My son went to this school for 2 years. From 1 1/2-3 1/2. To say I am disappointed in the way this school handled situations is an understatement. I should have paid more attention to red flags but their curriculum is great and I loved that my son was learning the Chinese language. Long story short, here's what happened: 2 years at this school and I get approached by the office manager to sign an incident report (our first ever) and it is multiple issues about my son like he is jumping on the cots everyday, he kicked a child and some other things. We obviously would never condone this behavior and the office manager mentioned "maybe your kid has ADHD?!" Well.. I've never noticed ADHD behavior in my kid let alone any 3 year old so I let that comment slide and we talked to our son that night about his behavior. Throwing this in - she also said this has been going on for months but didn't want to bother me with it, they wanted to get it under control so they never mentioned any 'bad behavior'. Next day (was a Thursday) get pulled aside again by the office manager for different problems but to sign another incident report (2nd in 2 years) - this time he was breaking crayons and cut in line for the bathroom. She mentioned ADHD again and I told her no, that's not it and we talked to our son once again that night. Friday, nothing happened. Monday the owner asked to speak with me - so we set up an appointment at 5 that day. In this meeting I was told we have 2 weeks to find my child the help he needs because they believe he has ADHD and they do not have the teachers at this school who can help him. Okay - obviously upset I left. Husband talked to them the next day in another appointment where he was told we could bring our son back after he got help. Also, they said we could send our next child to them and they would make sure she wouldn't have these behavioral issues. Let me be clear - this situation was handled 100% poorly and the comments made were 100% unprofessional. So I got my son out of there by the end of the week and found a new place for him. They gave us 4 business days to handle a situation before kicking our son out on an assumption. There were a lot of things about this school I didn't like but I am only sharing this small piece because parents should know how they operate. I do not and will not ever recommend this school to anyone. There are plenty of daycares in Plano and I would suggest you keep searching. read more
