I like the salon because they are one of the few in my neighborhood open on Sundays. I have been here 3× and two out of the three times have been less than mediocre. I hate to say race is factor but it definitely the situation here. I waited over 40 minutes to be serviced and within this timeframe there were two clients that had two technicians working on them at the same time. I got my nails done last Monday, the nail technician was sweet and gentle however on Tuesday I had to go back to get one of the nails fixed. With gel manicures I expect them to last close to two weeks. It was not a good sign when the next day I had to go back because they had chipped. They fixed the nail for me and on Saturday I had to come back again because another nail chipped. Today is Monday exactly one week and last night another nail chipped. Not only that my nails took over 2 hours. So today I have an appointment at another . Paying and tipping over twenty percent I expect them to last. Ruby does a great job but I can never get an appointment and when I do, they don't show or call you to let you know they won't be there. Hands down, the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any salon but I continue to go there because they are close and Ruby is good. I needed a quick mani/pedi...checked with Yelp for help with a salon near work. I was so pleased! The staff welcomed me and got me started right away. The guy doing the pedi had strong hands...got the best foot/calf massage I've had in awhile. To save time because I was in a hurry...a woman did the mani while I was sitting in the pedi massage chair! Nice! I love the way she did the gel polish...so thin and natural looking...not thick and gloppy-looking like some other salons have done. Bexley Nails is a wonderful salon. They have plenty of nail polish colors to choose from, some of which are OPI brand, which tends to last for a long time. My pedicure experience was excellent. No frills nail salon that does a great and thorough job for a great price. They were so thorough that I was a little ashamed of the condition of my feet. :-) Apparently they needed a lot of attention. I'm not a terribly "frilly" person so I didn't miss the frills you find at other salons, although they can be nice in the appropriate situation. I will definitely be back. read more

Very VERY disappointed with my nails. I would give NO Stars but I'm required to give at least 1 star...This was my first time at the salon and I saw it had 4.5 stars so I thought the service would be good. I went with my friend and we both showed pictures and both techs told us they could do what we wanted. Mine was simple it was all black gel nails with the gold foil strips cut across to make a line on each nail I was told they had the strip when I specifically said "the gold line is not polish it is the foil strips you cut and place the nail do you have that?" And she said "yes" so she paints them black and she goes to get gold polish I said "the line isn't polish we were using the gold strips" and she then tells me they've never done that!!! I was lied to, so I made a quick decision to have a gold triangle on my ring fingers SHE COULDN'T EVEN DRAW A SIMPLE TRIANGLE I have 2 gold blobs on my fingers. then my friend wanted matte and the tech who did hers did a terrible job. When my friend told her she didn't like them and that she did a bad job,mainly because they weren't matte and they were super thick for gel polish because of how many top coats she put on, the lady didn't offer to take them off or fix them but instead made her pay. The Gel Polish was all over the skin and the tech did 2 shiny top coats under 1 layer of matte top coat and the shiny was popping through making them look like a mess. Not matte. On top of the fact that they were over $10 more expensive than any other nail salon I've been to. I definitely don't recommend to go here. They don't listen and they lie. read more

I have been to Bexley Nails approximately 6-8 times over the last two years. My experiences overall have been just average. Pros: I keep going back because it's convenient to my house, does not require an appointment, is clean and bright inside, and the nail techs are friendly. Con: quality of manicure for the price. The quality of manicure is not what it should be here. I have gotten both gel and regular manicures, and have similar complaints with both. Techs are usually in a hurry and do not take care to achieve even lines or evenly spread the coats of polish. After my last visit, I left with a manicure that looked worse than if I had done it myself. I was charged for a spa manicure even though I did not ask for one (which as best I can tell, differs from a classic mani by virtue of an extra 30 seconds spent spreading lotion on each hand/arm). Not worth the hour spent and $24 before tip. read more

I had a bad experience at Bexley Nails in July of 2016. The woman doing my nails asked if I would like them cut down and I said no. Moments later she told me my nails were too long then she cut them down anyway. After she finished my nails, she added a tip to my bill after I said I didn't want to give her a tip.
