Immediately upon entering Primrose School of South Plano, we were comforted by the welcoming environment and warm staff. After the initial conversation with the owner of the school, we were taken on a tour where we knew immediately that this is a place where when we are at work we can be at ease knowing she is well taken care of and having a good time. It's a very loving and caring environment. Our daughter is being cared for by people that truly care about her and want to see her succeed in life. We also appreciate that the teachers are actually teaching and not just "watching" her. Although this is only her second week there, the teachers and the management staff have been fantastic about keeping us up-to-date on the highlights of our daughter's days, sharing her funny moments and her latest schedule. Perhaps the best reflection of that culture is that their staff includes three generations of teachers from the same family -- a mother, daughter, and granddaughter. A player on CDA went under the net completely onto the other side of the court and this could have been a huge danger to the other team. Nora is so excited to see her teachers everyday and has really thrived on their schedule. She claps when we pull in the parking lot. She has learned a lot and you can tell she's engaged throughout the day. She gets her work sent home with pictures at the end of every week. It's so nice seeing all of her art work and activities. They brushed me off and said oh call us back, which I did, I was determined to get my daughter in and called multiple times to only get the run around with voicemails and saying the manager wasn't available. She finally called me back as she saw I wasn't going to let up and said my daughter would be placed on the waitlist and received an email. I haven't heard anything since. Online I saw someone was on the waitlist for 2 years, and if that is the case an update would be appreciated. This seems like clear discrimination through a program that THEY decided to be part of. Ever since Ms. Alissa became the class teacher for Pre-K-2, Isha wasn't just happy but was excited to go to school. The very manner she greets the kids in the morning not only brightens their days but ours as well.
