My bf and i were driving for ages the previous day and i was super tired and my head was not working. Gabriela was so helpful, she alerted the front desk and even helped me call my phone. With her help I traced back where I misplaced it. She's so amazing and so kind to do that! I appreciate it so much. I was so frantic since we are so many miles away and going on a trip to Sequoia and without my phone we would definitely be in a lot of trouble. My wife and I were driving up from Oakhurst during our week-long National Parks trip. Our AirBnb host contacted us stating their water had been shut off and there was uncertainty if it would be turned back on by the time we arrived. We decided to find an alternative place to stay for the night and during our search came across Best Western. Customer Service assisted us quickly and thankfully they had a room available for us. Reserving was quick and easy. When we arrived we checked in at the front desk--it also went quick and smooth, with no issues whatsoever. Pricing was fair for what we were getting and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Tv had plenty of channels to browse through, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. In the morning, before checking out, we went downstairs to their breakfast, included with our reservation, and it was basic, but good!! We filled up on waffles, eggs and sausage, though they also carry cereals, yogurt, bagels and other items. Overall had a wonderful experience here and would definitely come back! read more

What a wonderful place to say. A little more pricy then I had hoped to pay. The room was a suite. Great for us as we spent the entire day there as we waited for the evening wedding. It was so roomy, clean, and comfortable. We loved the living room. They came with both a microwave and a fridge. They serve a good breakfast with lots of variety. You can eat in the dining room or take it back to the room. There is also a very clean gym full of all the equipment you will need for your work out. We brought our track team down form Northern California for a meet at Exeter High School. We had 30 athletes and 10 rooms so we had a large party and large reservation. From reserving the rooms to our stay, things couldn't have gone better. Sarina (sp?) at the front desk was so pleasant to work with and really made our experience top notch. She was so helpful and accommodating, she is the reason we will be back to stay here any time we're in the area. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. It seems like it was renovated recently and updated so it is very nice. The continental breakfast has a good variety of options with some hot fresh options and then your standard bagel, muffin, fruit assortment. After my husband went to the front desk to let them know their only option to us was to move to the room directly next to us. At this time it was already midnight and my kids were sleeping. Very clean and a newer looking Best Western in the town of Exeter. We stayed here as probably many people, to start our journey to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The hotel is right off of Hwy 65 and was easy to find. Ben checked us in and was very nice. Rooms are large and have all the basic amenities. We enjoyed the Direct TV cable service and the bed was comfortable with a lot of pillows. Breakfast was free and had many options to choose from to start the day visiting the parks. Highly recommended when visiting Exeter and the nearby national parks! read more

I stayed here over a weekend and was throughly impressed. I travel quite a bit in the area to visit family and this is the best hotel I have found in Tulare County. I once worked in the hotel industry and I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the service level of the staff. From housekeeping to breakfast everyone was fantastic. Breakfast is also really good. Pancakes, sausage, & eggs tasted really good. Not any powdered junk. Lastly want fo give a shout out to DANIEL from the night shift. He was super polite and very helpful. I stupidly forgot my toothbrush and he brought me one within minutes of calling the front desk. I highly recommend this hotel and if you plan on staying in Tulare...stay here! read more

Decided a romantic getaway from LA was just what the doctor ordered for Valentine's and thought that a weekend in the national parks would do the trick. Now, camping is romantic. But a hotel room with in-suite Jacuzzi? Now that's a couples trip! We reserved the Jacuzzi room on Priceline for about $140. On Valentines weekend, on a weekend when all the national parks have free entry, well that's a phenomenal deal in my opinion! I arrived at the king of the Best Western, ready for my Jacuzzi to malfunction or spit out brown water or SOMETHING that would ruin the experience. Nope. Just a perfect, hot, awesome Jacuzzi in the middle of the room. Brilliant. Props for being 30 minutes drive to Sequoia National Park and for the stellar breakfast bar with scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. There are many closer lodging options to the park, but I wasn't annoyed with a 30 minute drive. Only downfall is there is NOTHING nearby, aka no walking distance gas station where I can fill up on cheap beer and Cheeze-its. No take out. No drug store. That's all about a 10-15 minute drive. So plan ahead. I will most definitely stay at this sparkling clean gem of a Best Western again if I'm in the Sequoia area! read more

The most notable thing to me was that this hotel gets serious about its handicapped rails in the bathroom. These were the sturdiest I've ever seen. And they come in handy if you've removed the no-slip mat from the bathtub. That is to say, that mat is there for a reason. The tub is slippery. I didn't try out the unheated outdoor pool. Call me a chicken. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was the Best Western standard continental with sausage and eggs. The front desk service did stand out as being very professional. I came to Tulare County for business, as it was my very 1st time that I've ever visited the town of Exeter. The company I was working for placed me at this hotel, and I was satisfied with their service. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were bigger than normal for a Best Western, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel also had a pool, hot tub and a gym; but all three features were ultra small. My favorite part about this hotel was their continental breakfast. Even though their dining room was also extremely small, they contained more variety of food than your typical small hotel. Surprisingly, they had a waffle maker! Most places that has a waffle maker are usually the larger and more upscale hotels, so I definitely took advantage of that option. Overall, I would give this Best Western a 3.5 star rating, but I will round up since I was pleasantly surprise by my satisfaction of this hotel. I was expecting a lot less from a very small town without many overnight options, so I was happy with their service. read more

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend while we attended a nearby wedding. Room was large and clean! Great water pressure and water was hot almost immediately. :) Only complaints are that our hairdryer didn't work and the coffee cups in the room are too thin (liquid went right through). Can't believe how comfortable, affordable, clean and properly appointed this hotel is. Not a normal visitor to Best Western's but this location has changed my perceptions. The staff members that I engaged couldn't be nicer. I arrived very late at night and hotel was full. Still had safe and well lit parking nearby room. Once I opened the door was pleasantly surprised. The room was decorated Mickey and appeared fresh. Bed was comfortable and in-room fridge was large. All good to support a fine nights stay. Would rate a bit higher, but with not much food available nearby or within walking distance, you may depend on that fridge more than you normally would. This is a very nice place to stay in the greater Visalia, Three Rivers, Exeter area. This motel is a convenient (30 minutes to entrance) place to stay if you're heading to Sequoia NP. It's quiet and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful as well. We had plenty of tv channels, good internet and cell phone reception and the fridge and microwave in the room were clean and worked perfectly. The shower head had plenty of water pressure and the room had 4-6 lamps and a overhead light so the room was bright enough to read or work in if needed. We found the community of Exeter to be far superior to Visalia when it came to the quality (not quantity) of food options. read more

My party and I were in search of a hotel on our way to Sequioa NP, and we had had a good customer service experience two nights before, we didn't have a good one at Sure Stay by BW the night before so we were hesitant to stay at another BW....well, I'm glad we gave this spot a go. We called and the receptionist, Laura, was very courteous and answered all the questions we had. She also radiated a sense of trust over the phone. When we went from Visalia to Exeter to check-in, Laura was AMAZING! She asked about our preference for a room, and explained everything very clearly. The room was quiet, comfortable, the on,y thing that was not so good, was the heater. Upon turning it on, it released a strong dusty smell, but that was understandable and we decided to turn it off as the room was well insulated and the sheets kept up very warm. We had breakfast in the morning (they offer between 6-9am). And had caffeine and non-caffeine options which I appreciated because I don't drink caffeine. Checkout was easy since they had charged the night before. Something to keep in mind is that when we went, they only accepted cashless options.
