I've been short-changed here before because quarters were just dumped in my hand instead of counted out for me. The pricing keeps getting more and more expensive ($6 in Nov '18 to use a large washer and however much more to dry, the price varies as the machines don't always work). It's becoming untenable for ageing machines despite spending money to renovate their service area, and very bad service. It's the business' duty to guarantee the machines are working, and when they're not working, it's their job to believe clients and make it right, instead of telling paying clients they can choose to put more money in for broken machines. I avoid doing laundry here as much as possible. I also hate leaving reviews like this, even worse for places in The Market. But honesty and community is important, and you get what you give ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've been going to this laundromat for 2 years, because it looked to be the best one in the area…read more About 6 months ago I noticed that even when the washing machines are turned to HOT the water gets luke warm at best. (If you don't believe me, use one of the top loading machines that do not lock during the wash, let it fill with supposed 'hot' water, and stick your hand in it). I had resigned myself to believing that perhaps all laundromats in the city keep their water temperature low to save costs and continued to use this location - until today. I tried the other laundromat in the area and to my surprise, their hot water is ACTUALLY HOT. If you don't mind washing all your clothes in cold water then this place is fine - but I will be making the extra 1 block walk from now on. Enough leftover soap residue and not-so-clean-smelling clothes for me.

I spent about 10 minutes in the cramped building looking for a sign for the wifi until eventually I called their number. The woman who picked up was rude in that lazy, I don't give a shit attitude as she asked me which coin laundry I was in. After telling her she said that it first didn't work and then that it was taken away because people were abusing it. The inconsistency of her story convinced me that it was never available at this location. When I highlighted that they were advertising as having wifi online she acted disinterested and informed me that it was no problem. I guess I wouldn't have had as much of a problem with this if I a) hadn't been lied to and b) was treated like shot when I asked about it. Addition; A minute after writing this review in the laundromat a tile fell off the wall next to me.

First, the cleanliness. Many laundromats have filthy floors. But not this one. When we visited, it was very clean. Almost exemplary. And the washroom was also very clean and obviously well maintained, which is rare in itself. The washing machines didn't have any weird smells, black fungus or stuck old detergent from previous users. Second, the equipment. It was good. Well maintained Electrolux washers and dryers. The smallest washer (20 lb) did a good job with a regular wash and warm water. The price - 5 CAD for 28 minutes. The dryer dried our small load in just 16 minutes (1 CAD). The biggest washer takes 77 pounds, which is quite impressive. Third, the vending machines. They were well stocked. You could even buy big bottles of detergent if you wanted to. Plenty of snacks and drinks as well. Fifth, the atmosphere. There was a lot of seating near big windows. Two TVs were playing racing and wildlife. Quite cozy. The area also has interesting food choices nearby (some of them are very questionable though, be careful). What could be better: - coins don't always go through, we had to retry a couple times (never had this issue before) - main wash requires powder detergent (we didn't have it, so had to buy one for 2 CAD for a single load using the vending machine) Overall, though, my kid declared it to be his favorite laundromat. And I agree.

It is rather small, but cozy. The Speed Queen machines seem to be solid. The smaller ones (without a name) stink inside, so we didn't use them. "Ultra wash" on a quad-load washer setting was rather pricey (8.75 CAD for 32 minutes), but the clothes seemed to be reasonably clean and without odor. I liked that there is an option to pay with a credit card, but the change machine is also there. The detergent vending machine is also functional, which was convenient since we forgot our supplies. The washroom door said "out of service", but it's OK since there are many affordable restaurants nearby. Speaking of restaurants, we grabbed great chicken wraps and milk shakes from a nearby place and they were very yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd give this laundromat five stars if the floor was cleaner.

The place is clean and at the time of day when I went, 2:45 on a Monday, there was only a few people using the machines. There was no issue getting a machine. Prices to wash ranged from $4.25 to $15.00 for the huge machines. To dry is .25 per 4 mins. This we had to ask someone as there is no pricing posted. They also provide spray bottles with sanitizers and paper towels for cleaning. Would come back here if I need to use a laundromat again.

The dryers are the big ones you would normally see at laundromats. The place is pretty clean and well maintained. I think it switched hands last year and the new owners came in and cleaned and repaired everything. Benches are at either end of the room and they have a few cameras. They open from 6am to 11 pm
