This place is always clean and tidy. The staff is very helpful and I always find what I'm looking for. I need to come by when they have the wine sale. Buy one bottle get another for 5 cents. I'm not a big wne drinker, but if I kept coming here for the wine sale I just might be one. I've been to other Bev Mo's (Huntington Beach, Pasadena, and Torrance) and this one is the best. ALCHY HEAVEN. I end up at Bevmo at least once a week to browse their super impressive selection of beer...I usually end up drooling over all of the goodies and/or jumping around in excitement for at least 20 minutes. They also have a pretty eclectic range of international liquor. I went once with a friend (who had recently come home from an extended stay in Chile) in hopes of tracking down a type of Chilean liquor she had fallen in love with; sure enough, we found it! The employees are all really helpful too. The last time I went, I ended up talking to one guy for 10 minutes about weekly wine/beer tastings, as well as a slew of offbeat beers. Is it just me or is it AMAZING that they have a tasting section in the back of the store designated for weekly tastings of unusual and new alcohol?! I couldn't ask for more. Anything your little heart desires, Bevmo has. They even pre-prepare you for the drunk munchies you'll get after drinking your alcohol by lining the aisles with chips, dips, cheeses, etc...pretty thoughtful, I'd say! And don't forget to check out the witty quotes painted on the walls...so entertaining. To sum it up: I just feel like frolicking around in joy every time I walk into this Bevmo. *This is my personal opinion* Although this is the only Bevmo I have been to, this location is awesome. I didn't even know that it was in the plaza it was in till my friend took me there. It's next to a corporate area, so if you're traveling down that way, don't worry it's there. Every time I've been there the staff has been nice and helpful. I like going to Bevmo because they have a wide variety of drinks, and depending on what you're looking for they'll have something for you. I was extremely excited to see that they carry Young's Double Chocolate stout, it's a very nice beer. If you are of age and in the area, you know what's up. read more

If you like old fashioned customer service, this BevMo rocks. Not only can you get a question answered, the staff will clue you in on upcoming sales or promotional events. I had a need for a hard-to-find specialty spirit that always seemed to sell out before I could obtain some. One of the staff took my name and phone number and promised to call when the anticipated shipment arrived in a couple of days. Sure enough, he called and held a bottle for me. Selection AND service. Fred the cashier is a total dumbass I've always came here to purchase all my alcohol my sister and I came to pick up some alcohol and he of course asked for her id since she was making the purchase and asked for mine I looked at him like I'm not purchasing anything so long story short my sister who is in her mid 30s wasn't able to buy alcohol because I didn't show him my Id because I wasn't planning on purchasing anything so left my purse at my house total BS!! read more

The store for all things inebriating! The only place with cheaper prices is Costco. So if Costco doesn't carry it, I buy it here. They have an awesome selection of beers and hard liquor. Things I have had trouble finding elsewhere. Sign up for their Club Bev, and look for items on sale/special priced. After $200 in purchases, they send you a coupon for 5% off. Also, they seem to have a buy one bottle of wine get a second for 5 cents, several times a year. Not every wine but quite a few. Watch out though it's really easy to walk up to the register with a few things and run up a real large bill. I've qualified for my 5% coupon on a single visit more than once. read more

They have a huge selection and... they'll match anyone's price "if" you find something they carry at a lower price than theirs; how can you beat that?! Loved that I loaded my cart up with wine for a party after a worker said they price match Total Wine. I loaded my cart up with 24 bottles of wine, get to the register and I'm told they prove match up to 2 bottles only. Thanks. I wish I knew that ahead of time! I come here on many occasions to find a different variety of wine or beers that your usual grocery stores wouldn't have. They also have plenty of side things to go with your alcohol choice. Such as snacks and other non-alcoholic beverages. I highly suggest getting a rewards card here also. The price/points add up! They have wine tasting on certain days i believe? But i haven't been to. The employees are very nice and helpful. The parking is easy to find because its not a busy complex and it's in the corner. Getting in and out is easy as well. read more

When they have their buy one get one for $.05, I know its time for me to restock. I came here frequently because I work just down the street, and I grew up in this area. But I must say that I have NEVER received good services here. Never feel welcoming. I was the online pick-up area for what seems like an eternity. The cashiers looked at me and looked away. They don't bother to get on the telecom to ask for someone to come and help me. They stared at he blankly like I'm invisible. At times, I question if the main reason was because of my ethnicity. All the caucasian folks seem like they received pretty good treatment here. Oh well, they have good wines, good prices during their sales. Can't say many good things about their services. read more

Horrible customer service. I went there on a surprisingly non-busy Sunday, and knew what type of beverage I was going to get. I waited by the locked glass case and saw a bitter employee walk down the aisle towards me. We made eye contact and he stopped, arranged some bottles next to me, then walked on. No "hello" , " can I help you" , none of that. I waited to see if I could get help from another employee but to no avail. I waited and watched as that same bitter employee gave attitude to another customer when asked to open up the glass case for a product. F that! I walked out the store to take my business elsewhere and was bumped into by some fat pig employee sipping on a JambaJuice. Apparently she was late for her shift because I didn't get an "excuse me" . The only reason they get 2 stars is because they are $1 cheaper than TOTAL WINE. But you know what, I'll take the drive there and will and always have a better experience at TOTAL WINE. They have an awesome selection of dealcoholized wine (it has the same amount of alcohol as a glass of orange juice... so it is totally Halal)! Our favorite it the Merlot by Sutter Home Fre. They also have nonalcoholic beer (never tried it). Along, with a nice cheese and chocolate selection. So, for all the pregnant women or Muslims out there who would like a wine and cheese party, this is the place to get stocked up. read more

