If I told anyone that I paid TWO different companies to deep clean my house in less than a week, they might think I was crazy. If you knew me, you'd also know I'm OCD about cleaning so it might not be all that surprising. However that's what I had to do before moving into my new home. I wish I had gone with Pedro and his crew at Best Quality Maid Services in the first place, so save yourself the time and disappointment and hire Pedro and his crew if you want things done right the first time.
Longer story is I requested several quotes through Yelp from different maid services for a deep clean. Best Quality Maid Service/Pedro was actually my first choice because of the level of detail in their work (I looked at every single picture for the top 5 services in the area). However, because my timeline was short, I ended up going with another service because they were available next day. That was my mistake. The house was actually already pretty clean since the previous owners kept up the recently remodeled homes home very well. Still, the other company took 3 hours and in the walk through I found drawers were still dusty, nothing high-up was cleaned (they didn't have ladders), walls were still scuffed/dirty, stainless appliances were streaky, and cabinets still had fingerprints on them (just to list a few things). Even though the other company offered to come back and clean, the fact they missed so many details and didn't have the right equipment was a strong indication they were not the "quality" service I was looking for.
I texted Pedro to see if he could help. He came with his crew and truck, and an array of different tools (including ladders!) and I could tell from that moment, as their team of 5 marched towards my home with their artillery of cleaning supplies, they were going to be good.
They promptly went to work and removed the hard water buildup in the showers that the other company could not do, re-cleaned all drawers (including deep in the corners), washed all the walls, window sills, got up high to dust, dressed the cabinets, mopped the floors, cleaned the stainless steel properly - these are all things the previous company could not do or miss. On top of that, Pedro would let me know of anything concerning that noticed (he pointed out a leak to me under the sink and helped fix it), or checked with me before cleaning something that might need attention later (we had some calcium buildup that would require re-caulking if cleaned). It was little things like that which further reinforced that his company was 100% the quality services I was looking for.
Pedro's been in the business for years, and has had loyal clients for decades - probably why there aren't many reviews here yet (the best companies I find are usually from word of mouth). But if you're lucky enough to hire him and his team for your cleaning needs, you won't regret it. I look forward to hiring him back for it maintenance cleanings! read more
