Came here for the first time today not realizing it was right when they were closing. But Shu who worked there was happy to make me a cappuccino even though they were closed. He was so awesome the best person to be working there! He's so friendly and kind, I offered to tip him for letting me order so late but he said no and was so humble and asked me to just come back and enjoy another coffee. He is awesome! You can tell he loves working there. The space is so cute with the garage door open seeing the inside of the space with skateboards adding a fun vibe. Loved the muffins they were so flavourful and not super sweet. Will definitely be back!

Latte was decent. The space is quite large with lots of seating. They display lot of art giving it a cool vibe.

Bevy is a coffee shop located along Dundas St. East near River St. The quiet event and gallery space has a coffee shop in the front where they make a delicious cup of coffee. The space is not big but they have some seating indoors and picnic outdoors. They offer a variety of caffeinated beverages, pastries, cookies, as well as subs from Good Behaviour. I stopped by Bevy on a Sat in the early morning. I was greeted by the barista who was friendly and made my flat white with oat well. There were a few pastries in the display case but I just opted to get the drink. I hung around a little bit to have drink my flat white just enjoying the sunshine and vibe of the place. Great coffee shop around the Regent Park area if you are ever in need of a good cup of coffee. Definitely will return for more if I'm around the area!

My weekly runs and coffee stop. It's not so busy early in the morning. It's nice to grab a coffee post run and just sit and chill. Also, there's a studio or some sort in the back. Very nice. Big space. Maybe something worth looking into when you're in the area.

Went to Bevy to study and it is now one of my favorite study spots. I will definitely return sometime. Lots of space and seats, many options such as bar stools, sofa, regular seats etc. Quick internet and quiet environment to read your books or do anything your heart desires. Love love love. The workers were kind and meticulous with the drinks to make sure they put the right type of milk. Overall, i really loved this place. About 10$ for a scone and drink which is a rare price nowadays in Toronto. Highly recommend everyone to come here at least once

This shop has a nice "art" vibe to it and it's quite relaxing when u going in. Today the barista name is Josh and he is quite a friendly guy and most importantly, made a nice cup of flat white! The espresso is quite pleasant with fruity note to it and they are using Hatch coffee today. I guess they use different beans because I saw another reviewer photos and it was Library bean at the time. What a coincidence that before I visited this place, I also went to Hatch in Markham to get a coffee tonic (with Karatina bean I think) and this place picked the same bean to make flat white also ... lol ... the oat milk in my flat white is foamy and silky smooth! Thumbs up!

While the tasting bar is lacking the delicious treats found at Te Aro and other cafés where Pilot coffee is brewed, the service and experience at the tasting bar more than makes up for it. Due to the odd hours of operation (8:30-3:00 M-F) it may be impossible for the Monday to Friday, 9-5 crowd to ever visit the tasting bar (unless you go on your day off). Located in a nondescript alleyway in fledgling Leslieville, visiting the tasting bar can make you feel like you're part of an exclusive group who are "in the know". The tasting bar serves a variety of espresso based drinks (latte, flat white, cappuccino, mocha etc), brewed coffee (drip, chemex, pour over etc), nitro cold brew, coffee samplers, and some non-coffee drinks if you choose to bring a non-coffee drinker (do those people even exist???). I've tried the nitro cold brew (awesome, creamy, smooth), latte (strong), and cappuccino (awesome). Prices are comparable to other cafés in the city. Barista gives you the opportunity to choose from a small variety of espresso beans from which your drink will be made from. While you can have your drink to go, the real experience lies in sitting at the tasting bar, sipping on your drink while talking with the friendly and knowledgable baristas.

I had a London Fog, they use Sloane tea ("heavenly cream" flavour, a classic) but they fill the cup half way with hot water and then just add a bit of steamed milk and vanilla syrup. I thought that was so weird, as it should be just the tea bag, steamed milk, and vanilla syrup. It tasted watered down. I also had a croissant and it was so bad, it was almost inedible. Judging by the way they were stacked up like sardines in the display case, I think they are bought from somewhere else and certainly not made in house. It was too dry and lacking the inner chewiness, yet also not flaky or crips on the outside. Instead it was kinda stale. It looked like those ones that come in big boxes at grocery store. Very disappointing. The only good thing is that their street side patio is really nice in the summer. There are ample muskoka chairs with side tables and a bowl of clean water for the dogs. On a weekend morning, there are lots of regulars here and people are very friendly. However, for quality espresso drinks and fresh baked goods, Supernova Coffee up the street is significantly better (and also has a cute patio area).

We tried the egg & cream cheese and the ham & Swiss, and wow... insanely buttery, perfectly flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside. This was definitely due to everything being made fresh in-house. When we ordered, we caught a glimpse of trays of butter-loaded croissants at the back, ready to go into the oven. My partner straight up said it was the best croissant she's ever had--so that says a lot. Drinks held up too. The strawberry latte was super refreshing, with a tangy syrup that paired really nicely with the espresso. My dirty chai was solid, though I was a bit bummed they didn't have stovetop chai--it just hits different. I liked how they host local artists' works & shows too. It's a very intimate & community driven cafe.

My favourites are the ham and cheese croissant and "eggy boy" (round croissant with egg, goat cheese and pepper). There is wifi and they have newspapers, so it's the kind of place to relax and stay a while. In the summer, there are a few patio tables. Year round there is an outdoor seating area (benches) which is perfect for bringing your dog (they also have nice dog treats!!).
