Starting off with the good, the cashier was knowledgeable about their offerings and super sweet. Their menu had a lot of yummy sounding options! The ambiance is super cute and picture-worthy for sure. I'm giving it a 3-star because I ordered an oat milk matcha with half sugar and it ended up tasting very watery (my friends tried my drink also and agreed) -- it only got worse as the ice melted into the drink. I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Also, I wasn't asked what size I wanted so they just automatically charged me for a medium, which I didn't realize until after paying and walking away from the register. The price point is relatively okay, around $8 for a medium but not sure if it's worth it given the quality of my matcha.
I stumbled across this coffee stand when going to a poke spot around the corner and I needed a pick me up afterwards. The smell of coffee was enough to convince me to give it a try. My only complaint is that the roasted Mac nut latte was a syrup instead of a roasted Mac nut milk. But, I ordered an iced cinnamon latte and really enjoyed it. The coffee tasted really good, the drink was just the right sweetness, and the cup is super cool!
Very rich matcha flavor with a nice hint of vanilla bean. My drink was made super fast, in less than a minute. It was $8 for a cup of matcha. There's a small parking lot right in front of Ono Seafood. Definitely a good spot to get your matcha fix!
Better daze is a cute little coffee shop located on a small lot with limited parking out front. They have some adorable outdoor seating and the staff was very friendly during our visit. I ordered the coconut cloud cold brew (5/10) it wasn't really flavorful, I ended up adding some macadamia nut syrup and that helped a bit. The toasted mac nut latte was pretty good (7/10). The bagels were also delicious (9/10), I'd definitely recommend going with the roasted garlic herb cream cheese if you enjoy savory.
Love love loveeeeee the coffee! I got the iced macadamia latte and a warmed slice of banana bread that was phenomenal!! The staff was so sweet and help me decide on what to get since I'm visiting from Texas.
This coffee spot was so cute. There was a bit of a line but for good reason. The employees were so friendly and my drink was so delicious. There's also poke spot nearby that we ate at while we waited for our drinks. Love this place!
I tried a new coffee stop each day I was in Hawaii and this one by far was my favorite! I got the toasted Mac nut latte and it was made perfectly. Also such a cute and quaint little spot. 10/10 go try it
Solid little spot. The coffee is actually really good--you can actually taste the roast instead of it just tasting like milk and sugar, plus they don't charge extra for oat milk, which is a huge win. The matcha is top-tier too, and honestly, the cups are super cute. Everything is reasonably priced without skimping on quality

Always been on my radar but every time i pass by no parking . This morning finally a few parking available @ 8:00am alright . I've seen a lot of post on this nice little coffee kiosk so had to give it a shot . I really enjoyed their coffee plus very nice and helpful ladies working inside the kiosk . I asked one of them first time here and she ask what type of coffee do I like . I replied I like white chocolate mocha she said they can create a coffee very similar since they do not have white chocolate mocha. So I said that will be nice . She advised me that it will consist of Cacao mocha with vanilla syrup w/splash of milk . That is customer service explaining the type of coffee that I'll be having that was really awesome. Better Daze shares parking with Ono Seafood and Soccer Locker so you can imagine it can get very crowded. Support local and I'll be definitely back in the near future to try something else
Better Daze is a cute shack located on Kapahulu. Parking is very limited. It shares the same lot as Ono's seafood so if you go at the same time as their opening hours, it could be difficult to find parking in the lot or there is street parking as well. There is a lot next door but it is for the customers for their property only. We ordered the coconut cloud matcha and the mushroom elixir latte both with oat milk. The matcha flavor was lacking and their foam was a nice light coconut flavor. It was a bit on the sweeter side. I enjoyed the mushroom elixir latte it was good and their ingredients complimented the espresso to still have a strong coffee flavor. I would come back for their coffee espresso items. If you're looking for a strong matcha, this wouldn't be it.
Recently went again and tried the coconut cloud matcha, it is now prepared in a squeeze bottle rather than hand whisked on the spot. It is also $9 now too which is too expensive for it. Taste is not worth the price tag! I get supporting local but they charge prices on par which actual cafes that have seating...
This was my favorite coffee spot while visiting Oahu! The menu offers a variety of different drinks, including a variety of options for black coffee, lattes, matcha, teas, and lemonade. Every time I visited, I'd get a pour over and was super happy with my drink. My husband is more picky with his coffee and even he said that this was some of the best coffee he's had. So if you're thinking about coming here, this is your sign! The store is moreso a stand if anything, but it is super cute and aesthetic. The service here has always been friendly and the barista went out of her way to make conversation with us (positive points too that she's also a California native like us). This spot shares the same parking lot with Ono so be prepared for a struggle finding parking and tight spots.

