Thank you Ayres Hotel for allowing the Rialto Democratic Club to host their Who's Who Awards there…read more The banquet room we were in was a little snug for the number of quest but still very nice. This was my first time being in this hotel. I have to say, it's nice having a decent place to stay when people are visiting Rialto. This hotel has a full open bar. This was nice because the event we were attending did not. If you're in the area, definitely check this place out. All the staff were super helpful! I plan on actually staying there next time.

The bathroom was also excellent and clean and the shower head is superb! What I did not like: They do not offer drinking water at the lobby, they only offered it through the juice machine during the breakfast, which was served from 6-9am on Monday morning. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, boiled eggs (not peeled), sliced bread, plain bagels and breakfast sausage, packaged instant oatmeal, you could make your own waffle as well. All the food seemed very low quality for the hotel's price range. The muffins they had were very sticky, and the eggs overcooked. Nothing tasted good. They do not offer fruit on the breakfast bar and they do not offer free drinking water at the lobby. Before the check out, I went to the juice machine to try to serve myself some water and the machine was turned off. They have a fridge near the front desk and the price for each water bottle is $4. I checkout and a minute later I purchased the same water at the gas station for $1. I paid $162.60 for one night and included complementary breakfast. I have stayed at other hotels with same amenities and the breakfast is excellent, they provide water 24/7, and they are only $130/night. Bottom line is that if you are fine paying a $162.70/night and paying $4 for each water bottle you need throughout your stay, this hotel offers a very comfortable bed with elegant and crisp linens, but if you want to enjoy the food and love to drink water, I recommend you finding a different place.

We live about 40 miles from this location and would not usually have occasion to stay here…read more However, we had 10 hours of meetings in the area on the same day and did not want to drive home exhausted (we are both in our late 60's) so we booked two nights. We ran into several deferred maintenance issues during our stay (treadmills in the fitness areas with slipping belts, "hot" breakfast that was lukewarm, plunger in the bathroom sink that was inoperable), but these were mere annoyances, but one major problem was a deal breaker--the shower mixer did not work. There was hot water in the sink, but not in the shower. Because we were pressed for time, there was no alternative except for me to take a cold shower. My sweet wife opted to wet a wash cloth in the sink and do the best she could to get ready. She put on her beautiful dress and we headed downstairs. I stopped at the front desk at 8:15 AM to speak to the manager on duty and report the problem so we could have hot water the next day. There was no manager on duty. I asked the front desk clerk to call him/her. She did--he answered the phone but refused to speak to me. He told her to tell me to stop by the desk at 10:00 AM when he arrived for work. I explained that I would be in meetings all day and could not return to speak to him. The clerk asked me what the problem was, I told her I also emphasized my displeasure that the manger would not extend the courtesy of a conversation to a Diamond Select member (Best Western's highest tier). When we returned late that night and the problem was not fixed. We checked out of the hotel, and drove home. My primary complaint is the non-responsiveness of the manager, and the desk clerk did not put in a work order to fix the problem (which I confirmed with the manger on duty when we checked out). Stuff breaks, things go wrong, I get it. What is unacceptable is to not even listen to a loyal customer's complaints. I found the rest of the staff to be friendly and helpful, especially the manager on duty in the evening.

I don't often write reviews, but this stay deserves one. The Ayres Hotel Redlands is genuinely one…read moreof the nicest hotels I've stayed at in a long time -- the lobby is gorgeous, the room was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. I was seriously impressed with how clean and well-kept the whole property was. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, and the location was great too -- close to the Packing District, easy freeway access, and a quick Uber to the nearby casino. We did run into a billing mix-up related to Expedia, but a staff member named Ariana helped sort it out and made sure it was resolved. Really appreciated her help. One small note: our coffee maker didn't have sugar or creamer, but the front lobby had us covered, so no big deal. My only real critique isn't specific to this hotel -- it's more of a hospitality industry thing. Checkout was at 12pm and check-in at 3pm, which means guests never actually get a full 24 hours even though that's essentially what you're paying for. I'd love to see hotels move toward at least a 24-hour stay window, even if that just means pushing checkout to 1pm. Overall though, this hotel is an excellent example of what a hotel brand should be, and I hope their other locations hold to the same standard. Highly recommend.

Staff were kind throughout the process leading onto the date of reservation. The place was nice and clean and ready for our stay. Staff were welcoming and supportive. The bed was comfy and there were extra pillows in the closet. I wish we would have had time to use the swimming pool. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
