The varsity coach of the girls volleyball team seams a bit shady.. she told the referee she had an "important" dinner to go to so the referee made the game real quick with being bias and calling all penalties against the other team. In the rules of volleyball you cannot touch the net or go under the net. A player on CDA went under the net completely onto the other side of the court and this could have been a huge danger to the other team. She is lucky that she didn't hurt herself or anyone on the other team. This school is teaching UNSAFE sportsmanship and it needs to be shared. read more

They dropped about 40%+ of the students, and about 40% of their teachers year over year. There are issues with the board's management claiming they do "not serve any living constituents" Stay away. Where there is smoke there is lots of fire in this case! read more

Wonderful Christian education and small class sizes! We've been at CDA 4 years and have loved the teachers, fellow parents and students.

We love Coram Deo Academy! This is our fourth year and the teachers and administrators are all wonderful. The families are top notch too. We love the collaborative model and having them in school twice a week and home the other days. It's been a great fit for our family and has certainly allowed us to be together more. read more

This is our 2nd year at CDA CC and we are so glad to be back. Our daughter has excelled academically, and is learning how to be a humble leader with a heart for others. There are also a lot of daily things that make life so easy because they are so well thought out...car pool line, orientation, PTF events, field trips, assignment sheets, etc. We really appreciate all the attention to detail that allows the school to run so smoothly. read more

We are in our fourth year at CDA, and we couldn't be happier. The idea of homeschool felt overwhelming, and this has been the perfect solution. I still get to participate in my children's education, but I have the benefit of having the curriculum planned for me and they have the benefit of social development and intentional discipleship. The community is incredible. It is loving and gracious. The most encouraging thing, though, has been my interactions with older students. The school's mission statement is to train ethical servant-leaders and wise thinkers who will shape culture for the glory of God; and they are succeeding, as evidenced by the character of the upperclassmen. Coram Deo has been such a blessing to our family. This is our family's fifth year at CDA. we started when my boys were in kindergarten and 2nd grade. We wanted a classical, Christian education for our children. They are developing a Biblical, Christ-centered world view in every subject. We love our home days. We love this Christian Collaborative School. Both of our older children attend &!the support for families & teachers is amazing! They love our children well and challenge them academically while developing their spiritual lives and faith! If I had more time I could write more, maybe later! You better read the fine print of the completely one-sided enrollment covenant. It's essentially a Terms of Service checkbox that gets in the way of you enrolling your kids online, but be warned that this administration firmly enforced it on our family despite our appeals for grace. We asked to unenroll extremely early in February. That's 6 months before the school year even started. Yet the administration deemed it morally acceptable to hold us to the letter of the law and squeeze tuition out of our family. I initially thought they would surely not be so heavy-handed on enforcing the policy. After all, their fine print does provide a full refund if you unenroll before the end of January, and we were just a couple weeks past that date. So that seemed kind of harsh to me. I thought if only I could get an empathetic Christian or even a reasonable human being to consider my situation, then they would have mercy right? So I appealed. And appealed. And appealed. Turns out mercy is harder to come by from these people than I thought. I appealed past the Finance Manager, past the Headmaster, past the Campus Director, and finally to their school board which is made up of parents. I wrote these fellow parents a letter appealing for grace. They gave none. They responded with words of sympathy and lots Christianese language, but what were their actions? Only strict adherence to the letter of their law and the withholding of grace. Seems kind of pharisaic to me don't you think? I wonder, is it true the classrooms are full? Did they fill my spot and collect tuition twice? I would have been happier if they used my tuition to give an underprivileged kid a scholarship or something, but I'm not sure they could see past the dollar signs to do so. P.S. the teachers were great btw. read more

We have 1 PreK child in Coram Deo currently and 1 that will be attending PreK next year. I think I visited every Christian school in DFW and spent hours researching. While there are many wonderful schools, we felt at home from our very first (of 2) campus preview days. I was a little nervous for our current PreK student, because he had never once been to a Mother's day out program/day care of any kind. The PreK teacher at Collin County is an absolute Saint! She has already taught my little one so much, I am amazed at what he comes home and shares with me. I could go on, but ultimately, what impresses me the most is how I can feel the love of Jesus Christ in this school. As a mother who was looking for a school that will enforce the values of God's Word, I believe I have found it. I am very grateful for this amazing school and what they are doing every day in the lives of God's precious children. read more
