My partner and I came here for Christmas weekend, wanting to get away from the city, and we were not disappointed by our choice at all! The rooms are redecorated, the food Jackie serves is AMAZING and they are both so extremely hospitable! The location is really great because it is easy to get to the local shops and the park entrance. Very nice home with a river running through the back yard. Sharon the host was very nice and a fantastic cook. I stayed two nights, first breakfast was french toast and WOW.(best in my life no joke), second breakfast was a spinach frittata also Very good (I am going to try making it!). Most of the breakfasts come with a special jam or sirup that is home made. The home has a very hommy feel to it. The rooms are very nice and feel like a nice hotel room, but no TV (not that you need) Fresh baked brownies sat in the kitchen! Don't bring pets if going to the national parks they cant really do much! Hairdryer in the hall to share if you need! They have a deck on the second floor with a fridge and table/chairs for sharing with other guest (note a room does sit behind with a window) Did I mention FRESH baked brownies sat in the kitchen? read more

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding up in Three Rivers. Amazing hospitality and delicious breakfasts from a kind British couple - James and Jackie. Very cute yard and close to Slick Rock recreation area. It's about an hour drive from the main area of Sequoia, which makes it great for a day trip. Comfy beds, beautiful setting, free internet that is a bit slow (at least when we were there with a full house), but does the job. Definitely going to try to stay here again in the future. Suggestion: bring a bottle of something to share with the owners. They are great to hang out with. read more

BEWARE CANCELLATIONS! Response to Sharon's reply: I'm sure there are many yelpers who would appreciate this belated review. My purpose was not to harp on the past, but to share my useful experience with this business. Yes I got my refund, but the problem was the delay and the owners strong refutation of my word. I don't appreciate being accused of lying and with a raised voice and tone that she used. ------- About 4 years ago my bf and I made a reservation and provided a credit card to hold the reservation. I cancelled by phone before there would be any penalty. I specifically talked to a woman who graciously said no problem and cancelled my reservation. A few months later, on the night we had made our reservation, the woman calls asking why we were not there, and claims she never received our cancellation! I told her the day I called and she claimed that never took place. She charged our credit card in full. We of course tried to resolve the dispute privately with her and she wouldn't budge. We put in a claim with our credit card company and they refunded us. However she must have been in negotiations with the CC co. because they basically clawbacked and charged us again. I had to go to great lengths to retrieve the phone record of my call from my employer (because I made the call using the landline at my work). The woman refunded us privately after that. This was more than a month later. A lot of time wasted and stress incurred. We were really disappointed because although we had to cancel those dates, this hotel looked really nice from the website and we had hoped to go another time. Shattered! read more

James and Jackie are amazing!! Staying at their wonderful bed and breakfast (for 4 days/3 nights) was an awesome experience for us (me, hubby, and our 3 kids-ages 3, 7 and 9)! James and Jackie are the nicest and most approachable people. They interacted so well with our children, too. They played board games with them, read books to my little one and even hid Easter eggs for them (we were there on Easter Sunday)! I'm pretty picky about the places we stay, and their home is spotless and organized. They took over the b&b in December, but you'd think they'd been running their business for years. They have worked so diligently in fixing up the place and adding their own personal touches. It's homey and comfy but updated and modern at the same time (especially the bedrooms). The beds/bedding were comfortable. We slept very, very well here! Btw, they don't have any pets, which was important to me (I have cat allergies). I read in a previous post that there was a cat that lived on the premises. I came armed with lots of Benadryl, because I really wanted to stay here:) The breakfasts were to die for! We had the best food and the best coffee (available all day)! We were very spoiled and missed this place when we left:( Our kids were able to play in the backyard, while their parents were chilling by the river...beers in hand. Listening to the river was very calming and relaxing...as was our entire stay. We talked and talked and really got to know James and Jackie. I hope to visit them in the very near future. My kids were extremely sad about leaving and can't wait to go back. Neither can I! read more

Amazing B&B! The hosts were very welcoming and kind. They gave us really helpful advice on which trails to take in the Sequoia National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was great too. Our rooms were spacious and exceeded my expectations. There was a beautiful river in the back with a patio to relax on. Breakfast was delicious!! Really great cooking. One of the meals looked and tasted like it was from a 5-star restaurant. My family has a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. Their gluten free options were so good! Overall, I really recommend this place if you're coming to see the Sequoias!! read more

