Between the wide choices of restaurants around this area, this is a lesser pretentious place where to have some finger food and a glass of wine. I tried their pizza that definitely didn't match my expectations, but their crostini were really good, so I would stick to proper Tuscan food when it comes to this place. Overall the prices are very convenient for the quality of certain dishes is amazing. Try their menu of the day to be sure of being satisfied.

Very nice small resturant. Quaint. Good food. Good wine. Reasonable price. Will return often.

What a fantastic spot- we may have been lucky or went during a down turn, but we didn't wait more…read morethan 5 minutes in line before putting in an order. Found a table upstairs (there's a small room up there with 4-5 tables) and by the time we got up there, our sandwiches were ready to be picked up. The bread is fantastic, crispy outside and a nice chew in the middle. Everything tasted fresh. I could eat these everyday. Prices are reasonable, everything from 7-15 euros I think.

**I Girone de' Ghiotti -- Florence, Italy **…read more Before leaving Florence, we had to make a stop at the viral sandwich spot everyone seems to rave about--and I'll admit, we arrived before opening, second in line, slightly skeptical about whether the hype was actually deserved. **OH. MY. GOD. It was.** This was hands down one of the best sandwiches we've ever had. The bread was fresh and perfectly crisp on the outside while still soft enough to hold all the incredible fillings together. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully put together. The menu has around 18 different combinations, and while they're happy to make some adjustments, I actually appreciated that they encourage you not to over-customize. Their combinations are designed so you can taste each ingredient the way it's intended. We went with **the Suicida and the Golosa**, and both were absolutely delicious. Each had its own personality, with layers of flavor that somehow worked perfectly together without becoming overwhelming. There's something about standing in line on a little Florentine street, watching these sandwiches being prepared, and then taking that first bite that makes the whole experience even better.

It's a perfect little spot to catch lunch outside or have a bottle of wine to people watch. There…read morewere only two tings that I didn't like; one of which I don't think the restaurant has much control over. That being said, the first thing was the service. It's rather slow. I don't know if it's slow to me because crazy Americans think everything should be faster than not. So I wish I could give half stars. They are super nice ..,it just took a while to get my order in. The second thing that I don't think they can control is the people who walk around trying to sell you something. They're a bit aggressive. With me looking like them, they beelined for me the two times we sat there near the entrance. So I suggest sitting inside away from that because they can't come in. There is this little cute table that we sat at that is on the edge of the inside but the window is a roll up window giving you access to the outside patio. That is where the can still get to you but can't come all the way in....except this one lady. She stepped all the way in....i was shocked. And got aggressive with me when I told her no thank you. The trick?...they told me "I'm beautiful" "like your natural hair..." and since they liked me, they said "I give to you..." and handed me two bracelets and a fan. I said no thank you and she kept shouting "excuse me...I give to you..." I set them on the table and she gave me the son story of being pregnant and since she give to me, I should give to her for the gift. I said no one final time and she snatched everything off the table and left...FINALLY. Ugh. So not sure if the restaurant can do more but they need to.

My servers were helpful by answering my questions. My pasta dish was just okay and that's where the one star was lost. I cannot recall what the name of my appetizer was, but it was lamb and very flavorful! I would eat there again.
