The cashiers w glasses also were very helpful, patience & friendly, one managed to greet me as soon as i stepped in feeling welcomed! ^.^ The energy , the people the environment all was a great experience for my first time coming here alone. Great customer service and so many options to choose from! They also have a go puff option for grocery options. Dan is very informative and helpful with alcohol suggestions. I just got some great deals on the BOGO 5cent sale! read more

The cashier's here are untrained and awkward. The female cashier asked me dull questions and gave me pointless comments like: "Are you purchasing this beer?" "I've bought this beer before." "I didn't particularly like this one." "Is there anything else I can help you with?" These are very awkward questions and comments that I did not appreciate as a customer who is just trying to check out as quickly as possible. read more

We were having a ton of trouble ordering a $400 bottle of Macallan off GoPuff and DoorDash. My husband and I went into this location to ask how else we might me able to order. We were immediately greeted by cashier Charles who called up the Store Manager Samuel to better assist us. Samuel explained why my order may not have worked and suggested I try using the GoPuff app rather than online. Satisfied with his help, we left and went to lunch. At lunch, we were getting the same error messages and still unable to order this bottle, which was intended as a gift to our step-son in Northern California. To say the frustration level was high..... We went back to Bevmo to talk to Samuel. He immediately recognized us and took the time to walk us through the ordering process and made sure the order was completed. He then pointed out the delivery time and reassured us the bottle was on it's way!! Our stepson received his gift within 25 minutes of Samuel's assistance and is excited to open it up! If not for Samuel's great customer service and patience, we would not have spent that $400 at BevMo. Thank you so much!!! read more

This place is a drinks dream. They have mostly everything one can hope for to get their party started. I am not a big drinker. An occasional beer or two. But they had what I was looking for and I was in and out in minutes. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly. They will convince you to join their club. Just do it you can save a buck or two. I was out and about in the area and decided to check this place out and karla was just amazing! She knew her stuff and recommended some very good wine! She went above and beyond with making sure I would be buying something that I would enjoy! Definitely would come back for her expertise!! read more

This location of Bev Mo is well stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful. I was driving by while running some errands and remembered I had finished my last bottle of wine the previous weekend. As it's unacceptable for me to be wineless I did a u-turn into the plaza and stopped to make a purchase. I was looking for a specific bottle of cabernet sauvignon that I have been purchasing at my local Bev Mo for years but they didn't have it here. After examining row after row of cabs I decided on two bottles from a Paso Robles vineyard (certain designated wines on the shelves are "buy one bottle, get the second for five cents." I like that deal!). Up to the register and on my way in a matter of minutes. Far more selection than a grocery store but yes, there are other wine or beer stores that have a larger range of selections. Still, this is definitely a great go-to place for wine, beer, alcohol and assorted snacks for the majority of people. read more

I didn't appreciate the employee working there was higher than a kite. I had asked him a question and he was not able to answer it. I just looked at him and you could see it in his eyes. After that experience, I will not be going back there again. If I needed anything, I will be driving somewhere else where they hire employees that don't come to work under the influence. If he felt the need to get high, he should've stayed at home and not come to work. read more

Lots of beer, wine, liquor, party supplies, mixers, juices, energy drinks, just anything you need for drinks-related things you're gonna find it here. Also use their online if you want cuz it makes the whole experience super easy. Huge store is a little daunting if you're a newbie but rest easy, you'll be aight. Staff greeted me right away at door. Costumer service was amazing! Right when I walked in I was greeted immediately, I wish I knew his name one of the workers helped me find a wine that I wanted to buy for an upcoming date and the way he knew where the item I needed made it look like he knew where everything was in the whole store! I got the wine and Right when I was about to pay for that that bottle, Selena , the cashier upfront gave me a very thorough explanation of which wine's would be better for my date. I came in thinking the wine I was about to buy was good but Selena came through and hooked it up with even better wine options, the Two bottles of wine I ended up buying are the "Lambrusco Reggiano" and "Donovan parke Chardonnay". Thank you to the dude who helped me find the wine and a special thank you to Selena for giving me her Wine knowledge! I appreciate y'all read more

If you're a person of color you'll most likely be Asked for ID when purchasing non alcoholic beer! So I go in to get some supplies and they said all the registers are down and the only way I can get anything is getting their partner app for shopping. So I download it and place my order. I thought I selected in-store pick up, but ended up delivery to the store that I was standing in. I was charged $5.99 for a tip that I never approved and never got the $5.00 discount that was offered on your first order. I called the app customer service and they said they would finally agreed to give me the credit, but after a week and half still no credit. read more

Large selection and great service. They even deliver if you load their app (gopuff). An employee told me there was an instant 5.00 coupon so I used it on my purchase in store. There are also 3 - 10.00 coupons for delivery. I placed a delivery order a week later. There was a problem with my address that was my fault. When I called the store Jimmy took care of everything swiftly and with a great attitude. I can tell he enjoys his job. I was VERY happy! read more

