We were a Goddard family for three years before our relationship ended with the state licensor visiting our home as a result of their negligence. There's been a significant decline in quality of care, standards, and management over the last year. I will note that the infant and toddler teachers are fantastic. However, the preschool side of the school is pure chaos and the front office could not care less, which we had to learn the hard way. If you care about your children's safety and wellbeing, I suggest looking elsewhere. They market themselves as a premium preschool, but in their case you do not get what you pay for. read more

The owners are always open to listen if I ever have questions or concerns, but most importantly the teachers are SO LOVING! Not a good experience once they had my money! Felt completely scammed! I started conversations with the school in October 2022. My family and I were moving from out of state and were looking for a preschool for my child to attend once we got to Texas. I did a virtual tour with the school and was told that they would likely have room for my child to start attending once we arrived in December. I received lots of communication and follow ups from the school thereafter. We came into town to visit in November 2022 and did an in person tour. We were pleased with the school and asked again if they would have an opening in December.The Director spoke with me again, and told me with enthusiasm that she was pretty confident that there would be an opening in December once we arrived in Texas; she encouraged me to join the waitlist and pay the deposit/registration fee. I paid the $200 fee and was told I was number one on the waitlist for December. I did not receive much communication after that. Once my family and I relocated to Texas in early December 2022, I called the school to let them know we were ready to start. The Director said there wasn't an opening just yet but to call back in a week. I called back the next week and was informed there were still no openings and that I would need to wait for an opening possibly in February 2023. I asked what happened to the opening in December and they said it just had not become available as anticipated. I reiterated to them that I was counting on childcare once we arrived in December, and based on their word that they were pretty confident they would have availability, I paid the registration fee. I then asked for my registration fee to be refunded and was told that it was nonrefundable, even after the Director admitted to being wrong in expressing her confidence in an opening. I understood that there was never a 100% guarantee that we would receive a spot right away just by paying for registration; however, I did base my decision off of their optimism and confidence that there would be an opening in December. I have since placed my child at another school, which we are very happy with but unfortunately spent way more money in school registrations than I anticipated due to the Goddard school and how they handled the situation. For that reason I would not recommend giving the school any money until an opening is 100% available for your child. read more

Everyone here was extremely friendly! The director of education really loves her job and you can tell that she cares about what the kids are learning in the classroom. The owner stopped by and he was very nice. It immediately felt welcoming like a family. They have catered meals and it's very expensive, not your typical school lunch. We decided on another school but solely because of price vs budget. This was a great school and I'd recommend it to anyone! read more

We could not be happier about coming back to Goddard. Under the old owners, we left due to a high employee turnover. Returning, now three years later, we could not be happier with the new owners, a husband and wife team. As a teacher myself, I had high standards for a preschool that would be preparing my child for kindergarten. The teachers and staff fully support my child's intellectual, as well as his social emotional well being, exactly what he needs to be successful upon entering elementary school. This is not your "run of the mill" daycare. The Stone family has gone above and beyond to keep me in the loop about my child's academic progress. At the age of 5, he is a reader and is performing above level on national norm based assessments. As we are enrolling him in school, we are confident that he is ready for kindergarten. We will continue to keep him in the after school program once school starts in the fall as well. read more

I had A LOT OF ISSUES with this places!! I saw the class teacher screaming and hitting the table like crazy in the class and complained about that but nothing happended, I saw her letting a bottomless child sitting on the restroom ground and also complained still nothing happened, I saw the kids hitting each other with hard toys while the teacher not even looking because they tend to let ONE teacher for 10 or 11 kids so it turns into a mess not a class and when I talked to them they said we're looking for teachers!!!!! Another one HIT A TWO YEAR OLD CHILD!! you need to believe all those who mentioned that the school let go of thier best, qualified teachers and replaced them with OBVIOUSLY unqualified ones who with all my respect can't manage taking care of one toddler not a full class!! They tend to have a new teacher EACH AND EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS!! which made my child VERY uncomfortable with the place. The owner is EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE! She always admit all the horrible things happening in the place but never moves a finger fixing any of it. I would absolutely NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE PLACE for any one I know if you! If you really care about your kids don't give them blindly to them!! read more

