I normally drink Heineken Light, but they didn't have 12 pack, so I took a chance on the Amstel. I tried to drink the Amstel but after 4 nasty beers. I took the remaining beers back to the store & the elder clerk told me that was the brew date not the sell date & refused to swap them out. I walked out & threw the beer away. I'll never darken the doors of this place again as they will sell you expired beer with no regret for customer health or wellbeing. This rating should be 0000 stars. You've been warned.

Somewhere along the line, they expanded into the big-box concept. I've been in several of these large stores over the years from Austin to Dallas and they are all a little different. Seems like for a while they tried to be everything to everybody including gourmet food items, cigar humidors, huge liquor brands, and a varied selection. but, somewhere along the way reality set in and these same stores now have somewhat of an empty feeling. Enter the newer stores that have been scaled down. While still having a pretty good selection of liquor, the specialty items have been cut back to some cheeses, frozen pizza, etc. i needed limes the other day and they had none. Plenty of lemons. When ask of an associate he replied "no limes today Mexico won't send them to us". he then just turned and walked away. The rest of the staff was aloof also including a lifeless checkout person. Not sure ill go back to this location. I hate feeling unappreciated. Looks like they got too big for their britches and are shrinking in business and common courtesy. Think Ill go back to supporting my mom and pop down the street.
