To start off one of their representatives came out on a Sunday when we realized we had water damage in our kitchen from a leaking pipe. Richard and Morgan came out shortly after to start the tear out of our water damage. It was so painful to hear them tearing out my beautiful hickory cabinets, but they did what they had to do. They cleaned up after each day and were super respectful when they were there. Their cabinet guy that pulled our cabinet faces off and rebuilt the boxes was an expert craftsman. Mickey, who fixed all of the insulation drywall and painting got it done within two days and it looked fabulous. They installed the cabinets and granite countertop without any damage. There was an issue with the backsplash tile installation but they made sure it was fixed correctly. I can't say enough about these guys and how fantastic and professional they were. I would take them over a National brand any day. And I am writing this review a year and a half after the repair because I always make sure it turns out great in the long-term. read more

A fire suppression system pipe in our attic suffered a hairline crack and slowly, over time, the water in our attic built up until it seeped down the walls of our utility closet and ruined the overhead drywall as well as the drywall in the closet walls. After the wet drywall was cut out and the pipe replaced Better Ways came out. John taped plastic over the door opening so cold winter air from the open attic would not affect us, Michael stayed on top of things as supervisor, and Alfred replaced attic insulation, replaced and taped all of the drywall, installed new baseboard and grout lines, and then painted the walls both inside and outside of the closet. We were told the job would take 3-4 days, but Alfred did it all in one long day. Alfred is one of the hardest working, thorough, and competent workers we have ever had in 22 years. Fabulous service! Responsive, respectful, and reliable. Homeowners are shocked when rain falls inside, ceilings fall, and carpets are soaked. BWS took over immediately, moved furniture and belongings to safe areas, tore out the damage, and protected the rest of the room with plastic curtins. They have been through these shocking scenarios before. They know just what to do. They not only stop the damage, but they stop the shock and pain to homeowners. Extremely polite, they encouraged me to call at any time if follow-on storms trigger more damage. BWS is by far, the best contracting service in Tucson! As they worked through a five-month insurance renovation of upstairs bathroom and subsequent water damage to ceiling, walls, wood flooring, etc. due to overflowing toilet, they worked TIRELESSLY and I never noticed anyone taking breaks during their efforts for restorative repairs. This is one top-notch company who works efficiently and professionally, leaving no evidence of their repair residuals anywhere in the house or outside when using equipment for flooring, etc. Gary was the site manager who kept us abreast of every repair and scheduled appointment - his attention to quality is spot-on as he looked to ensure everything was done to order. Lastly, a shout-out to all others whose names elude me (there were a lot, particularly the packing crew who ran like clockwork!) Our adventure began 2 months prior with a house flood. through the insurance process, Better Way Services became involved. This was no easy fix-it situation. Throughout the repair, Mike (superintendent) was on the jobsite constantly checking progress, as well as the quality of the work. I should note that I was in the construction trades for 40 years. Now retired. The reason I mention this, I definitely know what to look for regarding the level of workmanship. The second person of note with Better Way is Alfred. Our hall bathroom needed to have the drywall replaced around the entire perimeter, 24" up from the floor. If asked (or if I did the work myself...) I would have said 2-3 days to complete the process....not Alfred. He accomplished everything in 1 day ! This was no rush job on his part either. I rarely see someone with his level of expertise and dedication to quality workmanship as Alfred displayed ! As an aside, Mike didn't expect him to finish in one day either ! To say I'm impressed with the level of customer service, knowledge, and dedication to quality, would be an understatement. We had a leak under our kitchen sink that damaged several cabinets. Better Way Services (BWS) is one of the preferred companies our insurance company suggested, and we are not disappointed that we chose them. The water mitigation process was good and pretty quick. We decided to change up the kitchen layout for the rebuilding process, and BWS came through better than expected! The quality of materials and installation was fantastic. The only negative in the whole ordeal was a miscommunication on a delay in the schedule, but it was easily corrected. They quickly came out and assessed the damage and walked us through the process. This company is amazing. I have used them twice with terrific results. First time, part of my home was flooded from a broken pipe. Second time, last week, we suffered through a devastating home invasion when 2 doors were kicked in. Todd took my call at 7:00 am and immediately went to the home and secured it by screwing the doors shut. Don was assigned to do our work which included installing 2 new doors, trim work, and paint. I can't say enough great things about this company. I recommend them; it is unlikely you will get better overall value from their other competitors in Tucson, especially right now since building trades are scare and in great demand with hurricane reconstruction in rest of USA. The office manager DAN NOYCE and some of his employees such as Steven Thorpe, John Payne and Mickey are genuinely committed to customer satisfaction and willing to go above and beyond the normal call of duty to please the customer. Unfortunately this is not across the board for all their employees and subcontractors. BWS prides itself with outstanding customer satisfaction. Their charges are above average but not unreasonably high; you get what you pay for. I would definitely use them again. A year ago today my house flooded while I was out of town. My insurance is through USAA & they referred us to this company. As you can imagine, having your entire house under water while you are thousands of miles away is very stressful. The idea of strangers in your home touching & packing all your possessions is a scary thought! The owner of the company, Steve, stayed in constant contact with us letting us know everything that was happening. The person put in charge of my home, Eric, was fantastic! The owner's daughter works for the company & is in charge of packing up the homes, so I felt more comfortable knowing a woman was there. I had 5 animals in my home & they were incredibly helpful in getting them to a safe place. After living in a hotel for about 2.5 months I was blessed to move back into a brand new home. Eric really went above & beyond helping me throughout this entire ordeal. He even cut a little entryway door into my hall closet door so that my cats litter box was concealed better. Of course, as with all things, it was 100% perfect, but in a situation with a magnitude such as this was-they were the BEST. Thank you Better Way Services for making a the best of a difficult situation. The only other review they have is very confusing to me, as I just can't imagine that happening. USAA, my insurance company, recommended that I use them to repair my home after mold remediation. They did a really nice job. Super easy to work with, not a bit of argument on anything, and willing to come back and fix anything that they didn't do right the first time. I didn't need to ask them for that, though, since they did everything right the first time. Their employees went the extra mile on everything: just very cooperative. With other contractors I've often had problems with the super-nice sales person who made the "pitch," being replaced by actual site workers with negative attitudes and poor cooperation skills. Not so with BWS. They had a job-site manager who could be reached at any time over the phone, but who also came out to my house several times just to make sure everything was going perfectly.