I was perusing through the holiday displays at Bevmo and saw some sort of Lemon liqueur.... I was reading the bottle when the BevMo employee walks up: BevMo: Can I help you sir? Have any question? Chris: Yea, is this lemon liqueur any good? BevMo: I wouldn't know, that's for chicks. Only females drink that. Let's go over to the scotch and whiskey section and I'll help you out. Thanks BevMo for keeping me in check. And yes, he really said that. I ended up picking up a 6-pack of Obsidian stout by Deschutes Brewery and a bottle of Pyrate rum. read more

Terrible Experience. I purchased a six pack of beer and miscellaneous items. After years of shopping at this store, I ordered by the check out clerk to give him my id so he could scan it. I inquired why I never had been asked before and he said the store had been doing it for a year, which was a bald face lie given my shopping there. Shame on you Bev Mo. I am not really a fan of BevMo as a whole. Prices are a little high and unless you're looking for something completely different, the Vons on Valley View has a pretty solid spirit and wine selection and better pricing. That being said I did pick up a couple of craft whiskeys that I hadn't seen before. The store's staff is pretty knowledgeable and that you won't get at a grocery store. The thing I do like the most about BevMo though is their selection of mini liquor bottles. I travel a few times a year and the store runs a 6 for $18 deal on minis. A word of advice for anyone's next plane trip. You are allowed to fill up a quart sized ziplock bag with as many sealed bottles that will fit, so as long as you can close it. This means you can easily take enough for a round trip flight and saves a significant amount of money if you consider having a pre flight drink and onboard cocktail each way! BevMo is also a nice spot for the occasional cigar. Coupons are sent to BevMo members periodically through email and or mailer but I haven't received any of the above mentioned in years. I will have to look into that. read more

I like this Bevmo store. They have everything from wine, beer, tequila, and the bottled old fashion rootbeer!!! The real thing. As if BevMo wasn't already bad enough before they incorporated extremely expensive groceries,.. but now even to purchase anything in the store you need an ID because the whole store is 21 and over? I couldn't buy a pint of ice cream because I didn't have a scannable ID on me. That is just ridiculous if you ask me. Definitely will leave this store as my last resort. read more

We were looking around for a while to collect all the bottles and beers we wanted and we were finally ready to check-out. We were accidentally waiting in the wrong spot we missed the queue because we came from the other side but mind you there was no one else in line. When we got up to the register the cashier told us "just so you know the line is over there" and I apologized and told her it was our first time there and she huffed. As my boyfriend put the basket down I put the Arizona jug down and she said "don't push the basket" when I very slightly touched it with the jug, then she rudely asked if we both had ID's (it's all about the tone). Didn't say anything it is what it is but then she put aside three bottles of our liquor. My fault for not realizing she put them aside and didn't scan them but I am genuinely disappointed with the customer service and leaving without all of the items I would have liked to have purchased :( read more

Wow, the store clerk nor the manager couldn't be bothered to take a $250 wine order over the phone. Our log-in online wasn't working so we thought we could simply read the list off. Nope. They took longer explaining that they couldn't (or wouldn't) do it over the phone than taking the order and our money. The person to pick up the wine is clearly over 21 so that is not an issue. Wow. Good help is hard to find. I hope the Regional Mgr reads this and realizes how stupid that policy is and how they didn't make an exception. Also, the manager couldn't even figure out the word " w i n e " ahhhh what half your store is filled with...so ridiculous that I was inspired to write this bad review. Cheers, we ordered elsewhere. read more

This place is huge, compared to my local BevMo this place is a giant warehouse and the other is a tiny shack! Aside from that, the selection is bigger and they also have a separate section for snacks and other goodies. When I walked in, I felt like I was in a moderate size supermarket. What made my experience a lot better was when I found the item I was looking for, a Heineken mini-keg. Those are sometimes hard to find but this store had plenty. Walked over to the register and paid for my item and was happy on my way out! Will definitely return for more mini-kegs and or other spirits. read more

Stopped by the store the Fri before new years to purchase a couple of gift cards for a party I was going to that day. I was told by the cashier that they were out of gift cards. How can a large store be out of gift cards at that time of year?? At that time of year, they should have an unlimited supply of gift cards. I asked her, do you have any gift baskets available? She pointed to a table with empty bags and said you can make your own. So here I am 74 yrs. old, handicapped and struggling to walk with a cane and the cashier didn't offer to help me if I wanted to make a gift basket. I just left the store frustrated. I emailed customer service and got some babble back offering to have the regional manager contact me. Nobody ever contacted me. I won't be purchasing anything from that store in the future. They really don't care about their customers. NOMO BEVMO for me. read more

