Rita is an ANGEL!!! She got all of my cleaning done perfectly- on Labor Day weekend. I will continue to come to Beverly custom cleaners!!!

The owner is very arrogant and extremely rude. Unprofessional. She charges according to the brand of the clothing. Even the clothing is still dirty or not cleaned properly, even though she agrees , she doesn't take any responsibility for it. My suggestions, try other dry cleaners. read more

Lost a pair of my favorite designer trousers that I brought for alteration. This item was a part of a bigger dry cleaning bill (with multiple other items). I had brought all my items into the store at the end of November a week before Thanksgiving. The missing item was not included with my other clothes that I also brought for dry cleaning when I picked everything up the next week (some other items also required alterations). Notably, none of the dry cleaned clothes had plastic covering on them (this was not the first time this has happened) and I had to carry out my clothes in a pile. Unfortunately with the holidays and work/life circumstances, I did not realize this item was missing until recently. I stopped by this week to ask if the trousers were still there. The lady running the business did a very cursory examination and blamed the missing item on me for not checking the total count of items earlier, even insisting she included this item in my original pickup in November. She did not even want to see a photo of the pants in question or listen to my description of the item. I blame myself for not keeping better count of what was dropped off and for not checking in earlier. I blame the business for allowing this situation to happen and for their response when I asked for a check of the store to locate the item. I was told that they were not responsible for items left over 3 months. I picked up my clothes on 11/25 and checked the store this week, which is within the 3 month window. My hope is the pants are truly lost and were not taken or sold by the business. They were a very expensive pair of designer trousers and it would be a shame if they weren't actually lost.... read more

Best service and dry cleaning! My go to cleaner for clothing etc. Highly recommend. Re

DISGUSTING DISPAY OF RACISM!! Went in yesterday with my black friend to get a jacket dry cleaned. Woman working there asked my friend how long her braids took and if she washes her hair. Mind you, this was NOT a compliment. She was very inappropriate and when my friend suggested another cleaners the woman ripped up the ticket in front of my face and then proceeded to tell me she would cry clean for me if I came back alone. (I'm white) Most disgusting and uncomfortable interaction I've had in a very long time. All POC and advocates of anti-racism should avoid this dry cleaners. read more

Rita was rude on the phone. Asked if she had coupons. She said never in 35 years. Good for you(I guess?!) I said thank you. She said "bye".Shouldn't have been the other way around?Have fun visiting Rita. I won't. read more

Older woman at the counter very rude to me and other customers. I tried being nice and it didn't work. Never again!

I moved to Beverly Hills a few months ago and was looking for a new dry cleaner. I found this spot and they are reliable, professional, attentive, affordable, and very kind! The owner, Rita, is a delight and takes great care of my clothes. Highly recommend! read more

Rita is the absolute best! She is an Angel! Not only does she dry clean extremely well and fast but she also makes going to see her an enjoyable experience. Her dry cleaning is fast and good and she also does alterations as well. My family has been going to her for about a year now and I think we will stay with her forever. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a great, fast, easy, and affordable dry cleaning place! read more

Rita was very helpful in my dry cleaning needs. Beverly custom is clean and organized, and well run. I highly recommend if on the west side, use this cleaners. They have been there a long time. read more

Rita has cleaned many items for me without issue, meaning everything has always been perfect. In a few cases she pointed out spots that might not successfully be cleaned, managing expectations so I have never been disappointed. About a year ago I brought in a cashmere, Bottega Veneta coat to be cleaned and relined, and, shortly after, before buying and dropping off the lining she recommended (Italian silk of a certain hand), I became very sick, something I've been dealing with ever since. The simple kindness in the act of saving the coat for me and checking in to see what I'd like to do over the course of more than a year speaks volumes about the quality of the person running this business. This attention to the detail equates to pride of ownership, which translates to exceptional work. Highly recommended. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences of my life -- the woman was rude and disrespectful almost immediately after I walked in the door. I was asking about their wedding dress preservation services and the woman was offended that I asked about their process and how they treat the dress. With the most important piece of clothing I've ever owned in my life, I will want to know what is happening to it. Instead of making me feel welcome and assured they would take care of the dress, the woman told me I "have no trust." As a first-time customer, you are correct. You need to earn my trust. Especially with my wedding dress. Thankfully, I walked out and found another fine company to preserve my dress instead. Please, please take your money and your business elsewhere. There are too many hard-working people who deserve your business much more than Beverly Custom Cleaners. read more

I'm so happy with the owner, Rita, and the service here. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews because my experience has been nothing but pleasant! I'm there twice a week and look forward to visiting Rita and really appreciate her attention to detail in dry cleaning! I trust her with my items and know she will take care of me. read more

I called in to inquire about the price for wash and fold per pound and shirt dry cleaning. None of this information is listed on their website. The lady who picked up the phone quite rudely said I could only ask about one thing. I assumed this was just a joke that was awkwardly delivered so I laughed it off. I inquired about the wash and fold and it was $3.50 per pound. I proceed to ask about the price for dry cleaning a shirt and she snapped back saying I can only ask about one thing. Wow! I'm used to terrible customer service in this part of the world but nothing so nasty and self-sabotaging. I just said thank you and she hung up the phone. What a shockingly terrible experience. I don't understand why they wouldn't post the prices on their website anyways. Definitely will be taking my business elsewhere (there are many options in this area). read more