LOVE this school!! Everyone here is amazing! The owner, the director, and the teachers are all the best. They all care for your children like they are their own. You can just tell they love their jobs. My kids have been happy here from the first day. I have a 2 and 5 year old. I am shocked so far at how much the 5 yr old has learned. He can actually read! Simple 3 and 4 letter words but this is SO amazing! And he knows his ABCs in Spanish, the pledge of allegiance, and so much cool stuff about geography and science. It makes me so happy to drop them off everyday at a place they laugh and run into. No tears at all :-) read more

I am so glad we chose The Goddard School in Frisco for our now one-year-old son. My husband and I are both teachers, so it was very important to us to choose a school for our son that was more than just a daycare center. The teachers and staff are friendly and engaging. They truly care about my son. I feel confident knowing they are helping him learn and develop, but they are also showing him such love and attention. The effect of Goddard is already showing in our son--in the way he can interact happily with anyone, his lack of separation anxiety, his easy-going happy nature. We would recommend Goddard to anyone. In fact, our neice is just about to start here soon. It's such a family feel and a great community. We are proud to be a part of it. I know my son will be beyond ready for Kindergarten! read more

So disappointed!!! They don't communicate effectively. Don't provide solutions, and extremely one sided. Things appear to go on in the classroom and teachers are not as involved as they should be or some of the issues wouldn't of happened in the first place. I would seriously question this place before placing your child there. Owner is nice, and everyone seems to be friendly, however they lack professionalism, and a understanding of childhood development!! I cannot say enough great things about this school! The teachers are absolutely amazing, especially Ms. Michelle! The owners, Kristina and Jordan have gone above and beyond what I could ever imagine to make sure our kids are in great hands. Communication is incredibly important and with the tadpole app, we know exactly what was worked on each day. I can talk with my kids about the different parts of their day as if I was there myself! Seeing how much my kids have grown in just the past month only makes me so much more excited to see what the rest of their child care career has in store for them at Goddard! read more

The Goddard school is a God sent. It is the best school in the area. The entire staff provides a very loving, safe and caring environment for the kids that go there. My daughter has been in other day cares and hated going everyday, but since we started her here she is excited to go to school everyday, and just loves her teachers and all of the staff. The owner is actively involved and so is the staff. If you want your kids in a safe, well taken care of school that also follow an educational program then this is where you want to bring your little ones. We love Goddard School. The teachers have been great and they were so flexible with us on summer camp bookings. We had to make some last minute changes to our schedule and they were so accommodating and helpful. Our daughter just loves her teachers. The hours are great and we especially love the lunch program options. I absolutely LOVE this school! I recently moved here from Illinois and was looking for a childcare center for my 4 yr old twins. I was immediately impressed with the friendliness and professionalism shown by the entire staff. The owner took the time to talk with me and review my priorities for my children. Most schools expect you to get on board with their program regardless of what your priorities are so I truly appreciated this. They have excellent teachers who engage the children with hands on learning opportunities. They school is always clean and tidy. I'm so happy we found the Goddard School in Frisco!!! read more

My son attended Goddard in Frisco, TX from 17 months old to 5 years old and I cannot recommend enough the care, support, or education that was provided. I felt like I knew every teacher, administrator, and the owners on a personal level after so long there - they truly know each child individually. The most important thing to me was, the maybe two times I had concerns about something, they were immediately addressed, taken seriously and I can tell you the problem was rectified promptly and appropriately. It was comforting to know that they never took the "cover ourselves" approach, but truly looked out for the best interest of the children and parents' concerns. The educational front is exceptional, friends and family have always been amazed at the development of my son. Again, I cannot recommend this place enough. I would do anything for these people who guided and loved by baby when I couldn't be with him. read more

DIRECTOR of the school has no back bone she seems nice at first but, underneath it all this school is a joke. First off you have to provide your own meals because they sell you on kids being allergic or they don't like this and that. It just means that they will charge you the same amount of what another school offers but they are too cheap to provide food with tuition. My child went for one week and was kicked out because the Teacher in my childs class could not handle a hyperactive kid so my child was singled out and was asked not to come back to school. These people the front lady, the director and teachers should not be in the business of daycare. The owner needs to go back to business school because clearly she is running a business with inexperienced teachers/staffing as herself. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. On another note the facility is old and outdated very dirty what you pay a wk you can get much better! read more