Just left from this location. I asked the cashier if the price was correct on a 200ml buzz ball because it says 10.99 for one. She said " maybe it's for a pack of 3". So she walked over to the aisle and saw that indeed it says 10.99 for one. But the flavor next to it says 3.99. So I'm thinking this is a mistake. She said "maybe it's 10.99 for this flavor". I said "really? Circle k sells it 3.50" She said "you should call corporate that you don't like the price." It's 10:21a in the morning and she's already irritated at work. You think you'd get better customer service at place that sells 10.99 buzz balls. Just saying. It would've been nice if she had checked to make sure it was correct because clearly it was an error. She rather have me call corporate myself. Smh read more

-While range of wine, beers, alcohol, etc. The store is well stocked and have a huge variety of anything you need for your next party or night in. I needed to get a variety of different glass water bottles and I was surprised they had a good selection. Prices seemed very reasonable compared to other stores. -One thing I didn't know you need to be over 21 in order to even be inside the store even if you aren't buying alcohol. Also if you are bringing anybody else with you; they better be over 21 as well or they won't sell you anything. -Overall I like the store. The employee that rang up the items was nice and the store was very organized and clean. One thing that threw me off was when I was driving to the store it was at night therefore I couldn't see exactly where it was because their outside store name was not lit up. read more

I have been coming into this BevMo for a few years now because they have speciality spirits that you can't get from the local grocery stores. Every time I come in I noticed that that the staff tended to treat me differently compared to other customers. They are helpful when I have asked them to help me find a particular item but when it came time to check out they all turn into super judgmental people and suddenly give me terrible customer service. And I completely understand and very well aware that I am a shorter man who is in his 30's and tend to look like he's 18-19 but come on! You don't need to stand there and tap my ID, hold it up to the light, flick it, and rub your fingers over it, AFTER you have already scanned the damn thing! This has happened several times with a few different cashiers. What's worse is when they scan my ID and then completely ignore me for the rest of the transaction process and start to talk to the customers behind me with suddenly the best customer service ever! I mean this wouldn't be a big deal if only happened a couple times with only a few different staff members, but it has happened multiple times now with different people. read more

The things I love about BevMo: 1. Large selection! 2. I can search for a product on their website. So convenient! 3. Order online and pick up at the store! Again, convenient. This time around, I only went to buy beer. The sections are nicely labeled by country. I was looking for specific beers from Denmark, Belgium, Japan, and Germany. It was so easy to find what I was looking for! I'm sorry I've neglected you for so long, dear BevMo. I like you and Total Wine & More (Tustin location) equally, ok? read more

I know this is a corporate rather than a local decision, but I hate to see the transition of the retail space into a glorified Seven Eleven. At least 1/3 of the store (probably more) is now devoted to prepackaged food and snacks. Obviously, a covid-era/superbowl party decision. But the craft-beer selection has really suffered, and too much self-space devoted to non-alcoholic and gluten-free stuff. Beer is all about the gluten! This is not at all a criticism of the Cypress store nor its staff, who are always friendly and helpful. My advice to the regional manager--stay in your lane! Do what you do best--provide the best selection of beer, wine, and spirits. I can get snack stuff anywhere. read more

Love their 5 cent wine sale. It's as close to a BOGO deal as you can get...! The staff here at this location is SUPER friendly. They greet with smiles as soon as you step in. It was a rainy night when I came into the store once, and one associate even emptied out a shopping cart that he was using to restock the floor, so that I didn't have to go outside to pickup a wet shopping cart from the rain. Great customer service! Also, the store is beautifully clean and virturally spotless, just the way it should be. So I'm not gonna lie.. I totally judge a book by its cover when it comes to wine. I like the pretttttyyyy bottles or the really unique-looking ones. But then again, don't get me wrong..I know I like pinot noirs and sauvignon blancs, but my horrible memory will never help me remember 'my fave winery'. I am a kid in a candy store, NAY, an adult in a beverage store here. If you are a lover of alcohol and the different creations you can manifest with the proper ingredients BevMo is really difficult to top. This alcohol palace is beautifully displayed with not much flair, instead aiming for ease in finding what you want as well as being surprised by what you didn't know you always wanted. With libations categorized by type (rum, whiskey, vodka, etc.) it's easy to get lost in each aisle...with wonderment! Sister: You want to go to BevMo? Me: What's BevMo? Sister: Just come... You'll see... As I walked through the doors, the cool AC wafted by me. Clouds formed at the ceiling and then parted. A blinding light shone down and I could not see. Was this Shangri-La? Atlantis? The fountian of youth? The light shifted and before me was the largest selection of beer, wine and liquor I had ever seen in one space. Angels could be heard singing in the distance. I have been an avid customer ever since. The prices are not Costco cheap but the vast selection far outweighs that fact. I've tried to drink my way through the beer section as a matter of fact, but it's vast. If you go here. Get a BevMo card. It's requisite if you plan on coming here more than once. The 5 cent sale is awesome as others have stated. Please don't be one of those people who buys a bottle on sale and then refuses to get the second. You look like a retard.
