WOW. I mean: WOWWWWW. I cannot remember the last time our house was this clean…read more We had our first clean this morning -- we scheduled a full-on deep clean -- and I am floored by the great work Kelsey and her husband did here today. They did all of the normal things, sure, and the bathrooms and carpets and such are all spic and span. But they dusted everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. They got every single dog hair out of our sofa, they washed windows, cleaned every glass door to crystal clarity, washed walls and every baseboard and every bit of trim. They did the insides of our kitchen appliances, asked what we needed and took care and time to do the job right. And the best part? I've just finished a long work day and one thing I'm not doing right now is cleaning my kitchen. I'm able to relax, take a deep breath (it smells amazing in here, btw), and just be. That's worth the cost (which was absolutely reasonable!) all on its own.

I outreached Renae's All Purpose Wayz to clean my 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home on very short notice. I…read morehad recently had a surgery and family was coming in to visit. The goods: Renae's responded promptly and had one time slot that worked just right. Their quick response, time slot and review sold me. They brought all cleaning supplies and were very friendly. The cleaning was really thorough. Honestly, my house which is midway through a renovation, was never so clean. They were here for several hours making sure everything was just right and they offered a walk-through at the end to review their work. They also left a thank you card and thank you gifts that included, hand soap, sanitizer, face masks, tissues and air freshener (see the photo). The only down side for me was the price point for a small home and knowing others had estimated less (only had two bedrooms of the three cleaned so I could keep my dog in one of the rooms-my decision). Regardless, I'd hire them back in a minute due to their professionalism, extremely thorough work and great personalities.

I paid Elinor's Maids $300 for a final cleaning of a small, 1,300-square-foot townhome that had…read morejust been painted top to bottom, including the baseboards and doors, and had new carpet installed throughout. The house was already reasonably clean, so the main focus was supposed to be wiping out the refrigerator and cabinets and thoroughly cleaning the one-and-a-half bathrooms. The crew did an okay job overall, but I was very disappointed in Elinor insisting this was a 6 man-hour job (she actually initially said 7 1/2 man hours were needed, but I pushed back.) For experienced cleaners, this was a two to three hour job for one person. The 3-person crew worked extremely slowly. For example, one person spent more than an hour simply Windexing the inside of four small windows. The windows did not need to be cleaned beyond the glass--the frames and sills had just been freshly painted and were already clean. After spending so much time on the windows, they spent almost no time on the floors, taking literally less than 10 minutes to mop the LVP flooring and tile in the upstairs bath. They also left debris in the kitchen sink and a visible ring in the toilet of the 1/2 bath. Based on my experience, I would not hire this company without first getting a very specific scope of work, including an estimate of how much time will be spent on each task and how many people will be assigned to the job. I would also ask whether they offer a satisfaction guarantee and exactly what that guarantee covers.
