Sorry this sucked. Very nice modern interior and friendly employees but the product is just unacceptable. Cheap beans but what's even worse is the type of Oat Milk they use here. Hot drinks come out pretty terrible. Dear staff, in case if you're reading this review, please switch to Oatly or Chiobanni brands. Sure it will cost a few cents extra per container but the drinks at least will taste better. One of the first concerns I had when I walked in this coffee shop was that it did not have any coffee smell inside. Turned out I wasn't wrong. My cappuccino wasn't good at all. Needed a nice pick me up so I stopped at the drive through around 1:30 and got the lavender honey matcha. It was so good! Not too sweet and the matcha has a really good taste. So cute but also so mid :') Visited this location after a workout right next door at fort fitness, and the location is so cute, so convenient! This was mid December so you'll see I posted their seasonal items. Good Feta Avocado on multigrain! Big enough to fill my tummy and satisfying. The avocado was generous and fresh topped with cherry tomatoes and feta cheese. I called to speak to someone and halfway through the employee hangs up and then doesn't answer when I call back. This is how you guys do Customer service ? This is a semi regular coffee stop for us but what makes it not on my regular rotation is the sweetness. We order 1/4 for all the drinks we try and some drinks are still SO sweet. I've had to keep a log of what drinks I can drink at 1/4 sweet and which drinks I can't, so shouldn't order again. Service is usually good and the quality is good. Made a quick stop for matcha and coffee and this place was a hit! The matcha was perfect and had a lavender cold foam. It wasn't too sweet and not bitter at all. Better Buzz has been on my list for a while to try. I ended up in the Laguna Hills location this morning. I ordered the cold brew with the seasonal cold foam, which is pumpkin. Yay, pumpkin... love it. It is a very good drink. The cold brew tastes fresh, and the cold foam is not overwhelmingly sweet. They have a very large pastry case that is brought in fresh everyday. There's also a food and açai menu. There's a drive-through that is very busy however they have a lot of employees and the wait is very manageable. Casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good service. I had no idea this place existed until I met a fellow Yelper who mentioned about this place. Thanks Steve O.!!! I didn't need to get hooked on something like this but here I am! They got me good. It was love at first sip. Service here is consistently fast, efficient, and friendly. My drinks are always ready well before the promised ready time. The drive-thru also doesn't come with a long wait even if there's a 5 car pileup in front of me. I love the variety of drinks they offer and how customizable each items are. I am looking forward to trying out all of their other drinks and food items in the coming days. The only gripe I have is their inconsistent drink quality. The caramel vanilla best drink ever I get sometimes comes with absolutely no cold foam whatsoever in it or has 2-inches of gap on top. I love this place so much every time I'm in the area I always come to better buzz! Lo and her team always does such a great job.

This location is primarily a drive-thru but you can order inside too; it's just very small. There is one table inside and 5 or 6 under a covered patio at the front entrance. I visited on a weekday morning where the drive-thru was constantly busy (but the line was kept moving) and few people were coming inside to order. I decided on an iced vanilla latte and an apple pie pop tart and took them to a patio table to consume. The iced vanilla latte was excellent. The sweetness took away any bitterness the coffee may have had yet both coffee and vanilla flavors blended for perfect synergy. The apple pie was like an unfrosted pop tart but the exterior tasted just like pie crust with the delicious apple filling making it a handheld pie. My minor complaint was too much ice in the latte. And as much as I'd love more filling in that pop tart I could tell it was already at maximum capacity. Staff here were very friendly with sparkling smiles and I have to mention that I was impressed by how clean the place was. read more

Two talking to each other and one person on the drive thru. Who knows what the other was doing?? Don't go here if you want quick service. I also just saw the girl add too much whip and wiped it with her finger and lick it. Disgusting. Hard to support the smaller businesses when they don't deliver. I was disappointed. I did an online order. I placed the order at 6:43 am. I ordered two: drinks 1 banana pudding best drink ever and 1 mango strawberry refresher. I received a text message at 6:47 am saying, "Better Buzz Laguna Hills: Your order is ready at the designated pickup area." I go in. Drinks weren't ready. I was okay. Let's wait a bit more. 6:55 am. Still nothing. I go to the counter. They said we are still working on your drinks. I was okay. Mind you, there was a guy in there who had ordered two ice cold brews. We had been waiting for 30 minutes. 7:00 am, finally, my banana pudding best drink ever came out. I told the girl I still have one more drink. Yet again, she told me they're working on it. 7:05 am, still nothing. Finally, I received the drink at 7:10 am. So disappointed in their timing, and the drinks were not good. OMGeeeee! What took me so long? Well I'll tell ya. I was a SB nut and I still love SB but choose to no longer give them my money for personal reasons. That's ok though. It forced me to go out and try independent small business cafes instead. I'm glad I cut that cord. We were actually headed to another coffee joint when we passed by this cute little, bright yellow drive-thru. We turned that car around so fast since I've had Better Buzz Coffee bookmarked in what seems like forever. We only did the drive thru this time around. The kids were cranky, so drive thru it had to be. Next time will be an order from inside and probably some shopping for mugs and coffee beans. The young lady who took our order was so polite and very personable. I loved how they addressed us by name. That was a nice touch and made you feel at home. I downloaded the app which works like the SB app, where you can order and customize as much as you want. She was very helpful with our questions and the app. What we ordered this time: -Lavender tea latte with oat milk and 1/2 sweetness -mocha These drinks were both so delicious.
