This BevMo! is the only place in Tucson I go for full liquor/wine service. Their prices are no different than Total Wine, and while TW might have 5-10% more inventory, BevMo wins because of their customer service. In the 5-6 times I've been here every staff member has been friendly and helpful - the complete opposite of TW. BevMo staff is always ready to help me find obscure gins and bourbons, and if it isn't in the store they always try to find a way to order it for me. This was my annual visit to a liquor store to buy some NA beverages to celebrate the onset of summer. The manager escorted me to a well lit aisle with NA beer, wine and spirits from around the world. I found my favorite Deschutes Black Butte Porter and he carried it back to a register for me while I studied all the NA Gins. Amazed to have such a choice I read all the labels and selected a robust one. Then decided I'd need some light tonic to go with and he guided me there. When I checked out, he also had fresh limes to sell me. I think I may return to this store sooner than annually. Incidentally, last year I tried Total Wine where I was waved over to the darkest corner of the store for 1/4 of the selection. read more

Haven't been to BevMo in a long time and I saw that they have established a partnership with Go Puff. This change made me want to look inside and I was oddly impressed by the variety of stuff they managed to fit into so few aisles. As always, the selection is pretty good. The location feels smaller than I remember, so I can forgive them if the selection isn't warehouse sized. Several people asked if I needed help but Tanya was with me in the end. She and the staff were very polite. Tanya was also professional and helped me with additional questions. I was very satisfied with my trip and happy to leave a review. Usual customer until today. Amanda the cashier on 5/27 6:00pm was the complete opposite of customer service. And when asked if we could speak to a manager about her attitude she replied " He wouldn't care about the way I treat customers!!!" It's a typical BevMo but with a better parking lot than most! Prices are higher than discount stores such as Costco however the crowds are zilch and that alone makes it worth it! They had everything I needed to make a front yard happy hour EXTRA happy! read more

I would give the business 5 stars. I've been checking in since the Covid pandemic to see if they do growler refills and they haven't started that back up yet. No employee or manager I have talked to has inquired to their higher management about the issue either. It seems it's just accepted and they're waiting for their management to give them the go ahead. I'd suggest being more proactive to solve an issue to get more customers. At least have an answer for the customer as to why the issue hasn't been resolved, when it will be, or if they have stopped doing it completely. read more

This store is so far away from my side of town but it was worth the trek! The staff was incredible helpful and friendly. Especially considering that I had placed my order online and was super late to pick it up. Cindy was super gracious and helped me get my order all squared away. The layout of the store is very open. Scam. Person I asked about wine knew less than I did, which is basically zero. Then he tricked me at the register into getting a free "membership" with promise of $10 off my first purchase. First time in a store in many years because I was looking for a very specific wine called monkey in the can. I tried the wine at a outdoor event and was actually pretty good for wine in a can. Decided I'd love to have some of it in the fridge for those days when you only want to have a glass but not crack an entire bottle. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had it here. I love the layout of the store and the pricing is isn't that bad if you shop for sales customer service is great in helping me locate the wine I'm sure I'll be shopping here again soon for my new favorite monkey wine! read more

VERY good place to get your adult beverages from! On 4/11/2020 we were attempting to make an online purchase with no success. I called Bevmo and spoke with Cindy who was more than helpful and professional. Cindy was able to locate the particular beverage we were searching for and held it for me to come and purchase. After we searched 5 other local stores, we were very appreciative to be able to speak with a staff member who exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the great staff @ Bevmo! With the variety of different wines and beers who doesn't like this place especially when you're getting ready for party. You are sure to find a beverage to please everyone of your guests. this is the only place that I found a particular red wine that I absolutely love I've search for it in other places and this is the only store that I've been able to find it. I love when they have samples of different spirits that way you get an opportunity to try it out before you even purchase. Terrible customer service. Cashier demanded to see the person I was with and my I.D. at the time I went to check out (we were paying separately). Then she was so distracted by other customers it took for ever to ring me up and pay for 2 items and she was arguing with them while I was standing there waiting to pay. As a 30+ year old I can't stand being treated like a criminal for purchasing alcohol. You should really treat customers better. Well-stocked big box liquor store. Employees are fairly knowledgable and helpful. Prices are fairly consistent with what you expect to pay. I've noticed if you ask for a product line they will have just a single option from the same line. It's probably the best way to stock as far as inventory turnover but you're not going to find the selection you might expect from a store so large. read more