Cute little coffee truck serving great coffee. The decaf Cappucino hit all the right spots but the star of the day was definitely their Mushroom Elixir. I'm so glad I tried something experimental cause that was simply delicious with just the perfect hint of cinnamon. Do stop by to try their specialty drinks if you are someone who likes to try different kinds of coffee. read more

It's a cute little shack. I ordered a coconut cloud matcha. I was very disappointed. There was no coconut water at all. It was made with milk. Maybe in California when I order coconut matcha it's with coconut water and matcha but maybe here it's different. It was more of just a matcha with milk and whip cream on top. We also ordered a coffee and the coffee was decent. Service was great. The ladies were really nice. read more

Small little coffee stand, I went twice on our last trip just to get the coconut cloud matcha. When mixed well with the matcha, it tasted so good! Better Daze is a small charming coffee trailer off of Kapahulu. I ordered the iced honey cinnamon latte. Substituted whole milk with oat milk for an extra $1. They weren't too busy, so my order was ready in 5 minutes. They also had a small table and a few chairs outside where I could wait. The latte was creamy and not too sweet. They are conveniently open early, so I can stop by before work and I will definitely come back to try their matcha or chai. The only inconvenience is that they share a lot with Ono Seafood and parking is limited, so I used metered parking and walked. read more

I got the coconut cloud match! It's a vanilla bean matcha with coconut foam (correct me if i'm wrong) which was surprisingly great! There was a subtle hint of coconut, which wasn't overpowering, and really good! Overall it was slightly too sweet for me but I would still come back for it! This is a cute little spot for coffee or matcha! This coffee stand is located along Kapahulu in a parking lot, and there's some parking available in the small lot it's located in (if not, you'll have to hunt for street parking or park in the adjacent lot). There is some outdoor seating available right next to store. The stand itself is super small and cute, painted in a bright robin's egg blue! I ordered the honey matcha with oat milk, and the girl working the stand was super sweet and helpful! My drink came out promptly, and overall I liked it! It was a little too sweet for my taste, or alternatively I wish the matcha flavor was stronger, but the drink was smooth with a pleasant matcha flavor. It's a cute trailer cafe. Came here on a late Sunday morning and we were lucky to park right in front. We ordered the Coconut Cloud Matcha and Lavender Matcha. I liked the coconut whip on top but the entire drink was too sweet for me. I was looking for a bolder taste of the matcha to stand up from the dairy. The banana bread was good. The person who took my order was nice and friendly. Hope to be back here soon to try out the other drinks. read more
Been wanting to try this spot for quite some time, but it is far of a drive from the Westside. Finally got to try it this past weekend when I was close in the area with friends. You will see the stand as you drive down Kapahulu. Parking might be tight as it shares with the same area with Ono Seafood. But people should be going in and out, if you don't mind waiting. We were there on a Saturday and it wasn't too bad. There are a couple tables out front of the stand if you want to enjoy your drink for a bit. Love the greenery near the stand also. I hope maybe someday they can open a storefront (if that goes along with the plan). But I can see the vibe that they are going for. The drinks were worth the drive out. Definitely mix in the coconut cloud to taste the flavor in the Matcha. Not too sweet, which I like. You're able to modify the milk, for my fellow non-dairy drinkers hehe. It's a smooth mix and I hope to come again to try a different drink. read more

Nice little coffee/matcha spot in Honolulu! We tried the Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte and the Coconut Cloud Matcha. The Vanilla Bean was pretty good mild in flavor and could've been a bit creamier for my taste, but still enjoyable. The Coconut Cloud Matcha had great flavor too, and while I also wished it was a bit creamier, the combo of coconut and matcha was awesome. Service was excellent the barista was super nice and helpful, which made the experience even better. I'd definitely come back, especially for the Coconut Cloud Matcha Latte! read more

I wanted to give this place another try, but today I ordered a 12 oz chai and noticed it felt a little light. Weird, but whatever ... after walking for a few mins I opened the lid and see it's super short filled. I'm not sure why someone would serve that. I could've just gotten an 8 oz. The chai is great and the service is nice enough, but I rarely buy coffee/tea out because I make it at home so it's gotta be worth it for me to revisit a coffee shop. This was my second time having a not so great experience here so I probably won't come back. read more
The coconut matcha is sooooo tasty and delivers just the right sweetness and refreshing extra pep to the perfect day in Oahu. The matcha itself is smooth and boastful. When you mix the coconut cream it adds just the right kiss of sweetness to your drink. I would say this drink is more of a caffeinated dessert, but don't get me wrong--it's not weak by any means! Specialty coffees here are sweeter and flavorful. Staff are friendly and work one at a time so it's best to be patient. There's space for about 2 parties of 2 to sit down and enjoy your coffee in the separated area in the parking lot adjacent to Ono's seafood. Everything is made with aloha! read more

