I've been there twice so I'll review both visits. The first visit I ordered the catfish dinner so did my buddy, I got greens and mac and cheese, he got mac and cheese and beans. The catfish was great, perfectly seasoned and fried. The greens were good, mac and cheese was OK. My buddy took one taste of the beans and said OMG. I tasted them and damn, they were good! And we both got that caramel cake, it was fabulous, my buddy didn't eat his piece, left it in the fridge, I ate half of it the next morning before he woke up!! My next visit wasn't as good. I ordered a rib dinner, this time with the beans and greens. Unfortunately there were out of the cake. The ribs were not good. The flavor was absolutely there, they tasted great however they were extremely tough. I'm not sure if I forgot to ask but I never order ribs with sauce on them. Even with the sauce I could tell these ribs were seasoned very well. If they were tender I'd be there every week. I'm going to try them again soon. read more

No complaints at all with the fish. The sides, however, were pretty bland. No flavor or seasoning which was kinda disappointing! Also ordered Chef Fries!!! Those were very good! It's French fries topped with chopped brisket and hot links. With bbq sauce, cheese, sour cream and green onions! Never would have thought of this combo, but it works! I liked them!!
