So I feel I've visited this store enough to formulate a very strong opinion on this particular branch. First off, you walk in and it's exactly as expected and pictured on the website. Also there is always some background chatter of an associate helping out or talking to a customer, not trying to avoid them like the big box stores do sometimes, whether it be measurements, an order placed, or any suggestions on new styles or patterns...these guys really go above and beyond. There is a woman, Ann McCarty, by far the least pushiest, most informative, and understanding person I've ever encountered. Small to medium size budget, no problem, high end and new products...she knows it all. I honestly feel like I'm visiting family or watching a good home improvement show when I'm there. Everyone is super helpful, polite, and extremely knowledgeable...that is key considering when you walk into the store it's to do a bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, or have a big area of your home tiled. I've been to Lowes and Home Depot before but will never again roll the dice on quality like this tile has. This store indeed has the "Best Tile",and greatest people working there to help you pick it all out!! Highly recommended...I don't say that too often either. read more

My first experience was a few years back, after dealing with a tile shop no longer in business further down the road, when Beth helped me pull together everything that I needed to install a walk-in shower - even tweaking the design of it after asking a few questions - which turned out as a HUGE help. She made sure that nothing was left undiscussed, we had everything we needed to do it ourselves, and did - we still get great compliments on the walk-in design and tile choice. This lead me back to Best Tile recently as I am going to install a backsplash in the kitchen on two walls - and BAM! Jeanne does exactly the same thing (I love consistency) - asks a few questions to determine best fit/tile/color/design and installation process and we have another winner. I suggest that that unless you are a professional tiler or design consultant that you just let the ladies do what the ladies do (there's a guy there too, but haven't dealt with him). I had the pleasure of working with Jeanne E at Best Tile. I was in a tough situation with a a bathroom remodel that is due to start in the next couple of weeks. I had originally picked out a 6 x 6" Cobalt Blue Tile that I found at a Big Box supplier, and unfortunately they only had a less than half the quantity I needed. I really got paranoid when I talked directly with Roca/US Ceramics and found out they were out and weren't expecting any for weeks. Knowing Best was one of only two local suppliers that carries Roca/Us Ceramics products, I called Best on Friday. Jeanne found the last inventory at three different locations across the country and made arrangements to get them shipped to their Dedham store. As luck would have it, the total was exactly what I was short! She was very courteous, and really saved the day for me, as the completion of the project is time critical. Greta customer service! Finally got around to updating the 60's lavender main bath, looked at several tile, plumbing and electrical big box and specialty stores for ideas. Contractor had cancellation and wanted to start in three days. Over to Best Tile, where Marie pulled together several options and material ideas for this color challenged customer. Everything (tub, flooring and accents) ready over a couple of days. All great...until my forgetting bath ceiling tile in my measurements.....panic call for more material, requiring delivery from N.Y. . They expedited order, called me 24 hours later, material delivered, I picked up and job continued without pause-Thank-You....Best Tile has product options, color choices, design advice, fair pricing and Service for these home renovations you only do once or twice. read more

We first worked with Jeanne Eckel to pick out the tile for my kitchen and bath when we re-modeled our Canton home. We loved it so much we went back to Best Tile when we re-modeled the two bathrooms in our RI beach home. If you are concerned about matching the color of the tile with the cabinets, granite, or color of the walls, ask for Jeanne!!! She will help you with your design and will pick out tile options, accent tile, and grout colors that all blend nicely with your décor. She was absolutely congenial, very knowledgeable, helpful in discussing options, and very responsive every single time we spoke or visited the store. When I described the aesthetic I wanted, she recommended a beautiful product (Residence Black porcelain tile) for our master shower and water closet. When we had issues with the kitchen tile sourced form a different store, we knew that calling Erin would guarantee that we get a great product at a good price. I am currently involved with a bathroom remodel. After searching everywhere for the right flooring tile, I tried looking at best tile in dedham. Erin Hayes helped me with narrowing my search down to two tiles. I have since installed the flooring and have to say she did a wonderful job in selecting a perfect match to my countertop.