James and Jackie were excellent hosts! We stayed three nights over Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were up early before breakfast (typically served around 8 am), but James was up early asking us if we needed anything for our day. The house backs up to the river and provides an excellent retreat type feel in the backyard. The beds (we stayed in two different rooms during our stay) were very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend SRDBB for any trip to Sequoia National or Three Rivers in general. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here just before the holidays, and we were lucky enough to get a last-minute reservation. The B&B has really lovely shared space: a cozy living room with TV and a spacious kitchen/dining area with a high ceiling, big communal table and fireplace. They had coffee and a wide selection of teas available, including a chrysanthemum tea that I hadn't had since childhood! Breakfast was delicious as well - French toast made from croissants and a homemade syrup that was to die for. Both Sharon and Dan were pleasant and not overbearing conversationalists. We'll certainly return if we visit the area again! For those of you out there with cat allergies, they do have a (super adorable) feline who wanders about and is quite loving. This was our very first Bed and Breakfast experience and wow what an experience this was. James and Jackie greeted us with smiles. They offered a hand with our luggage, they provided us town information and maps for the park and many more. The property was spotless and beautiful. There was nothing out of place and the decor had meaning and purpose. The back of the house had a beautiful view of the river where we were allowed to just relax and do nothing. The house had two common rooms available for our use. Our room was facing the river and it was relaxing and calming at night. Now breakfast!!! We were lucky to have breakfast there for two mornings. The food served was great and delicious. It included fresh fruit and homemade warm meal. Jackie even offered her recipereat s to us. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Sequoia Riverdance. Sharon is extremely helpful and accommodating. She even made a special breakfast to accommodate my dietary restrictions. She's also very knowledgable about the local area and has a collection of maps and books about the region for guests to use. Her B&B is lovely-- clean, comfortable, quiet, and located only a short drive from the park entrance. We appreciated the free wifi, homemade brownies, flexible check-in time, and pleasant outdoor space. Our room was cozy and charming, with a soft queen-sized bed and a bathroom en suite. I'd recommend Sequoia Riverdance to anyone (or at least anyone without a cat allergy) looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay outside of Sequoia national park. read more

We had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend at Sequoia River Dance B & B with the plan to visit Sequoia National Park (also highly recommended for you to visit). We chose the B & B based on the reviews as well as the fact that our 70 lb Weimeraner was welcome as well! Sharon was the perfect host(ess) and the breakfasts (and coffee!) were delicious. We enjoyed breakfast in front of a huge wood burning fireplace. The first morning we had dutch baby pancakes and the second morning we had a spinach/feta frittata. Both were so amazing and Sharon amiably offered the recipes. :) Our room was really comfortable and the antique brass bed - very cool. This bed and breakfast sits right beside the river and has a gorgeous backyard where you can sit at a table or some lounge chairs and relax by the river. The house is huge and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and well kept. Sharon was so lovely. She made us amazing brownie cookies the night we arrived and then made us really great omelettes in the morning for breakfast with toast and fresh fruit. She was very friendly and talked to us for a long time about places to see and what we should and where we should eat locally. We had marvelous stay with James and Jackie's place. This is only 16 mins away from Sequoia National Park. Backyard has river and nice garden. My wife and I made a last minute reservation at the Sequoia River Cabin. After a simple "Google" of B&B's near Sequoia, I am glad I stumbled on this! We absolutely loved the cabin! It sat right on the river, had a full kitchen, a very cozy living area, and an outdoor jacuzzi bathtub!! It was the perfect little weekend getaway for my wife and I!! Our last night, as we sat out on the deck eating the dinner we cooked, a beautiful 8-point buck came right across the grass area near the creek. It was perfect. We will definitely be back as soon as we can to try and enjoy a winter weekend!! I'd say the only downfall is yes, it's on the main highway, but they include a nice fan in the bedroom which drowns out any noise in the mornings. We have no complaints other than we wish we could've stayed a little longer. read more