Love that I can surf the bevmo.com website, find, and buy my booze before I leave the house and there will be a smiling Bevmo employee waiting with my order when I arrive at the store. All this while getting 5% cash back from my Bevmo membership! Even with this convenience I still find myself perusing the shelves looking for something new to add to my wine, beer, or spirit selection at home. As for selection they have a decent variety. But the service is terrible. Nobody knows anything about what is in tel he store or anything about the products. And they are not very happy to help you if the get around to it. I once stood in an isle waiting for help for 30 minutes with no one else in the store but me. I went in today with my parent so they could purchase beer for themself. I did not touch anything at any point during the time that I was in the store. The cashier asked for my ID which I thought was very odd as I was with my parent and never touched anything and was not purchasing anything. I was under the assumption that a parent could purchase alcohol with a minor child present in the state of AZ. This was further reinforced by seeing a dad walk through the line with to a daughter who appeared to be about 14 to purchase beer moments later. The manager said that if someone appears to be close in age 18 is ID'd which is odd to me considering a dad with a daughter who appeared to be be a teenager did not get ID'd. They should state this discriminatory policy on the door and enforce the laws of the state they are in. I am not sure what is up with this but discriminatory practices are not cool and in this case make no sense. How can a parent with a child who is 16 (but appears to be 18) not purchase alcohol but a parent with a child who is 14 can? I don't even drink but will do everything I can to keep friends, family, and associates away from this business that put a thorn in one of my few days in town. I have been to the Total Wine and More many of times in TUCSON with this parent for them to purchase alcohol for themself and this has NEVER happened before. I am not sure why they have this policy and do not bother having it posted anywhere as I would have never gone into the store and my parent would have taken their business elsewhere like they will be doing from now on. This has never even happened in the state of California when I have been shopping with my parent. God forbid I want to spend time with my parent who I see like twice a year. I will just stay home next time they went to purchase alcohol because I never want to deal with this annoyance again. Thanks for turning what was supposed to be a fun day in town with my parent into a real unnecessary pain. If this establishment wants to follow a policy that is exceeding the state law and even neighboring state laws, it is really something they should post outside so that customers have the option of steering clear of this place. read more

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. You walk in and you get greeted by a cashier whom actually looks like they enjoy their job. Browsing around, there are many wines to choose from, which can be a bit daunting, but if you ask for help, the staff is really friendly and will help you choose something if you're not a heavy drinker. It seemed that all the staff I came in contact with on different occasions had some suggestions. Associate Leah knew about local craft beers, Cameron and Wes knew about wines and whiskey, and the cashier (can't remember her name. Sry cashier girl) who doesn't drink much, could tell me anything I wanted to know about the unique sodas and which ones were best in dump cakes. I gonin looking for a few things for a friend so I ask an employee about a product and show her on my phone and she looks at me and takes three steps back. Then at check out you have to stand about 20 feet from the register and wait to be checked out. I get this COVID-19 thing is around, but no reason to go out if your way to make your customers feel like they are an infected zombie. If you are this scared then don't open your doors. Quite unfortunate experience. After an exhausting search for a Jameson 18yr master selection I had found one at bevmo on Broadway. I called in to confirm with staff that they in fact had this item stocked and was told they would be expecting my online order. To my surprise I received a call two hours after my order confirmation and call to the store that they had sold all three remaining bottles to a customer after I placed my online order two hours earlier. With days before the holiday I'm now without hopes of finding this selection. I now have to wait up to 5 days for a refund on my account and can only hope I'll be able to afford another if I come across it in time. This would have been my first experience with bevmo and to say it's probably the last. Quite unfortunate to say the least. read more

So I went here for their $.05 sale. I usually get my wines from Trader Joes and if I'm desperate, the supermarket. But my friendmade outta here the other day with 8 decent bottles for less than $70 so I gave it a shot. As far as the selection goes, fantastic! The way that they have the wines "organized" is a little bit of a cluster, if ya catch my drift. Like I said I dont usually go here and I was looking for a specific wine for a dinner party. It is called Beauzaux (yummy) and is a red table wine. After walking around the store for 5 minutes (no one really offered to help).. I bothered an employee and asked for it. He must not have known what the heck I was referring to or not have been a "wine person" because before I knew it, he was showing me a $6.99 bottle of Bealieu Vineyards. I didn't want to bother him more than I clearly already had so I thanked him and conitnued on my search. I gave up after about 10 more minutes of walking around aimlessly and stood in line at the checkout to bother the only other employee in the store that i could find. He was actually a little more helpful and went to the computer to see if they carried the wine. When he found it, i was enthralled. But when he vaguely told me "it's in the middle aisle where it says 'other reds'," I found myself back at square one. Well this is basically how my visit went and it consisted of lots of laps around the store. Im more of a red wine person but I occasionally crave a crispy chilled white wine... but I was too afraid to bother anyone else in the store to ask for any good recommendations. Well, I got an assortment of wines and walked out with 6 bottles for about $50 so I feel this trip was an accompished one (oh I did find the Beauzeaux btw). Total Wine & More is much, much better. I don't this this BevMo location will be open much longer. There are probably a maximum of 2 employees working here at any given time. Most of of their inventory is out of date and overpriced by a wide margin. No wonder this place is so empty. read more

Ok, so this review is more for the wine tastings than anything else. But I love the wine tastings here! The person running them always has a wealth of knowledge about it, and are extremely friendly! They also have different cheeses out, or crackers, or some kind of meat (like salami) to go with it all. They are always cohesive selections, wine and cheese alike, and I love getting to expand and define my wine palate here. My boyfriend and I are here almost every weekend to try their offerings, and to learn about different wines and different regions and such. This is a great, free way to spend an hour or so on a Saturday afternoon! read more
