Washing machines: prices per load reflects whether the machine is old/new and its size. Goes from $2.50 to $5.50 (triple load machine). Dryers: industrial grade, 25 cents gets you 4 minutes They have carts to wheel your clothes around as well as a clean area for folding. Detergent available for sale and you can easily break your bills/coins into quarters with the owner. The machines are old, sometimes leak (which you might get blamed for despite not overfilling it), and don't always work properly. The service is the opposite of friendly and good. I've been short-changed here before because quarters were just dumped in my hand instead of counted out for me. The pricing keeps getting more and more expensive ($6 in Nov '18 to use a large washer and however much more to dry, the price varies as the machines don't always work). It's becoming untenable for ageing machines despite spending money to renovate their service area, and very bad service. It's the business' duty to guarantee the machines are working, and when they're not working, it's their job to believe clients and make it right, instead of telling paying clients they can choose to put more money in for broken machines. I avoid doing laundry here as much as possible. I also hate leaving reviews like this, even worse for places in The Market. The family that owns this business is extremely hardworking and does their best to keep a clean and well functioning laundromat. I recently moved into the neighbourhood and have not had to go outside to do my laundry in over 3 years. I was dreading the experience, but, am glad that the machines are in good running order, and that my clothes are very clean. I know that they also offer full wash and fold service as well.....which a lot of people seem to use. I am yet to try it out, but, it's a good alternative when you're short on time and worth the extra few dollars. The usual prices for the machines. The machines take quarters only, and the owners have coins available. They also do alternations. There's also a great cafe just a couple of doors down. Good laundromats are hard to find, and this one is definitely a good one! read more

Excellent service, newer wash machines and better dryers. There is a coin exchange machine on site for quarters and loonies. Same day wash & dry folding service. Owners are professional very helpful with signs posted with directions to proper use of wash machines. Over loading clothing in washers will not clean well. I am regular customer at this coin laundry never have any problems with owners. Owners are not rude or ignorant when the lady is doing her best to explain to new customers how to use the machines. Use your own judgement if customers are not understanding how to use machines. Please follow proper directions on posted signs in store use. read more

I used to use this laundry for its excellent wash and fold services when Vinh was proprietor, but the place has now changed hands and the costs are extortionate, the service surly. I left examples of how I like certain things folded (sheets, towels, tee shirts)...no help, completely ignored. When I took time to demonstrate the next time I did a drop-off, she snarled "you pay extra?". There was NO additional work required, same number of folds required. She was already charging more than double what I had paid before (eyeball estimates inflating ever). I bought a new washer instead and never went back. Two stars because the equipment is good, the place is clean. Fine for those who do their own laundry on site. For service? Zero stars. If you want them to do the work, have a reasonable fee in mind and haggle. Or just go somewhere else. I do have occasional repairs I need done but I take them around the corner to the cleaners. It is what it is, a coin-op laundromat. 2.75 for washers, 25c per.. 6 minutes? in the driers. Stuff comes out clean and hot. Used to walk 10 blocks to the place on Baldwin Ave for overpriced ($5 a washer?!) laundry, glad to find a much closer place. read more

Old machines that don't wash properly, owner not kind and helpful... I had many bad experiences there. I'd not recommend.

Very clean machines. And lots of them so that there is never a long wait. The lady at the counter was also very nice abs helpful and gave me as much change as I wanted for the machines. They also sell detergent there so it's all very convenient. read more

Reasonably priced laundry is a real treat in Toronto. While the Self Serve has newer, larger machines that cost $4.50 a load, they retain the older models that cost just $2.00 per wash. Drying is very reasonable as well, with modern machines that get the job done. I'm a fan. read more

Laundry was easy to do here...$2.25 for front-loading washers, 25 cents per six minutes for the large driers....indeed, clothes are clean and dry!! The jumbo front-loading washers are $3.75, you can stuff a lot in them :-) Only one counter for folding and one cart-on-wheels but that's ok...the proprietor is very pleasant and good-natured and can supply you with quarter and loonies. He also mops up, sweeps up and keeps an eye/ear on what's going on...there are a few chairs in the front entrance and no shortage of cafes and nibbles nearby...all in all, a nice neighbourhood laundry experience :-) read more

it did the job, i went here to wash my family's clothes but honestly, the machines were old, the environment was too messy and chaotic... the chicken place next door was too much, i felt so nauseas... but you know what i did what i needed to do and left but i will find another place if i ever visit canada again... read more