Again, I don't five star unless I mean it. I appreciate quality coffee, came here looking for my favorite drink (that she offered to make), when I saw something similar on the menu I asked for instead...SO glad I did! Delicious cold brew with a perfectly sweet coconut cream whip. Perfection. I could tell by her shop she was an artisan and the drink she made proved me right. HIGHLY recommend tourists & locals that appreciate coffee, going off the beaten to try this place! Side note/HUGE plus, she uses sustainable/eco friendly cups & straws. Like..Need I say more? Support the environment, Support Local, Support art. Just go. read more

Great pit stop for a caffeine fix! I got the coconut cloud matcha latte with oat milk and I loved it. It's a tropical twist on a matcha latte, but still has a good amount of tea flavor. It was also the perfect about of sweetness, especially with the coconut cream. Better Daze is located in a small parking lot so parking could be hard if you come at peak time. There was only one person working at the time so service speed could vary as well- came out pretty quick for me since I came early in the morning though. Lastly, everything's outdoors so definitely a grab-and-go place. read more

Super cute coffee, matcha, and chai location! There's limited parking but if you come on a Sunday morning, there's free street parking. The local honey matcha is perfect; just the right amount of sweet and it has that subtle honey flavor. They also have small bites like banana bread and other pastries. 10/10, Definitely worth stopping by! read more

Great little find, super cute little shack set up. Good selection. The only draw back, neighborhood. A bit off the beaten path, but great if headed out for a North Shore drive or coming in to enjoy the beach. read more
100000% recommend the coconut cloud matcha. I was obsessed! I wish I found this place earlier during my trip so I could have gotten it every day! The coconut cloud also had vanilla I believe and all the flavors together were AMAZING! Loved it. Thank you!!! Parking is not really available in the lot for them since it's a little shed/walk up, but we took the bus! read more

Love it came here after work for a matcha fix My friend and I both ordered the cloud match and it was delicious. It's definitely on the sweeter side which I'm a fan of so I give it a 9/10 my friend who prefers more less sweet drink gave it 7/10. It's a cute little outdoor shop in little plaza and by apartments. The parking is very tight but I was able to find one. I came maybe about an hr after they opened and I was able to order and get my drink within 10-15mins. Can't wait to come back and try the other drinks and little snacks they have. read more

The coconut cloud matcha (w oatmilk)!!!! When I was on vacation in Hawaii, I ordered that same drink three times. The coconut flavor paired well with the matcha and I always think back on this matcha place. The people were friendly and you can order it from the cute little truck, though parking was kinda limited. I've tried their other matcha but I found myself sticking to the coconut cloud matcha bc of its unique taste!! read more

Came back again and I'm blown away. I think this is one of my favorite places to pick up a fall drink and lemonade! ***What we ordered **Honey Cinnamon Latte ~ (10/10) This was a solid 10. I loved that you can taste all elements of flavors that they added. For example, the honey is not overwhelming and not making the drink too sweet. Also the cinnamon taste was definitely there. Normally when I go to other cafes they always hold back, but you can actually taste the cinnamon! I would highly recommend getting this!! **Mint Ginger Honey Lemonade ~ (10/10) I wanted to try the lemonade again, but make it more sweeter and this time it was on point. I think I definitely like my lemonades more sweeter just because this was a little too tart for me. But overall this was super good and refreshing on a hot day. Also I loved that the mint and ginger gave the lemonade a nice kick! I would also recommend this to anyone looking for a good lemonade! Overall, I would definitely come back again. All the drinks are super good and refreshing. Staff is also friendly! Can't wait to come back to get my coffee fix here again. read more

Usually so good and enjoy getting coffee from here. Parking kinda sucks but so close to Waikiki kinda to be expected. Chill quick service. I've been getting the maple mist special lately and the girl today completely made a different drink and when I asked her about it she said it's just a different cup when clearly it's made differently. Bummed she lied and didn't remake it right but will probably be back just not so soon. read more

First time trying Better Daze, location is in a small parking lot in Kapahulu. I went at about 8:45am and it wasn't too busy. I ordered the coconut cloud matcha with whole milk. The matcha quality was ok, it was my first time trying matcha with coconut water and it was a little underwhelming for me. On the other hand, the coconut whipped cream they had on top was AMAZING. I wish i could just have a whole cup of just the cream by itself. read more
