Notes: I'll start off by saying that I'm no coffee connoisseur. Some people have a real passion and taste buds for it. I like a good coffee flavor that pairs well with whatever sweeteners and creams places use. Pros: not a huge menu but still just the right amount of variety; decent amount of random merch; coffee "kits" available for purchase (best drink ever). Favorite drink BY FAR Banana Pudding Best Drink Ever. Cons: the merch is pricy, the best drink ever instructions don't match based on the way the drink was described by one of the employees, they said "shots" but the instructions describe the drink just as coffee and ounces. They are inconsistent. This was the first place that introduced me to Better Buzz, which has since become a new favorite coffee chain that's one of my go-tos. It's been a while since I've been to this particular location, but it happened to be nearby when I needed a midday pickup. I decided to try the cookies and cream seasonal offering, and I found that it was sort of watery without much flavor with melted ice, and it's not like the drink had been sitting there waiting either. I also wasn't given a cookie in it until I explicitly asked for one. Overall it was just a fairly disappointing experience for a new favorite. TIP: Other locations seem more consistent, but I may just chalk it up to one bad day. read more

I have to drop this down to a 3.5 stars because of the long wait at the front. As the only customer waiting inside it took over 5mins of just standing there to be acknowledged. The place is definitely geared towards app orders and their drive through. We saw the best coffee on the menu and had to give that a try since it was named best coffee, not was it not. It was like a store bought bitter cold brew over ice with very little flavor. We went back up and ordered the horchata latte which was definitely a better option. Over all I'll give it a stop if it's not busy but a donut shop coffee would be a best stop if they have any kind of line honestly. read more

I've been to this location a few times and it has been good every time. The times I've ordered in person, the workers are friendly. I went today and ordered the cinnamon pistachio best drink ever and it's now one of my favorites! It was just sooo good! I ordered through the app and it was ready before the app even told me. So cute but also so mid :') Visited this location after a workout right next door at fort fitness, and the location is so cute, so convenient! This was mid December so you'll see I posted their seasonal items. I got a Lavender latte that tasted like an earl grey (wasn't complaining but not what I expected lol) The beverage was luke warm which also was a buzzkill (pun totally intended) Their pastries looked so cute, and their little patio was perfect for a sit down. Sorry this sucked. Very nice modern interior and friendly employees but the product is just unacceptable. Cheap beans but what's even worse is the type of Oat Milk they use here. Hot drinks come out pretty terrible. Dear staff, in case if you're reading this review, please switch to Oatly or Chiobanni brands. Sure it will cost a few cents extra per container but the drinks at least will taste better. One of the first concerns I had when I walked in this coffee shop was that it did not have any coffee smell inside. Turned out I wasn't wrong. My cappuccino wasn't good at all. I came in one day with high expectations on this place, a lot of friends and family have recommended this place but wow. The most low energized and sad people i've seen working here. Don't get me wrong the coffee and pastry's are really good here, but man it's a shame to see people like that bringing a place down! i'm not certain it's even on the crew team, I believe it's starting with the manager. Didn't grab her name but she has blue hair I was astonished when i found out she was the manager for that work place! I work in the food industry as a server and one thing is certain, never bring your outside problems to the work place, (which i'm assuming is happening with the attitude and low charisma she was showing with her service AS A MANAGER) I hope this review can be reflected in a good way for this location for the future. Needed a nice pick me up so I stopped at the drive through around 1:30 and got the lavender honey matcha. It was so good! Not too sweet and the matcha has a really good taste. Good Feta Avocado on multigrain! Big enough to fill my tummy and satisfying. The avocado was generous and fresh topped with cherry tomatoes and feta cheese. Better Buzz has been on my list for a while to try. I ended up in the Laguna Hills location this morning. I ordered the cold brew with the seasonal cold foam, which is pumpkin. Yay, pumpkin... love it. It is a very good drink. The cold brew tastes fresh, and the cold foam is not overwhelmingly sweet. They have a very large pastry case that is brought in fresh everyday. There's also a food and açai menu. There's a drive-through that is very busy however they have a lot of employees and the wait is very manageable. Casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good service. I had no idea this place existed until I met a fellow Yelper who mentioned about this place. Thanks Steve O.!!! I didn't need to get hooked on something like this but here I am! They got me good. It was love at first sip. Service here is consistently fast, efficient, and friendly. My drinks are always ready well before the promised ready time. The drive-thru also doesn't come with a long wait even if there's a 5 car pileup in front of me. I love the variety of drinks they offer and how customizable each items are. I am looking forward to trying out all of their other drinks and food items in the coming days. The only gripe I have is their inconsistent drink quality. The caramel vanilla best drink ever I get sometimes comes with absolutely no cold foam whatsoever in it or has 2-inches of gap on top. I don't order my drinks without ice so I hope this doesn't happen again where it's just not topped up. The drinks are otherwise delicious and I enjoy them very much. read more

This is a semi regular coffee stop for us but what makes it not on my regular rotation is the sweetness. We order 1/4 for all the drinks we try and some drinks are still SO sweet. I've had to keep a log of what drinks I can drink at 1/4 sweet and which drinks I can't, so shouldn't order again. Service is usually good and the quality is good. I love that the have a kids size for hot chocolate. I will say my last visit was disappointing as we ordered a kids size hot chocolate 1/4 and kids temp. The drink was WAY too sweet and way too hot. I wanted to update my previous review because I think it's just as important to recognize when a business listens to feedback and makes positive changes. The very next morning after posting my review, I arrived at Better Buzz and noticed that the district manager was there. Since then, I've definitely seen a big improvement. The store seems to be flowing much better, there is better staffing and coverage, the store has been clean, and supplies have been consistently stocked. I also mobile order my coffee and food ahead of time, and lately my entire order has been ready together when I arrive, which has made a huge difference. I really appreciate how quickly management and the team responded and jumped on board to make changes in the right direction. There are some great employees at this location who work very hard, and it's nice to see things feeling much more organized and back on track. The one concern from my original review that still really needs attention is the air conditioning. Today it's 110 degrees outside, and the AC has been down for quite some time. It's also leaking, and there are buckets in the lobby collecting water. Since the lobby is fairly small, having buckets and water in the customer area also creates a potential safety hazard. More importantly, I can't imagine the employees having to work an eight-hour shift in these temperatures, especially those working in the kitchen. I understand that it's extremely hot right now and repair companies may be busy, but this has been going on for some time. I really hope getting the AC repaired becomes a priority for the employees as well as for customers who want to sit inside the café and enjoy their coffee or get some work done. Overall, I'm very encouraged by the improvements I've seen and really appreciate how quickly my original concerns were taken seriously. I'll definitely continue coming here and hope to see the store stay on this positive track! read more

This location is primarily a drive-thru but you can order inside too; it's just very small. There is one table inside and 5 or 6 under a covered patio at the front entrance. I visited on a weekday morning where the drive-thru was constantly busy (but the line was kept moving) and few people were coming inside to order. I decided on an iced vanilla latte and an apple pie pop tart and took them to a patio table to consume. The iced vanilla latte was excellent. The sweetness took away any bitterness the coffee may have had yet both coffee and vanilla flavors blended for perfect synergy. The apple pie was like an unfrosted pop tart but the exterior tasted just like pie crust with the delicious apple filling making it a handheld pie. My minor complaint was too much ice in the latte. And as much as I'd love more filling in that pop tart I could tell it was already at maximum capacity. Staff here were very friendly with sparkling smiles and I have to mention that I was impressed by how clean the place was. read more