This Review is for anyone wondering If they can return anything that they bought that they didn't like or need that was unopened. If you buy an item that is on the 5 cent sale and bring both back unopened you only get half of what you pay for, even with original receipt. I bought 2 bottles of champagne, one 17.95 the other for .05 cents as part of the sale but only was able to get 9.72 back. Dan the manager explained the policy, super nice guy, very much enjoyed talking with him. Loved all the staff there, just didn't love the policy. If it isn't a 5 cent sale item they will return your money in full, so anyone who is planning on buying, be careful with your decision. read more

We just bought a shot glass for my father's birthday and we find out that it is shattered to pieces. We had just bought it 5 minutes ago, so we go back into the store to exchange it, but the manager is the only one who has the authority to do so. This is understandable, but what troubles us is that the manager decides to talk to another customer first even though we were there first. The cashier who is helping us, keeps trying to get the manager's attention to help us with our dilemma, but the manager continues to talk to the other customer for another 15 minutes. Then the manager finally comes to us and tells us that we didn't even need to wait for manager approval. Thank you for the waste of time. read more

Okay so this place is pretty cool but the prices are not that great for the sheer size of the place. I guess I can only judge based on the liquor and the beer. I am an East LA native and Rite Aid and Liquor stores have way better specials or almost exactly the same prices. I don't think I would drive here again for drinks but if I am in the area I would definitely stop by. read more

BevMo is always there when your thirsty. Even if you don't know what you want a stroll around the store will decide for you. I like coming here when I want to try a different beer and sometimes I'll ask an employee for any suggestions. They ALWAYS have a great choice. The place is always clean too. I used to love BevMo up until a few weeks ago. For years they've have wine tastings on Saturday afternoons and beer tasting on Friday evenings. Both had a core of regulars plus new drop ins every week. This was a great way to taste the wines before purchasing. Many of us were introduced to new varietals, blends and labels through these tasting. Then a couple of weeks ago Bevmo corporate decided to combine wine, beer and soda tastings so that instead of 6+ wines, there are now only 2-3 plus 2 beers and 1 soda. Not a good idea! Some things just don't mix. The Cypress Bevmo has always had excellent, knowledgeable people conducting the wine tasting, and they have always been generous in sharing their knowledge. Now with the beer tasters in there too, neither the beer drinkers nor the wine drinkers are getting what they need. Prices and variety are better at another large liquor store chain that still offers more extensive wine tasting both weekend days. Wake up and take notice, BevMo! You're losing that personal touch that kept a lot of us coming back week after week. read more

Went here last weekend to pick up a couple of things for our bar at home. We were happy to see they had a pair of copper mugs in stock. We needed them for our moscow or irish mules. We copped a pair and bought a bottle of Jameson, a four pack of Bundabergs, a bottle of 10 Cane rum for our mojitos. Everything was easy to spot and shop. Customer service was OK, nothing to rave about. I wouldn't mind coming back here again to this location. However, the closest BevMo is the Orange location. I was also pleased to see that they sold Casa Sanchez tortilla chips from the Bay Area!! I wished it came with a Papalote jar of salsa though! read more

Everyone's really helpful and they KNOW what they are talking about. I was looking for a specific kind of Scotch and I had been to four places before BevMo! and no one knew what the fuck I was talking about. I was driving by and decided I would stop here and at least ask. The girl absolutely knew what I was talking about right away and was sorry to tell me they didn't carry it. I at least give her props for knowing what I was saying. Everywhere else I went, the employees were 'tarded. BevMo, God bless you people. Where else can a wino get 7 bottles of wine for 47 bucks?? Hallelujah!! I have their club card and I get coupons sent to me via email and they have the 5-cent wine sale too, which is how I was able to such a great deal. I have yet to take advantage of the online order and in-store pick up. Maybe soon because I find that I will read every wine bottle label otherwise and be there forever, and that's time consuming. I will make this my go-to store for sure. read more

5 cent sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The wino in me loves this freaking place! This is the closest store to me but I really like it in comparison to others I have been to. The employees are all very helpful and willing to look anything up for you or discuss what they like and help you choose what you might like. They have a huge selection and the isles are wider than other stores and that's key when the 5 cent sale is on b/c they have non stop business. I've never seen the place a mess and I can always find what I am looking for. They have a great selection of beer and hard alcohol with plenty of snacks to go with them. Lordy this place has such a selection of everything alcohol related. 100's of kinds of beers, tons of options for vodka and the other hard stuff, you just can't go wrong here. Their mixers are higher priced than a regular grocery store but I'm willing to pay more not to have to go to another location. Just watch out for the snacks, they're WAY over priced. All the cashiers are friendly and are willing to look for what you're desiring and will order it if it's available. read more