My cousin and I stayed here a few months ago on our way driving back from Mammoth Lakes, for our next stop at Sequoia Forest and we were extremely happy with everything. Our room was clean, relaxing, bright, and breakfast was just to die for. Everything was beyond delicious! The river was just a few steps away from the back door, with chairs and a table. I've been craving one particular thing Jackie made with eggs and cheese, I just wish I knew what it was called - it was awesome! Both James and Jackie were very nice and welcoming. You will enjoy yourselves if you stay here, from the luxurious linens on the bed to the wonderfully appointed rooms. Breakfast is very hearty and there's always coffee, water and snacks available during the day and evening. We enjoyed our stay, James and Jackie are great hosts. We were there during the long drought, so the creek behind the house was dry. I can imagine when it's full, it's a beautiful sound and sight. Such a pleasant experience - we are SO glad we came here instead of a Best Western farther out of town! Not only is it about 15 mins from park entrance, but Jackie and James are such lovely and warm hosts. The rooms/beds/bathrooms were extremely clean and tidy. The sheet were super soft. Jackie made a wonderful breakfast of fresh fruit, baked peach with brown sugar, warm croissants, a delicious ham and veggie frittata, coffee, and juice. What a fantastic bed and breakfast! Sharon made our stay in three rivers and our overall trip to sequoia a beautiful one. The place is minutes from the park entrance. Accommodations are comfortable with a beautiful river view and breakfast is unbeatable! Sharon made frittatas and omlettes for us, cut up fresh fruit, cooked sausage and toast....and even baked us fresh cookies for after dinner! We drove by it the first time because the sign was obscured by flowers and from the outside it looks like any other suburban house. Inside is beautiful! Sharon and Dan clearly put lots of work into the design and the location is amazing. The house sits on a river and is minutes away from Sequoia National Park. The accommodations are lovely but not excessively frilly- there is wireless internet but only one TV in the main living area. There were fresh baked cookies when I arrived and the king bed I slept in was super comfortable. Sharon was helpful and explained about the local options for eating and gave us some books on Sequoia so we could decide what to do with our limited time. They were very accommodating of my dog even though she kept barking at Dan. The breakfast Sharon made was delicious- spinach frittata with ham and fresh fruit. Unfortunately, even though it was delicious there wasn't very much. Each of the 7 guests got one slice of the frittata and a little bit of fruit and there were no extras for those who were still hungry. I certainly didn't leave starving but I would have loved more fruit- there was one small plate of fruit for all 7 people! Two of the male guests were definitely looking around for more but neither of our hosts were around so clear that was it for food. Overall, a lovely stay but a little expensive for my taste. read more

I had a wonderful relaxing time at this special Bed and Breakfast. I'm so sorry I do not have pitures because I turned off my phone to totally relax. Sharon the proprietor of the home is what really made our stay so wonderful. Her attention to detail was impeccable. We wanted to see the movie The Worlds fastest Indian. And when we returned from our day it was layed out with directions of how to operate the VCR. The Spinach Frittata was so amazing fresh and hot! I asked for the recipe and when we returned from our day a copy of the recipe was left in our room. The river runs through the back yard and is active with all kinds of wildlife in action. Quail run through the whole neighborhood and Cranes can be spotted if you look closely and have a good eye. The restaurant right down the street serves the biggest baked potato you've ever seen. It's the perfect place to stay to go into the park to see the most amazing giant Sequoia Trees in the world. I recommend climbing up to the top of the fire lookout what an adventure and very educational too! I can highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast in Three Rivers. Oh and Super comfortable beds with down comforters and two fire places with plenty of free fire wood! I will definitely be staying here again. read more

We were so happy with this b and b. The host and hostess were very friendly, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and having the river at the base of the lawn was an additional bonus. We especially appreciated the small touches like the wine glasses and corkscrew sitting out and the flashlights to light your way to the patio on the river to enjoy that glass of wine. I'm so very glad to have stayed at River Dance my 3 nights in Three Rivers. It was a last minute reservation, but very rewarding. Though unusually hot in mid May this year, the AC made if very comfortable. The room was also cozy and clean. Sharon and Dan are very nice folks and you're in for a real treat come breakfast time. Very Tasty! Watch out for "Kitty" the hunter, she lets you know when it's time to hunt and then dares you to top her catch.
