WOW! The three ladies from Bethel Cleaning Services just left my house 20 minutes ago after working their butts off for more than 3 hours-- this was my first cleaning with them (and embarrassingly, my first cleaning in a loooong time) and HOLY MOLEY the place looks and smells amaaaaazing. I am absolutely tickled... I am literally walking from room to room singing because I am just so damn happy. "Do you think you'd want to bring us back for ongoing cleaning?" "YES. YES! TAKE MY MONEY!!" Such friendly, kind, hardworking ladies... I absolutely trust them in my home and look forward to feeling this happy every two weeks. read more

Extremely disappointed with this maid service. They were in and out of my 3,200-square-foot home in under an hour, which should've been the first red flag. The bathtubs were still dirty, the floors barely touched, and the kitchen counters not cleaned at all. Worse yet, it was clear that nothing had been dusted properly--surfaces still had visible dust, and absolutely nothing was moved to clean underneath or behind. It felt more like a quick surface wipe than an actual cleaning. For what they charge, this level of service is completely unacceptable. I wouldn't use them again and don't recommend them to anyone expecting a thorough or even halfway decent job. read more

Reached out and haven't heard anything back in over a week. Tried calling as well. Sad because I was really looking forward to using their services :( read more

We used Bethel Cleaning Services for a thorough cleaning (or what they referred to as their "spring cleaning") prior to listing our house for sale. We were so thrilled by the incredible service they provided and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service in this area. The crew of 4 arrived right on time and brought all cleaning supplies with them. They were all extremely friendly and polite. They are also pet friendly which was great because our dog was very curious and followed them around during parts of the cleaning. Thankfully they had no problem with that and the dog never got in their way or bothered them. As far as the quality of the service, I'm not sure you can find much better. They were so extremely thorough and cleaned every nook, cranny, window sill, and corner you could find. The house looked amazing for our listing photos and our open house. When all is said and done, I would recommend them for anyone looking for a cleaning service. Our only disappointment is that we're moving out of the area, otherwise we'd have them come by the house every week! read more

Without a doubt the best and most professional cleaning service around! We have been using them for 3 years and our house has never looked better! We are a family of 6 with 2 babies and 2 teenagers so you can imagine the mess! By the time they leave every week our house is sparkling. If your looking for an honest, reliable, hard working cleaning service, call Bethel Cleaning service I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

I hired Bethel Cleaning to deep clean my dusty and pretty gross home. They sent a team of three who came in and scrubbed my house from top to bottom. I was so impressed with their professionalism and attention to details. They even scrubbed dust from the carpets at the bottom of the baseboards! I'm so happy that my house is the cleanest it's been in a long time. The owner got back to me right away after leaving a message on Yelp. She was very thorough in answering all of my questions when I inquired about their service. The cost for a deep cleaning I think was very reasonable considering the amount of work that needed to be done. I'm very happy! Thank you so much! read more

Hmm...so where to I begin?? So I was initially happy with the communication with Beth about potential services for a deep cleaning and was happy to hear that should would accommodate me because 2 people canceled. My appointment was at 3:30pm yesterday. I leave my job early, which is not something I usually do and I told her this, to get to my apartment at 3pm. AS SOON as I'm getting out of my car I get a message saying that they ladies wouldn't be there until 430 or 5pm. Initially a bit upset, I got over it and waited for them despite having rushed to meet them on time. At the same time that I'm discussing their tardiness I state to her that it's fine if they come as long as they will finish the deep cleaning, otherwise if there is a better day please let me know. Her response was "They will be there and they will do a good job". So they arrive around arrive, I walk them around the apartment and then I leave, only to receive a text an hour later saying that they can't complete the job today, and that they would complete the rest of it the next day. I ask why and told her that she just told me they would complete it today. She said they needed a wetvac to clean the window seals...but they didn't even complete the other parts of apartment (kitchen, vaccuum, etc) so it wasn't just that they needed a wet vac..they needed more time in general which I told her before they came if they couldn't complete today then maybe another day would be better! She offers me a $20 discount for the inconvenience and we agree that she can come back the next day. I ask her about payment and she says I can pay by card or leave a check. I told her I would prefer to pay by card and that I would call in the morning with my information. I call in the morning to give my payment... only to receive a text hours later saying that there would be a 2.5% charge "is that okay?". I ask her why she is just now mentioning a fee and she says that it states in on the squareup website and that they are a micro business so they pass the fee on to their customers. She then offers for me to pay by check...well duhh... I would have if I had've known there was a fee. Me being at work and not carrying my checkbook around I had no other way to pay but by card... I'm like ... okay FINE, I'll pay! The next question was... can I pay by Facebook? UMMMM NO!!!! I have never had a company ask me to pay something by facebook especially when I told her I'd pay over the phone. Facebook? Really? So I can have someone take all my credit card information? No way...!So I promptly emailed her and canceled the rest of the services. It was just too much trouble and work for some cleaning services! I mean, come on now! I've had plenty of cleaning services in my life and never have I had so much trouble. She of course doesn't even honor the "discount" that she offered me for all my troubles... which after the experience I had.. I wasn't even surprised. I wish them all the best... the ladies did a good job of cleaning.. I was actually going to use them on a monthly basis... but the company lacks professionalism and as busy as I am I just can't deal with all that extra stuff! Can anyone recommend cleaners in Wilmington that are reliable and professional???? UPDATE: So at 9:56pm on a Thursday night... I was sent a long text message from the owner asking me to "tell the truth". So here goes.. the only thing I got wrong was that the 2.5% fee was not on the company's website but on the square up website (corrected above)... lolol OK! It didn't matter! She was not upfront about the fees making it suspicious. and on top of all the other issues it was just a mess Oh and in this long, harassing message, sent to me at almost 10pm (Highly inappropriate!), she wanted me to point out that my apartment was "needy"... well DUH!!!! That's why I hired a cleaning company. I stressed several times that I needed a deep cleaning so I'm not sure why that was surprising. I would never recommend anyone do business with her. SMH! read more

This is the first time I have ever had my house cleaned by a service, but getting ready to sell and decided it needed a good deep clean. I saw the other excellent reviews for Bethel and decided to give her a try. Best decision I ever made. Dawn and her crew did such an excellent job!!!! It took a bit longer than we thought, but honestly, my house was neglected for awhile and it needed the time. The "girls" worked their butts off. I came back from an appointment and my house smelled and looked so so clean, it put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. So, Dawn, Beth and all the hard working ladies, thank you form the bottom of my heart. You guys are great! I would not hesitate to give Beth a 5 star recommendation. You won't be disappointed. read more

3 person crew on time professional. Beth, the owner, was in contact with me the whole time before they came about what time they would be there. Amazing deep cleaning fully scrubbed not just wiped or gone over. The team leader went over everything the other two did. Love the service, the women, the cleaning results, the speediness of the service, and welcome them every 3 weeks. They even fixed our television. Their skill in getting what used to take a whole day down to 2 hours is wonderful. They're a delight to have around. They're efficient and we would recommend them to anyone! Hired this company in April 2016 to clean my home. They did a good job cleaning and were very friendly until an issue occurred. In September 2016, the cleaning crew broke a picture frame in my home. It was one frame in a set of four. The owner originally agreed to reimburse me for all four frames and then took from early October to late December and multiple emails before I was eventually reimbursed for one frame. Ultimately, I had to look for a new cleaning service because I was not comfortable with this one in my home. read more
