Headed to San Francisco and wanted to stay at a halfway point hotel (from LA) that isn't called Harris Ranch. Found the Apricot Inn in Firebaugh, about 2.5 hours south of SF Bay Area. Was pleasantly surprised by friendly staff, the clean and modern room and they provide you with an early morning breakfast in the lobby. The property is well maintained and the pool area was clean...plus, you can walk to a number of well-known eateries (McDonalds, Subway, etc.) to grab a bite. It was super quiet at night and no surprise, you're adjacent to the farmland. My one and only complaint is the toiletries in the shower..pump action body wash, shampoo, and conditioner with the brand name Argan Oil?! This cannot stand, need an upgrade! Otherwise, a 5 star stay at the Apricot Inn.

Your employee Sylvia gave amazing customer service to me and to many other guests as well. She made me feel welcome and she let me charge my phone free of charge ! I will totally come here again. THANK YOU, SYLVIA !!

Rooms were clean, comfortable and affordable. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The best part of our stay was the breakfast, it was hot and not continental. Food was delicious and the breakfast staff Carmen, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place!

Shabby looking Best Western that won't let a kid use the bathroom. Unfriendly front desk.

I went for an easy 30 minute hike that included a stone labyrinth. I had packed a nice snack and ate it at the picnic tables. You can't eat by the tubs, so having chairs along the hiking trails and the picnic tables were a nice touch. The main pool complex is very spacious, but I really enjoyed having an adults only option just a little bit further up. I would definitely come here again, it's such a beautiful natural escape. Thank you for a wonderful experience, and to Jerzy for all of the help!

It's not a super long drive from Fresno, and it was a quite enjoyable scenic drive. When you get there, you're greeted by a nice attendance at the front desk. They give you all the details on the center and then I headed over to the locker room to change. They have two sets of soaking tubs one set is where you have to have clothing on and the other one is ware clothing is optional. The one with the clothing required was full, so I decided to track over to the clothing optional part. For those I'd like to go in the nude the area is fenced off, so nobody can see inside, but I decided to go in in my swimsuit. It was a great relaxing time where I took time to read a book that I haven't been able to enjoy for a while. Since I had packed a lunch, I went to over one of the picnic tables that they had and enjoy my lunch. After lunch, I headed over to the regular pool again. It was a great temperature and soaked for a little bit, took in the sun and then headed on back home. This is a fantastic place if somebody wants to do a day trip. However, there are areas where you can camp out with cabins and I believe in airstream you can rent out. Highly recommend.

I've never booked a room here, but we would meet up with our friends from Madera at this hotel since their place is too far for me to drive. Yesterday, I discovered a really cool greenhouse and a charming wine museum I had never seen before. There's no charge to enter the wine room, but you need a key card from the lobby to access it. Additionally, there's a cute, small pet park for furry friends. The hotel also features a pond filled with colorful koi fish and another pond with waterfalls. We spotted an adorable turtle just hanging out with some fake ducks. There are a couple of areas with fire pits, and there's even a rose garden. I found a spot where you can play bocce and horseshoes. The courtyard is definitely fun to explore, and the restaurant's view is fantastic. I also learned about a bar called The Lounge. I tried the food at the Kitchen for breakfast and lunch yesterday. The service was slow on both occasions. We had to wait for ten minutes because the staff member at the desk said the server would return by then. I asked if they could seat us while we waited for her break to finish, but we decided to stay anyway. Regardless, the food was excellent both times, so the restaurant kicks ass even though the service doesn't. There are many places to visit outside the hotel. The Korean Memorial is nearby, but we skipped it yesterday. Instead, we discovered a few parks with trails that offer beautiful views of the hills and the San Luis Reservoir. We also visited the Romero Overlook Visitors Center, where you can learn about the water system and the area's history. I'm sure there are more things to do in the area, but that was all we had time for during our adventure yesterday.

The Harris resort, restaurant and cute local American style store are such a gem in the local. Highly recommend visiting this Restaurant in the holiday season, you may enjoy the high quality meal and jollable holiday vibe. My friend order the 14 oz ribeye and I ordered 8oz filet mignon. It is a three course set. Soup(or Salad), bread and main course with two sides. The serve of the food matches the volume as it describe on the meau. It is quite a lot for girl. The chef or the culinary staff is expert on steak grilling. The crust of Filet mignon tastes caramel crunch. The inner of Filet mignon is perfectly soft tender. When you bite it, you still can feel the texture but not raw. It is warm and flavored tender. We enjoyed our dinner at regular restaurant. They also have the high end restaurant in the same building which combine with a classic drink bar.(adult only) if you would like to have a full experience of the premium steak paired with wine. You may have it in the same place. And of course, if you would like to bring the high quality raw beef back home and cook for your family they have another butcher in the gift shop.

Harris Ranch Restaurant today after church for Easter Dinner…read more We dined in the coffee shop or what they used to call the coffee shop. Judging by the menu it was obvious that the menu has been revised to highlight their more expensive selections. For that matter, ALL of their selections, I believe, can be called expensive. Our meals were delicious. My wife selected the filet mignon with soup (clam chowder). I selected the rib eye steak with garden salad. All delicious. Steaks were tender, and although I could not identify mine as a rib eye, it was delicious nonetheless the less. The portions were generous- about half of each of our meals went home with us. The only negative on the meal was my coffee. I like strong black coffee. This coffee was so strong, and quite bitter also, that I asked for,and graciously received, a cup of hot water to dilute it. Even so. It still was barely drinkable and I didn't finish one cup. Not wanting to hurt the moment, I said no more about it. The service was good and sufficient. The ambiance makes one feel that they are in somewhere special. The return soon feeling was not there, but I'm sure we'll be back.
