Lamb Kabob and Chicken (breast) Kabob with salad instead of rice.
    Yaz V.

We are here on the way back from the Bay Area. We wanted something "Ketoish" friendly. Yelp, you lead us here and did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was so full of flavor. The restaurant itself was clean. My wife had the steak and beef kabobs and I had lamb and chicken. The flavors are so good and on point. I substituted the rice for a salad. We also had the hummus which was delicious. My wife really liked the pita that came with it I ordered a side of cucumber for the hummus. The entire meal was a lot of food. We both ate the leftovers for lunch the following day. Do your taste buds a favor and check out this restaurant.

    Side skewer koobideh with rice.

Food was amazing, customer service was also very good by the ginger Matthew. Love this place.

The restaurant is small, but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was excellent! As mentioned in another review, the rice is super bland. My chicken kabob tasted like it was washed with dish soap. The lamb and pita were good. I really wanted to like this place. Maybe it's the spices I wasn't a fan of? Bummer.

Chicken Soltani. Very good and great portion! Will try other items on the menu next time.

Food was okay and it's a bit pricey. I paid $50 plus for a chicken kabob, beef shawarma and 2 pcs of baklava.

They were incredibly gracious, welcoming, and organized, which immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal--perfectly cooked kabobs that were flavorful, tender, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. It was the kind of meal where everyone at the table was talking about how good their plate was, which says a lot when you're serving a group that size. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, making sure everyone was taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Hosting 30 people is no small task, but they handled it seamlessly and with genuine warmth. Amazing food, amazing service, and exceptional hospitality. If you're looking for a place that delivers incredible kabobs and truly knows how to take care of their guests--whether it's a small meal or a large gathering--this spot deserves your highest recommendation. We'll absolutely be back.

recently started a vegetarian diet and randomly remembered that this place offers vegan koobideh,…read morewhich is honestly unheard of at most Persian restaurants. We came in on a weekday for the lunch special and I was excited to see it was still on the menu. I ordered the vegan beef koobideh and added a vegan chicken koobideh for $5. The lunch special comes with half rice, half salad, plus a drink. I chose the iced tea and it was really refreshing. For an appetizer, I had my must-have mast-o-musir (shallot yogurt). They also bring out butter and half a raw onion, which I always thought was random until I asked my Persian coworker how you're actually supposed to eat it. Turns out the butter is meant to be mixed into the warm rice so it melts, and the onion is used as a palate cleanser. You peel off a small piece and take a bite between eating your rice and protein. Once you know, it totally makes sense. Between the two koobidehs, the vegan beef was the clear winner. It was flavorful and honestly didn't taste like fake meat at all. The vegan chicken was good, but you can slightly taste that Impossible-style meat flavor. Next time, I'll definitely just get two beef koobidehs. Overall, I'm really glad I came back. After trying a bunch of other Persian spots, this is still my favorite, especially now that I can enjoy it while eating vegetarian. Highly recommend.

Our dinner did take a little while to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. We ordered the lamb chops with rice and salad, the jujeh kebob, and the salmon kebob. The rice came with a piece of tahdig on top, which was a nice touch. I especially liked the salmon - it was moist and cooked really well. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the lamb chops were soft, succulent, and didn't taste gamey at all. You can really taste the charcoal flame on the meats, which added so much depth without overpowering the dishes. The flavors were subtle and balanced, with hints of saffron throughout, especially in the rice. They also have a good selection of vegan options, which is nice to see. Next time I'm in the area, I'd love to come back and try their stews. Overall, a really good spot with great food. We all enjoyed our dinner here.

The rice overload needs to be addressed by Sultan's. It would be much nicer if you could order meat skewer sides and add carbs IF wanted. With a 5 dinner order, the hummus that arrived on the plates were too small to share. Think 5 pita half's and 2 sauce container hummus. Doesn't translate. The onions could be pickled. So your goodbyes don't annihilate your friends upon departure from dinner. Staff are amazing as always! Turkish tea would be nice like Sultans at Blackhawk.
