I felt bad but I was not going to pay for something that looked like that. The final product was just super thick, uneven, and you could still see the glitter underneath the layers of nail polish. Not only that but the employee was very disrespectful and gave me attitude when I asked him to redo it. Since I am the one paying for the service, I feel as though the way he acted about the whole situation was unprofessional. I got a shellac mani at Signature nails and it peeled off several nails in 9 days. For the cost of it, I expect better quality than that. Cleanliness of the salon was great. I was rushed to pick out my colors before I had even looked through all the options. It was repeated to me 5x by two different employees--what color, what color, pick a color, have you chosen yet? There's hardly any massage in the mani or pedi. Like less than 45 seconds for each one. I'm sure of this before the girl massaged my hand/arm while the other hand was under the curing light for the shellac. If the shellac had stayed on for 14+ days, I would've went back but I won't pay that cost and only get 9 days worth.

My last visit was more awkward with me being greeted and asked to not sign in, but to maybe come back later. The option to wait wasn't offered and the suggested return time was a guess, not a confirmation of a time. After leaving I remembered that I'd seen this happened to others while I was in the chair getting my nails done. It has discouraged me from recommending this salon because I wouldn't want people to have the same experience. I'm updating my review while sitting at another salon. Will likely not return to Jeannie's.

It's close to work, it's totally affordable, its clean, and the staff is friendly! There were two technicians working, one lady was older than the other and I'm pretty sure she was the owner. My mom got her, and I got the other lady (sorry, I don't know her name ). My lady didn't talk much, which I like. I've always hated going to nail salons and making small talk. My technician was very thorough and clean. She paid very close attention to details. Compared to my last nail experience these were impeccable. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo before they started growing out. But I've had them for over a week now, and the only chip I have is from where my already torn nail when I received the service ripped all the way off. I knew this would happen. I got a pedicure, and a gel manicure and it was $55 in total, which I think was pretty reasonable. Especially because of all the amenities that came with the manicure. THE BAD - The bad really isn't even that bad, but I'm sort of a germaphobe. One part of the manicure I didn't like was the paraffin wax dip. It was cool because I have never had one at a nail place before, but it's also very unsanitary. It know I could have opt'd out (and I should have for time reasons) but I didn't think about it until after my first dip lol. OVERALL - I think I have found my new nail place, but I won't be doing the paraffin wax.