Where do I start!!! It's been 3 years I come here and I'm extremely happy. The lady is very nice, she can seems cold but she's not .. she's the rare person in Los Angeles whom knows her job and is real with you... love her . Never had any problem and I can't tell the same about other cleaners that I used before I find this place. ( btw way more expensive than here). If you wanna a good job without having someone trying to over charge you just to make money, you are at the perfect place. read more

I have been using Rita's dry cleaning services for years and I highly recommend to anyone who is in need of dry cleaning in the surrounding area. Not only do they have pick-up and delivery service to make your life easier, but if you do decide to come in for a drop off/pick up, you will get the pleasure of talking with Rita, who is extremely nice and sweet and knows her customers very well. read more

I've been a customer here for a few years (after trying just about every other spot in my neighborhood, just like everyone else...) and I can say that I wholeheartedly trust my clothes to Rita. She understands how to handle expensive pieces and does an excellent job removing stains and her pressing is perfect. She actually cares about doing a good job for her clients and if you are picky about your garments, you will immediately notice the difference. Prices are very reasonable too. I would honestly be inconsolable if I were forced to go somewhere else... As far as the comments on Rita being rude, you can kind of get the sense that those reviewers had it coming... Rita is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and her story about how she came to this country and made a life for herself is inspiring (ask her sometime). She's been in the cleaning business for a long time, and doesn't have time to be jerked around by difficult/demanding clients. She'll tell it to you straight and I really respect that about her, although people that can't handle straight-talk probably wont agree. read more

The owner is the most disrespectful person I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She's rude, very condescending, and only gives time of day to white older women like herself. I have given her business for years and today was the last straw for me. I'm taking my business and referring my clients to go somewhere else. read more

Prices are great service is awesome Rita is a lovely lady to talk to very helpful. Thanks for the years of service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to anyone that needs a 5 star cleaner. read more

They're close to my work. Woman who works here is actually incredibly sweet, just older and set in her ways. Just don't be a jerk, and she won't be a jerk. Great cleaners who really did a great job. I've tried 3 cleaners in Dtla, Pasadena, and now Beverly Hills in the last 5 months, and they're the only ones who've been both effective and affordable. Plan to bring them plenty more biz in the coming days and weeks. Go check it out and just remember that you get more bees with sugar than salt. read more

My wife and I live in Dallas. Our luggage and clothing was severely damaged by the Airline. We arrived 15 minutes before closing. Rita took all of my wife's clothing that could be laundered that evening and had it washed, folded and ready to go by 8am the next morning. Our dry cleaning was ready later that day, too. These are fantastic people and they do high quality work. There is plenty of parking too. Don't walk, run to this place! Thank you Rita! Our trip started off as a disaster and you made it all right and good again. Thank you so much! read more

Rita is GREAT! She's excellent at multitasking. When she gets busy and still lets you know she's working on your stuff. I rarely stay more than 5 minutes. I am amazed at how well runs this place sometimes by herself! She always fights for me if something goes wrong which rarely happens. I really appreciate that. I also love that she appreciates ALL people. She treats everyone the same, whether you're rich or middle class, black or white, it doesn't matter. In a place like Beverly Hills where status can mean everything, she is RESPECTFUL of ALL people from every part of the word. Because she is so busy, she has to be direct sometimes but look at it from her POV, she has a million customers to take care of. I will be her customer FOREVER! read more

The woman here is disrespectful and unhelpful, not to mention being exceptionally rude AND they didn't do what they promised. I would NOT NOT NOT recommend them at all. read more

This cleaner is located conveniently yet sadly they dont seem to clean clothes well. A few times I have ended up with spots on my white items that were not there before! Yes, seriously. They kindly removed them when I went back... I just prefer to only make one trip at a time to get my pieces dry cleaned. read more

These dry cleaners are absolutely no good. I had a beautiful 100% merino wool blanket made in Switzerland for Saks Fifth Avenue dry cleaned there, and it shrank so much it no longer can be tucked in on the sides. It is one of a pair, and I didn't have the other blanket cleaned, so there is no question of the amount of shrinkage. The texture seems different, too. Josephine W. read more

I called to get an estimate on cleaning my wedding dress and the woman snapped "Well how should I know what it will cost? I haven't seen it, have I?" She got worse from there and when I finally offered that I'd find a different cleaners, she went ballistic as I hung up. Yikes. Way to loose out on a costly cleaning job with a bad attitude. We all have bad days but no need to take it out on a potential customer. read more

Prices are reasonable, cleaning is great, the owner accommodating and very sweet. So far this is the best place I have found overall in LA.

I call them and ask for someone to speak Spanish, because my English it's not so good and I want to be more specific whit the things I need, and the person who answer the phone was really rude whit me and say that "this is America" we have to speak English anyway, and hangout the phone, well I'm from America too! But from Mexico and it's ridiculous to somebody been racists, I can explain in English the things that I need, but she don't give the chance to talk! read more
