The hummus with mushroom was also very unique, it tasted very earthy and balanced the pita very well, providing some chew and meatiness to the dish. The pide was also very nice and crispy, and you can taste each ingredient separately on the pide yet it all melds together with the fragrant spices combine it all. Service: There was plenty of seating available in the restaurant, and the people were all very friendly. As it was our first time, the server helped provide some recommendations and walked us through some favourites on the menu. The server was from Turkey and he had a bit of an accent which made me think the food would be a little more authentic. On the recommendation of the server I got the Cokertme Kebab. It doesn't quite look like it does in the menu picture but it was really good. The beef strips were well seasoned and tender. The yogurt complimented the beef very well and the chips added good texture. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Even amid a busy dinner rush, they were quick to greet us and seat our family without difficulty. That level of hospitality goes a long way, especially when you're traveling with hungry kids! I chose the Mixed Beef and Chicken Doner, and it hit all the right notes. The beef was wonderfully seasoned, with a subtle sear that provided depth to each bite, and the chicken was moist and soft. It was a big, satisfying supper served with fluffy rice, fresh salad, and warm bread that reminded me of meals I had in other countries. My wife and kids ordered the Chicken Adana Kebab, and they were equally impressed. The skewers were grilled to perfection, with just the proper amount of heat, and the serving sizes were large. Our server ensured that the spice level was appropriate for children while maintaining the flavor. We couldn't resist eating the Tres Leches dessert, and it was the ideal way to cap the lunch. It was moist, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet, making it one of the greatest we'd ever eaten, Turkish restaurant or not. Mama Fatma Turkish Cuisine has earned a spot on our go-to list for family dinners thanks to its outstanding service, delectable cuisine, and clean, pleasant ambiance. It's like a sampler plate that includes a variety of their signature dishes, allowing you to sample a little bit of everything. Personally, I found the portion to be generous enough for 3-4 people, unless you have very good appetites or are prepared to take home leftovers. Their kebabs are bursting with flavor. They grill them with lamb oil or lamb fat to enhance the taste. The beef doner and chicken were tender, juicy, and well-marinated, while the lamb chops were perfectly cooked. The mini pides looked cute. As for drinks, I tried the Doğanay Şalgam. This salty turnip juice has a unique flavor profile; it was quite an interesting experience for me as I had never tried salty juices before. In fact, it's the kind of taste you might find yourself becoming obsessed with. Although the restaurant is located in an ordinary plaza, the interior is spacious and decorated in authentic Turkish style. This is a meal that I've been thinking about since last night... but not really in an ideal way…read more Yes, it was good, but mainly because of how shockingly expensive it was. I'm conflicted because the food and service were great so I can't be complain about any of that. I came with 2 friends and we wanted a variety so we settled on the mix grill platter. The menu options only offer a 2 and 4 person platter, but our server told us they could make one geared for 3 people so we decided to go with that. It came with a salad and fresh bread to share. The meats were tender and juicy. Everything was really flavourful. I enjoyed the food. The server was also really helpful with answering any questions we had. But the bill came and I was shocked. It came out to $59.99 per person after tax and tip to split the platter 3 ways. Quality was pretty decent but the portioning of it does not justify the price. Next time if I were to return, I'd probably just get my own dish... the platters present that "wow" favour but they're pricey. I get that there's quite a bit of protein but there are other things I'd rather get for that hefty price tag. I don't think it would be fair to leave a lower rating solely due to the value aspect because the food was yummy and all other factors such as environment and service were satisfactory... but for me the value weighs heavy in my priorities and I feel the cost of the platter is too high, as good as it is.
