatment, and other treatment modalities. Within a short time, thanks to the expertise of Dr Maryann, I feel great! Not only is she a skilled practitioner, but she also has excellent table side manners. She is kind, compassionate, and goes beyond expectations. For example, Dr Maryann asked me to take pictures of my workstation to evaluate my work environment. I was impressed! In this day and age, who does that? She did! I took the pictures, sent them to her, and she evaluated my environment. She made multiple recommendations, told me that I could be the "poster-girl" for what not to do in a workstation. She then walked me through the needed adjustments and instructed me to get an ergo evaluation from my worksite organization. The changes that she recommended on the spot brought immediate relief. I am also impressed with staff. They operate as a seamless thread. Everyone works well together. They are skilled, professional and concerned about their clients. It is apparent that they like their jobs. I must take talk about my massage therapist, Brandon. Over the years, I have had many massages. But never in my life have I had a therapist like him. Never! This guy is unique. He walked me through his massage process and told me that I would feel some pressure during the massage, but after the session, I would feel rejuvenated, revived, and alive. He did not lie. I felt like a spring chicken, and I could not believe it. I had a bounce in my step, and I felt invigorated and limber. My review of Beyond Chiropractic is long overdue. This is for the chiropractic services and the massages. I've been seeing Dr. Appleman for several months for chiropractic adjustments and have experienced a noticeable difference in my neck and back pain. He's super nice and takes the time to understand your lifestyle and day-to-day activities to help pinpoint problem areas. I've struggled with back pain for a years and seeing him regularly has really helped; I hardly ever have any of the pain or tension I had when we started. The "roller tables", as I call them (although I'm sure there's a more technical term), are also a nice feature I haven't seen at any other chiropractors I've been to. All in all, I've had good experiences with the chiropractic services here. Equally as good are the massages at Beyond Chiropractic. Initially I wasn't sure what to expect; I'd never gotten a massage at a chiropractic clinic before. But Vanessa is just amazing. She listens to where my problem areas are and only works on those, which I appreciate since getting those knots out requires the full session. She's capable of using very firm pressure (which I like) but she always asks to make sure it isn't too much. The only problem with Vanessa is just getting an appointment; I had a massage with her last week and when I went to book my next one she didn't have any slots until July! That's just a testament to her awesome skills though, everyone wants a massage from Vanessa. And of course I can't forget the receptionist - I'm pretty sure her name is Shawna, but I'm blanking right now and I feel bad because she is the sweetest. She's always been super helpful scheduling and rescheduling appointments, and she remembered me by name after only a few visits. She's a superstar receptionist. Honest review time! I had an appointment set up with Michael at 1pm. I didn't get called in til about 1:25. We talked for about 20-30 minutes which was very beneficial because he told me so many things I needed to hear about my body imbalances! He recommended so many great things for me to do. So I appreciate that! But wasn't really what I asked for. He worked on my tense neck and my right side which is my problem area and the massage was done. I looked at the clock and it was 2:15. Kinda sucks I was shortened 10 mins. If I go back I'd prefer just the massage instead because I coulda really used that more. If you do go, just make sure you're aware of this. And be sure to let them know it's not acceptable to talk most of the session. I kinda regret coming here. So deducted stars for length of massage and him being 25 mins late :(. By the way I forgot to mention I paid for a 1 hour deep tissue massage, and only got about 15 minutes massage time. read more

As a person suffering from chronic headaches and back pain, for years I have been on several pain and nerve medications. In my attempt to get off those meds as their side-effects are as bad as the pain they were treating, I sought out chiropractic treatment. Dr. John Appleman and his staff are wonderful and dedicated to helping people learn more about chiropractic benefits and getting people on the road to recovery! I went here because I had trouble with inflammation in the mid-back and lower back pain which sometimes made it difficult to get out of bed. The office is a complete physical therapy destination, which Dr. Mory combines with her own chiropractic techniques for long term recovery. The adjustments leave me feeling relaxed and the swelling in my mid-back has noticeably subsided since beginning my visits less than 2 months ago. I am now only feeling pain in my lower back when it's a day or two before my next appointment, as opposed to every morning as it was previously. Dr. Maryam is amazing (gentle yet firm and thoroughly explains her treatments) and the staff have been super friendly when I visit. I often have to bring my baby in-tow and everyone's been accommodating. If I could give Dr. Maryam six stars I would! I had a L4/L5 discectomy in 2013. Ever since have had aching pains in my lower back and could easily throw my back out. Most recently I had a pinching sensation in my lower left back due to throwing it out. I tried physical therapy twice with very little success and then I was recommended to see Dr. Maryam. For the past few years, my jaw has consistently bothered me due to TMJ. The last time I went to the dentist, they recommended I see a chiropractor and recommended dr. Mory. Since then, I have been coming in 2 times a week and have seen/felt significant improvements. Dr. Mory is kind and knows what she is doing. TMJ treatment is not fun, and is often painful and uncomfortable but the work I've had done so far has really helped me. My TMJ bothers me a lot less than it did in the past now. Dr. Maryam Noorivaziri literally straightened me out. I ignored an injury for over a decade that resulted in scoliosis. My whole body was crooked and she was able to fix me up! I had a groupon for a 60 min deep tissue massage. It was the best experience I've had. My massage was done by Michael!! Not only did he give a great massage but he educated me on my problems areas. I have sciatica issues as well as bursitis. He spent 15 mins going over ways to eleviate my problems but also suggested products that I could purchase to help with my issues. Michael has alot of compassion for his work, he likes to educate his patients. I've had alot of deep tissue massage but not with someone who actually cares for his customer. I went in to my appointment with tightness all around my neck/lower back/hamstrings and walked out feeling like a new man. Love this place! I have been living with really harsh and painful headaches for as long as I can remember. This review is for the massage only. The building is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The prices seem reasonable and you can schedule over the phone or online. My massage therapist, Anthony, was great. He was very nice and professional and made me feel relaxed and safe at all times. I had a 60-minute deep tissue massage and it was intense! I'm usually a little sore the next day after that type of massage and this one was no different. I told him I felt stiff from weight lifting and he worked all the right spots and helped stretch out some of my joints. Communication was great and I felt like I got the massage I wanted -- lots of pressure and focused on the areas I wanted. I'm a bit of a sucker for pain, though, so don't let my review worry you. I have suffered with chronic hip pain for a majority of my adult life. Sometimes it gets to the point where I can barely walk or do normal activities without sharp shooting pains. Dr.Baloyra gave me a neural scan and explained how your skeleton being out alignment presses on different nerves and cuts off blood flow to certain areas causing a huge array of maladies. Baloyra is very friendly and approachable, readily available to answer any question I have about how to maintain a healthy spine. Millie, the receptionist always has a smile on her face. I absolutely love this office and adore Dr. Mori!!! She has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions with my neck and shoulder tension spasm emergencies and overall has helped me to stay away from these with our maintenance adjustments with combo massage appts every month. Dr. Mori utilized many techniques for my adjustments and personalizes every persons treatment to their needs. She incorporates physical therapy homework as well to better prepare for the adjustments and make them last longer. I don't know what I would do without her care! I can't forget about Tracy! She has been the best massage therapist and even has also given me exercises to try at home to relieve some of my chronic tension so I don't fully rely on my massages to get me through. Unfortunately my tension is so chronic due to my commuting and career, but I have noticed since going every month for both an adjustment AND massage, I haven't had as much pain and tension in my problem areas. 10/10 stars if I could give them! read more
