When I arrived, they said I would have to reschedule, I was actually about eight minutes late. They have a 10 minute grace period. That's when I was put out because they wouldn't allow me an appointment at that time they said I had to reschedule. And I kept insisting that I was within the 10 minute race. But that didn't seem to matter! Another Customer Service rep at the desk seated a few seats away decided to chime in and say, "but it's 11 minutes right now"! That's what I was put out and said to her, not to but in because I've been here a couple minutes already! After going back-and-forth and they wouldn't give me an appointment until a later day or time I just left! I will be looking for a new dentist office, which is fine with me because I think they've turned into a a Factory instead of personal care!

When I have dental insurance, I've been coming here. I moved for a time and experienced another…read moredentist, which was totally great as well. After coming back here, I've noticed some changes. Yeah, they could update their office a bit - but if it works, it works. My issue is that, upon returning, I've had a newer dentist that doesn't have bedside manner. Very gruff, short and to the point, and not really explanatory. I can be alright with that if you're competent and good at your job. But, in the times I've been, it seems like he goes out of his way to activate my gag reflex. Yes, I have one and I warn people about it - but if you're in my mouth and then just start wriggling around, of course I'm going to gag. What was the reason for you to start doing that? And, if there is a reason, let me know - part of a gag reflex is a control thing. Also, if I've just gagged, don't ask if you can try again 10 seconds later - there's a process to gain composure and it takes time. I've worked with a bunch of dentists. The best ones operate on a consent model - "I'm going to do this now, okay?" is a very clear and powerful question. It makes the process easier and it is communicative. The hygienists here are usually pretty good. Friendly and probably trying to make up for the fact that they have someone who doesn't relate to patients well. Cleanings have been generally pretty good for me in the past few years. Quick, easy, and I'm out. I miss Dr. Burgler! Lastly, I sent in a payment a month ago yet got a reminder bill for the same payment. I'm pretty sure it's their office not processing the payment quick enough - not me having never sent a payment. So, how about a chill?

I have no experience with more complex procedures. Surprisingly, the cleanings have been consistently non-painful compared to other offices. When I sit in the chair, I can actually relax. It is almost like going to a spa. Once when they were short-handed, the dentist did the cleaning herself. I jokingly complimented her on cleaning as well as her hygienists. She said that she trains her staff in some techniques. Maybe that is part of the magic. They are almost always on time. Rarely I have had to wait at most 10 or 20 minutes. No big deal. The dentist running the business, Vasuki Thevanayagam is not just a good dentist, but also a good businesswoman. It appears she hires the right people. She is not above answering the phone when her staff is busy. She realizes customer service involves more than just quality dental procedures. The pricing and billing is correct. They do not attempt to up-sale me with unnecessary expensive procedures. No made-up problems, such as claiming there is a cavity when there actually is none. Every time I go there, nothing bad happens. No rude employees, no upset patients, no disasters, no drama. Just a nicely boring regular dental office where everything works as it should.
