It's a mom and pop shop, which I am always eager to support, and the customer service was great. Really friendly, knowledgable and accomodating. Their prices are low, and they have specials if you bring in full suits rather than pieces. The owner has also recognized me from coming in every few weeks and is so nice. I brought a jacket in to get the sleeves shortened and she gave me a "special price" (I wanted to keep a buckle on the sleeve but didn't want to pay too much). They obviously treat their repeat customers well. The service is fast. They do same day work. Their hours are great - open early, late and weekends. They do a great job and I would highly recommend them. They do shoe repairs too, which I haven't tried yet.

When I did the dress was not in with the other dry cleaning. The male owner, hung the dress and went to cash me out. Something seemed off. I asked him to remove the plastic and the dress was RUINED. He was rude and told me he would fix it. I said, no, I will take it somewhere to see if it was fixable and he can compensate me for the damage. He refused. I will be taking this further as the owner lied about damage, then said not his fault its the manufacturer and refused to even apologize. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

When I was parked in the Frescho parking lot and going in grocery shopping I had one of my family members go across the street to pick up the dry cleaning. 0/5 stars. This place honestly needs to be shut down…read more After a trip to the Caribbean, I brought in my fairly new jacket for dry cleaning. I've only had it a little over a year, and it was in excellent condition, no stains, no holes, nothing. When I brought it in, the woman working there insisted on charging me an extra $16 to "repair" the zipper because there were a few loose threads. She said it needed to be fixed before cleaning to prevent damage. It was literally just a loose thread, but I paid it anyway. I dropped my jacket off on Monday, and the pickup date they gave me was Thursday at 5 PM. I went to collect it, and suddenly my coat wasn't there. She told me to come back the next day. I said okay and called the following day to confirm it was ready before coming in. That's when I was told some nonsense story that my jacket had a stain and needed to be re-cleaned. My jacket had no stain when I brought it in, so what are you talking about? Then she told me to come back Monday. I told her that was impossible because it was -6°C, snowing and raining heavily, and this is my winter coat. I needed it by the next day at the latest. After that, I was given yet another story, this time that the delivery driver couldn't deliver because of the rain. None of this made any sense. I then asked for the store manager's number, and she refused to give it to me. Instead, she tried offering 50% off my next service but there will absolutely NOT be a next time. This morning (Saturday) she finally called to say my coat was ready. When I went to pick it up, I saw that the hardware on my all-black jacket is now completely scratched, to the point that it looks silver instead of black. When I pointed this out, she had the nerve to tell me I brought the jacket in like that and that there was nothing she could do about it. So after keeping my coat two extra days, giving me multiple false explanations, refusing to give me the manager's contact, and damaging my jacket, they still refused to take any responsibility. Terrible service from beginning to end. Zero accountability. And to the business responding to other reviews claiming customers are "scamming" you, trust and believe I have all the time in the world. People deserve to know exactly how this business operates. Don't bother trying to delete this review either, because I will just post another one. PLEASE NOTE: the first two photos were taken 2 WEEKS before I took it to LONG BRANCH CLEANERS, the last 3 photos are how I received it.

Considering my request was both delicate and time-sensitive, I did considerable research beforehand, only to find that most dry cleaners in downtown Toronto have very mixed reviews... including People's Dry Cleaners. However, I decided in the case of the latter, they were primarily based on old management. I decided to take the risk. I was greeted by the owner's warm smile and immediately felt at ease. I brought my wedding dress in approximately two weeks before my wedding, and they finished the job in 2 days. My dress is now wrinkle-free! Impressed with the service, friendliness, and speed. To be fair, these prices are in line with what other cleaners in the area offer, particularly the dry cleaner at the Loblaws across the street. Service-wise, the employees are very friendly and accomodating, but unfortunately my clothes were not ready on the date specified. I brought in my items on Friday and was told I could pick them up on Monday at 5. On Monday, only 3 of 5 items were ready, as a couple of the dresses "needed more time". I wasn't really impressed, but they were quite apologetic about the situation. The other two items arrived on Wednesday and they were able to deliver it to my condo in the area. I'm told they do pick-up and delivery for the neighbouring condos free of charge. (Sidenote: you feel a bit pretentious going to your doorman and asking if your dry cleaning has arrived.) The parking situation is a bit tricky. The front of the store faces the street (Sheppard), and there is *some* parking in the back (maybe 10 - 15 spots at most), but it's shared with all of the other businesses, as well as those visiting the senior's home who don't read instructions and are too lazy to park in the underground lot.
